This recipe is from the man himself, addy tuney!

One of the best custard recipes I've ever come across, really comes into it's own after about a week of steeping.

Enjoy!

Addy I love your most of the recipes. Specially your custard. Thanks a lot man. Keep it up this great work.

Thanks Addy!

This is the recipe that I started DIY with. I really like the taste as is but I also use it as a base and add different flavors to try. So far, I couldn't manage to f..k up :)
Thanks a lot for this.
#5 by NeuroApathy, Dec 24. 2015, 05:47
do you think it would be good with an added 1.5% of fresh cream FA?
#6 by freshepies, Dec 24. 2015, 08:47
No problem ali! I'm not a big fan of the fresh cream, but if you cut the Bavarian a bit you might wind up with something tasty!
#7 by eFlavourFlav, Jan 4. 2016, 22:49
fantastical recipe, I think I may just prefer it to the yogurt. Gonna try it with some a touch more custard next time, and the V1 when I can get it in. Thanks for sharing Fresh!
#8 by freshepies, Jan 6. 2016, 06:18
No problem my canadian brother!
#9 by NeuroApathy, Jan 7. 2016, 00:15
cut the bavarian a bit?
#10 by Mixmaster, Jan 15. 2016, 14:38
Just mixed up 60ml of this, can't wait to give it a taste. Loved your strawberry milkshake...actually everyone loves that one.
Today I'll be mixing up your KLPY, and Addys yogurt. Thanks bro.
#11 by Kvon, Jan 25. 2016, 04:44
Cut the bavarian cream there is no bavarian cream on this fresh
#12 by freshepies, Jan 25. 2016, 06:41
That was a different conversation that spilled over onto here.
#13 by Kvon, Jan 31. 2016, 14:46
You have any good idea for a strawberry and kiwi I keep trying but the kiwi is way to string everytime I am using kiwi double by tfa.........

But I can either use strawberry tfa or strawberry ripe tfa sweet strawberry cap or red touch fa
#14 by freshepies, Feb 2. 2016, 07:58
Yeah, using Flavor West Kiwi makes all of the difference in the world on this one. Plus it all kind of mellows out after a week to a really nice combination of flavors.

A nice Strawberry Kiwi yogurt would be awesome, I could run with that at some point.
#15 by Ilovevaping2097, Feb 15. 2016, 20:37
I couldn't get my hands on FW kiwi so ended up using TPA kiwi but I don't think it came out right. Any suggestions?
#16 by Kvon, Feb 15. 2016, 23:52
Yeah gwendolyn kiwi I didn't have it at first and tried the same as you at a few different percentage and just wasn't that great but it was vapable but like fresh said fw kiwi makes all the difference in this recipe don't mean tpa kiwi is bad I love it I use it in my strawberry kiwi and it's great be so idk if it's the Blueberry that it don't mix good with or what
#17 by Ilovevaping2097, Feb 16. 2016, 02:10
Thanks for the input. I'm pretty new to this diy but can see how much the right ingredients make it or break it.
#18 by Kvon, Feb 16. 2016, 03:01
I am new as well I only vape now for 3 months now
#19 by Ilovevaping2097, Mar 7. 2016, 04:24
Ordered the right stuff and made the world of difference. Great Juice.
#20 by Kiefer, Apr 4. 2016, 20:26
I have "fw strawberry kiwi" to hand. Can I use this flavour to cover both kiwi and strawberry red touch? Iff so what % would you recommend?
#21 by freshepies, Apr 4. 2016, 22:00
I don't think it would work unfortunately. The kiwi needs to stand out initially. Plus there's no replacement for red touch.

