This looks super tasty! Only thing I'm missing is TPA Caramel Original. I'm about to re-up on my VG and stuff..... will definitely order some caramel flavor and try this. Thanks for posting it!
I've made this yesterday with 6mg nicotine.
I steeped it in a yoghurt machine for 8 hours and just tested my first batch and the taste is amazing!
It comes very close to the creme brulee from Nickoticket which I loved and used as reference.
It lacks a little bit vanilla flavour but that might be due my way of steeping so I'm letting it rest for a week now.
If it doesn't improve I'm gonna try it with 1% less caramel
@RadienceNL, I know this is a really late reply, but try taking out the caramel candy. You could always add Vanilla Swirl to this if you want more vanilla (or French vanilla). Not sure if you're even mixing this recipe anymore but let us know how it turns out if you do go that route!
@ThirdWorldOrder:
I do actually so even late still thanks for the reply!
I'm out of TPA Custard but I'll give it a go with what you said and instead of TPA Custard I'll use CAP's version. I don't have Vanilla Swirl but I'll add some French Vanilla instead which I have here :-)
I've been having a real hard time with these caramels being muted. Steeping only slightly intensifies the flavor. Is it possible I'm over flavoring? I'm usually around 10% caramel (total with both)
ok guys i tried it with sweetener 1 drop every 5ml vaping it now after 4 days this thing is awesome right now not too sweet but the creamy caramel i am getting right now is fantastic!!U can sell this thing for good! thanks again for the recipe mate!
Did anyone try mixing this with the DX version of the Caramel flavor? Really looking forward to this one, been craving some nice caramel juice for a while now!
Looking forward to trying this out! Just ordered my ingredients. Just not keen on having to wait for that steeping time! I wanna taste this bad boy!!!!
I do always feel pepper smell in VBIC, Vanilla Custard, Vanilla Swirl ((( Most of recipes here are with this stuff. If i don't want vanilla taste but creams and custards, what would be best substitution?
ThirdWorldOrder, thanks for feedback. I made my adaptation of recipe without custurd, but with swirl, sugar and acetylene parasite. I made it before your reply about pepper taste. Will try my adaptation first. Not sure if Acetil Parazin works here in any way, this is the first try. Check the recipe tjek.nu/r/3Drb
Definitely needs a proper steep, no getting around it. I didn't have the Candy, but even without it's become my ADV for this month! Thanks ThirdWorldOrder
made it using Capella's Vanilla Custard V1 at same percentage and its a good shake and vape, flavor changes as it steeps tho. starts off like a caramel creme, then starts to taste like a good mexican flan as it steeps and coils glaze over
6 days out from mixed and this is already showing a lot of promise, I can't wait until it gets some real steeping in. It tastes almost like a salted caramel custard right now and it is going great with my coffee. I'm glad I waited for my order of caramel candy to show up before mixing it, this recipe is a real winner as written. You're a flavor genius, thanks so much!
After 11 days, I still taste only pepper. No caramel at all ((( strange. My modified recipe is full of caramel and no pepper. For those who taste pepper in custurds.
A month in and mine is tasting pretty good :) I didn't have caramel candy, and I added 3% Bavarian cream. I think if I make it again I'd use Cap's VC though
excellent! I let it steep for just over 5 weeks. Started vaping on a 30ml bottle around 10pm last night and right now its over half gone . I subbed out sweet cream for dx as I ran out of the standard. It really came into its own after about week 3 but I held off to give it longer . Glad I did . Thanks for sharing !
This recipe is one of my favorites. I cannot use it more than 2 days in a row or I start not getting any flavor from it but I have to go back to it every week and vape a few tanks. Great Job.
This is one of my favorite ADV. I recommend not leaving anything out. The caramel candy really helps a lot.
Takes at least 2 weeks for it to really shine.
Thank you for such a great vape.
Tasty, Tasty, Tasty, Tasty, Nod Noggin, Tasty, Tasty, Tasty, Nod Noggin, Tasty, Tasty, Tasty, Nod Noggin, uh, where was...Oh shit, I already posted this, oh well, all I can say is WOW, Tasty, Tasty, Tasty, did I say Tasty??? Best Caramel Custard EVER!!!!
this is the first recipe on the recipe page that interests me , aside from the forum members , have you tried to add some butterscotch to this ???? anyway very interesting i believe after a good steep ill be coming back to say great job
I know TheThirdWorldOrder does not have 100s of recipes like some on hear lol, but the recipes he does have are quility and imo that is much better than 100s of ok recipes.
