ECX Mile Seven is a super nice analogue cigarette eliquid; modeled after the Japanese cig Mild Seven, now Mevius. This is actually the first liquid I have experienced that truly tastes like a pleasant full flavored analogue cig without a chemical backnote or huge steep time involved. I'd say it's more along the lines of a Marlboro Light in taste. I added 1% INW Dirty Neutral Base to the mix and it's an ADV for me.
There is an inherent slight maple flavor to this vape; took me a while to put my olfactory sense finger on this note. It's quite nice and folks around you will notice it as well..... I get comments on how good it smells all the time!
ECX does carry the Mile Seven. Bull City Flavors sells the same concentrate, however, it is listed as Super Concentrate (SC) Seven. I have tried both liquids; they are identical in flavor and performance.
I love this one. One of my favorites so far. It’s got a bit of sweetness, some earthy and floral notes, and a bit of tobacco ash. Great mouthfeel and vapor production, too!
This is exactly what I was looking for , a simple mix that comes very close to the flavor of an analogue to help a friend.I think you and JoJo nailed the description perfectly. Thanks for the share!
Sometimes less is more! ; ) I eventually learned to stop hiding the flavor of the tobacco with a whole bunch of other stuff. I've gotten a lot of great vapes with a combination of 2 to 4 concentrates in the mix; as long as the tobacco is tasty, you don't need much else.
I could not agree more!
I know I am preaching to the choir so to speak but I never understood how most people started smoking in the first place. It seems when someone mentions a tobacco flavored vape the majority of us act like tobacco tastes terrible and we smokers just tolerated the tobacco to get the nicotine we wanted. : )
People were smoking the tobacco leaf long before anyone knew anything about nicotine. Those leafs contained nowhere near the nicotine big tobacco adds in , not to mention the 1000's of other chemical "goodies" their chemists have added in over the years.
The more I mix with tobacco the more I realize just what a wonderfully delicious complex flavor it can be all on it's own!
What was your steep time on this? Just picked up a MTL setup after years of subohming and this sounds like just what I want in the tank. Thanks in advance!!
Surprisingly enough, the SC tobaccos don't take near as long to steep to satisfaction like other brands. I usually did a warm rice steep session while I was frothing the new mix, left it to breath under a napkin for about 24 hours, bottles it up and in less than a week it was good to go. Most all of the SC tobaccos were like that..... minus the Virginia Flue Cured. That one tastes like poop (super floral) no matter how long you let it steep.
MTL, huh? You should check out the Merlin by Augvape. You can have the best of both worlds if you want and it is super easy to coil and wick; no leaking of any kind.
Hey kinnikinnick! Just brewed this up and after 48 ours of room temp cap on steep it shows a lot of promise. I'm pumped to taste this at full maturity. What is the purpose of your cap-off steep? Thanks!
The Mild Seven (aka Seven from BCF) is an alcohol based concentrate. With many of the SC concentrates, I let a fresh mix sit open air for alcohol evaporation purposes.
This mix only gets better with age; even though I'm vaping 99% NETs these days, this is one of the synth mixes that I will vape for old time sake every now and then. I have a batch from July '16 which I tap on occasion and still find it crazy smooth and tasty. ; )
I mixed this up two months ago, and am getting the weirdest perfume note. It immediately reminded me of a "granny" perfume. I'm not getting maple though. Just this lavender/rose taste. Strange!
I used The Mild Seven SC from Juice Factory AU, so maybe their Mild Seven is different to the Mile Seven ECX you used.
