So never having the real Placid before, I'm probably not a very good source of feedback on this recipe. The recipe in and of itself is very good though and I'll be making another 30mls. The other guys I had try it all liked it a lot too. Nice job!

@ThirdWorldOrder Thanks! yeah i'm still tweaking it, i think it might need some Citric acid or maybe a different lime like and Inawara maybe but not sure yet. I've also thought this base is very tasty and maybe adding some type of cream or milk might be interesting. (:

Don't bother with citric acid.. It doesn't really do anything but gunk coils. I happen to have inawara lime so let me know what you think needs changing and I'll let you know if it's better/worse

Just replace both limes with inawara and see how it goes at a percentage you are familiar with. I don't know how strong that stuff is because I've never had it. the cold pressed does seem to be in the original but the inawara might taste similar not sure.