#27 by DripNDrive, May 4. 2016, 20:28

#28 by thierry, May 9. 2016, 20:56
shaked it and vaped it.. didnt like it.... 10 days later that thing is amazing!
#29 by Taji, Jun 13. 2016, 15:06
This is the first recipe Ive followed...its gorgous...only been steeping for 2 days and ive used 25 ml already...cant wait till the rest has a week steep. great recipe..gets better each day
#30 by Kiwi_Vaper, Jul 13. 2016, 03:10
This juice is awesome. I normally steep my mixes for 3-4 weeks at least. AFter the steep, when I first tried it, it tasted weird (not bad). I still kept vaping it and after a tank or two, I really started digging the crip and tart taste of this gem. I guess it is a very different flavour profile and I just had to acquire a taste for it. 5 stars all the way...Thanks for sharing mate.
#31 by cubsfuture, Aug 10. 2016, 17:58
Why is the drops per ml set to 45?
#32 by RaTaMaHaTTa, Sep 11. 2016, 21:26
why 60 vg???
#33 by NaKiLLo, Oct 23. 2016, 17:26
Did anyone try to subs the VC v2 with v1?
#34 by M1k3, Nov 12. 2016, 21:59
VC v1 is a stronger, better custard, so I assume it would taste good. Maybe just 2% though. I just mixed a batch with v2 and also one with v1 to compare. Will let you know in a week or two.
#35 by Artemics, Dec 4. 2016, 02:01
Nice recipe bro, I want to change
Vanilla Custard v2 (CAP) to TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream is it okay? and how many for it?
#36 by Sully, Mar 4. 2017, 07:05
Can I use tpa vanilla custard instead? Is so how much?
#37 by Daniel Wright , May 1. 2017, 02:46
fresh any other brand kiwi work as my supplier doesn't have fw
thanks Daniel
#38 by benjy337, Jun 3. 2017, 06:33
This recipe doesn't get enough credit here IMO. Great recipe! I did bump the Custard to 3% and used CAP v1. Excellent as a SNV too.
#39 by Elites, Jun 3. 2017, 09:07
@Daniel Wright FA 1.5% or same TFA Kiwi with the same % 3.5 will work.
#40 by ignite426, Sep 22. 2017, 01:17
Hey fresh, I'm not a fan of custard, but what would you think of replacing the vanilla custard with CAP vanilla cupcake? You think it would taste good, or waste of ingredients? I had the yogurt and I love it but the Greek yogurt irritates my throat a bit. Any thoughts? Thanks brotha
#41 by Stafylidis Vladimiros, Oct 23. 2017, 08:27
I like it !
#42 by Paulie V, Nov 18. 2017, 18:37
Ordering some kiwi but instead just to make it a little bit different I added some razzleberry to support the strawberry and so far after 8 days it is totally delicious but I will be doing the original I'm sure it's great.
#43 by Zak2017, Dec 24. 2017, 17:36
I have kiwi double tpa
Strawberry ripe tpa
Sweet strawberry cap
Shisha strawberry inw
Will these work as subs? At what percents?
#44 by freshepies, Dec 25. 2017, 05:22
Ypu could do it with 3% ripe and 3% sweet. Kiwi double is a problem. It's good, but it's not the same.
#45 by Paulie V, Dec 28. 2017, 03:03
I did a adapt which changed the whole recipe, I didn't have kiwi so I messed around and added Razzleberry instead also black current also juggled the % to suit my pallette. Would I add as adapt ? I did.
I can add differently @freshepies
#46 by freshepies, Dec 28. 2017, 05:06
Just adapt.
#47 by Paulie V, Dec 28. 2017, 05:09

I followed this recipe exactly and made 100ml, except that mine is zero mg nic. I'm just over two weeks steeping and decided to try it and it is fantastic. This is my new most favorite recipe.
Thanks for another great one Fresh! Also, have you tried this with v1 custard? I was thinking about making a tester like that.
#52 by freshepies, May 10. 2018, 07:16
Itsbetter with the V1.
#53 by Just Mix It, Jul 18. 2018, 22:17
Really enjoying this one, it has a nice balance of flavors and that kiwi gives it a nice finish.
#54 by 1967lefty, Jul 26. 2018, 19:37
Can I sub the Red Touch Strawberry with sweet Strawberry?
#55 by freshepies, Jul 26. 2018, 21:13
Sure, go high with it!
#56 by Siskologist, Dec 21. 2018, 10:10
I'm not even a fruit fan but this custard is amazing! I made it just as the recipe states and man it's delicious! Thanks for sharing fresh!
#57 by freshepies, Dec 21. 2018, 14:22
It's still one of the best!
#58 by Shuja Yasin, May 6. 2019, 22:56
Sorry for the dumb question in advance. Could I substitute the Vanilla custard v2 for regular (cap)vanilla custard or (fa) custard premium. If so, what percentages would you recommend?
#59 by freshepies, May 7. 2019, 00:08
Sure, use premium same percentage.
#60 by faru4, Apr 7. 2020, 18:09
Freshepies, steep time?
#61 by TonyB, Jul 21. 2020, 12:22
I used a few substitutes in mine. Its a good vape.
Many thanks and much gratitude to Addy Tuney
and Fresh03. I used FA premium custrard, and VTA Kiwi Fruit
Thanks.
#62 by freshepies, Jul 21. 2020, 16:13
TonyB, if you mix this again try a more kiwi candy flavor, you'll get a better representation of what this mix is intended to be.
