Mark, what's steep time looking like on this? I have all but the Shisha...will probably sub in a TPA flavor in it's place..recommendation between SB abd SB Ripe?
So the RF SC SB can stand on it's own? Excellent! How harsh is it? I tried the slushy recipe but had to heat steep to eliminate part of carrier (I think?)...still a little harsh but improving...
Yes the Strawberry (SC) definitely can stand on its own. I just like Strawberry Shisha it helps to round out the flavor.
Hmmm, I had not had any harshness with Blueberry Lemonade Slushie (SC)?
Honestly for my palate the BLS (SC) was one of the best SFM @3% that have tasted.
Mark I'm confused a little I just left another forum a week ago where everyone of them are swearing we are using way to much RFSC in our mixes and they recommend like max %2 many of them use only .5 to 1.5% on standalones so I have bought some and RFSC and am wondering before I start using them your thoughts on this? because if they are saying max %2 as a standalone then wouldn't your recipe freak them out? Please I am not saying your wrong and they are right I am just trying to understand these RFSC flavors
Colby I can only share my mixing experience with RF (SC) line. There is a very comprehensive and expansive thread on the forum side of ELR. It is dedicated exclusively to Real Flavors (SC) & definitely worth the read. I would never say I am right & other Mixers are wrong. I can only offer this recipe based on my own personal preference. As always Eliquid recipes are adaptable. I encourage others to use what they like & adjust whatever they wish to better fit their palate. Good Luck π & Good Mixing π
Thanks Mark I have been mixing for a long time and honestly I think I pretty much suck at it so i ussually stick to other peoples recipes. I am going to make this one you posted I have the RFSC on order. Im just trying to figure out why if lets say a standalone is perfect at %2 then why is multiple flavors at %2 not too much I just dont get it. is it that more than %2 of one flavor mutes your toungue receptors but multiple different flavors don't for some reason? Am I on track with that and if so then why is there a total flavoring that is too much? I gotta get better at this I have invested hundreds of dollars and still never come up with my own recipe I think is awesome. so I stick to others but there are so many out there that are crap you end up wasting time and money making them all. I have heard good things about your recipes so I will be making a few of yours soon.
I don't make many recipes from other mixers. But I wanted to try some Real Flavors and when Joe Van Kleef posted this one I knew it would be worth the shot. I was right. I did add a small amount of sweetener. Which I rarel do but other than that it's as you've posted. Very good Mark! After a few days steep this settles down into a delicious, refreshing vape. Been vaping it the past few days and I've really enjoyed it. Kind of cleanses my palette so when I bounce between this and my strawberry swirl I get wild flavor from them both. Solid recipe man. Very well done! Thank you!
I'm vaping this the day after mixing. Only subbed the Shisha out for NF Strawberry, same % as yours. This is a tasty recipe! Btw, why aren't you clicking "other" on your RFSCs in the calculator? This recipe is actually 0.5/99.5 PG/VG. The RFSC being alcohol based, are PG-free. Just curious, I doubt it matters in the mix itself. Thanks for sharing this, it's the best use of the RF Taffy I've tried yet.