I'm a massive custard van and i'm always on the lookout for bew ideas or changes to my own custards, and this guys custards i have made and loved so much, i also adapted a couple for my self and that has worked well too, cheers
On 10 ml i made the other day, i got a very bad milk taste. Something between outdated milk and plastic. That taste sticks in my mouth and dries it, need to spit or wash it to get it out. Really aweful taste. This is isolated, i made another bottle before and was fine as far as i remember. Any thoughts on what went wrong? Im kinda scared of doing another bottle after that expirience
Well they say honesty is the best policy, @ThirdWorldOrder I was told this one is the closest to SVC Little Havana, still steeping at the moment although you don't instill much confidence, despite comments and I commend you for your respectful, calm and straight forward response, however regardless of the comments I am still looking forward to vaping this one. 👍
I had taken this recipe down for a few months just because I didn't really think it was the bees knees or anything special. I have some friends that really like it though, and I received some PMs asking for it to be made public again which is why it's posted. Different flavor profile preferences for everyone I suppose! Hopefully this one suits yours Shane.
Started vaping this one and really like it, I kinda forgot and went off custards a bit, then found this in my cupboard, tried it, and have been re-converted, this stuff is very tasty and I would definitely make it again, thanks for the recipe dude!
Yikes!! Loved this last time I made it and Im needing a good caramel Custard like right away but out of Original caramel. I have plenty of DDL, salted, and candy caramels though. Any suggestions?!?
Hey guys, i am missing Caramel Candy (TPA) and looking for some tobacco flavor too, so i will add 1% Bavarian Cream (TPA) and 1% RY4 Double (TPA) and see what happens...
mixed this an all I can say is I LOVE IT. great caramel and custard flavors. I let it steep for 2 weeks and have not put it away yet. I have another set away that has about a month steep going. This first bottle taste better every day. Great Job TWO
Only had Carmel Candy,so I used 1.80 ml. of that. Then I took someones suggestion, and added .9 ml. of French Vanilla.Just let it steep for 24 hrs. and it is awesome! Can't wait to try it in about another 12 days.Kudos to you my friend! Great and simple, but very delicious. Thanks for sharing. :)
Zugs, the flavor should only intensity as time goes on so something seems off. As for more vanilla taste, if you really feel this recipe needs it, you could try using butterscotch (like FW Butterscotch Natural) instead of caramel. Or you might have some luck adding in 1-2% MF Vanilla.
Come to think of it, I’d just make the other recipe I posted called Imperial Butterscotch. I find that recipe to be way better than this one. First World Custard is also another similar one to this that I find is just much better than this one.
Thanks for your quick answer TWO. Hope it will get more taste in the next few weeks. I wonder only, because some cooments here say its good with short steeptime. Maybe its because iam a MTL-Vaper.
I made a few of your recipes and all i enjoyed, like both versions of your "First World Custard".
Cant make the Imperial Buttescotch until now, because cant get Butterscotch(natural) here in Germany. I have only standard FW Butterscotch & FW Butterscotch Ripple, FA Butterscotch, FLV Butterscotch and LA Butterscotch. Can u offer me a way to sub the natural Butterscotch?
You certainly sound like a caramel/butterscotch fan like myself. If you can access Medicine Flower flavorings, just pick up their Butterscotch and mix it up at 1%. I also add MF Caramel to it at around 0.2% for more awesomeness (not necessary.) Makes mixing much easier without sacrificing flavor!
Delicious recipe. I subbed for cap vanilla custard v1. Awesome stuff. Im leaving to visit family next week and just made a 120ml to take to my cousin. 5 stars.
Made this and let it steep for a month. It was fantastic.I l love carmel, and I love custard. The best of both worlds right here. Now if I can figure out how to squeeze in some coconut somehow,as I love coconut to.Thank you! Great juice! easy 5 stars from me :)
I mixed this without Caramel Candy, added 0.75%,FA Caramel, 1.5% French Vanilla and 2% Vanilla Whipped Cream. Good. But I think with some Butterscotch and Vanilla Swirl it would taste teally nice. Also I'll lower the percentages of the Vanilla Custard to 6% or 5% (vaping on the Crown 4 w. mesh coils). This recipe may be old but it's still very good and also really versatile (can be used in bakeries and with fruits like apple/caramel apple or pear; peach would also work fine). Thanks for sharing.
To all the pepper tasters (TFA vanilla custard): Try INW Custard! Short steeper, 3-5 and it's good to go. Very nice, flavorful custard with body and mouthfeel. Not overly sweet, not that much vanilla, just a full flavored custard. Works in many combinations...
This looks very tasty. I'll leave out the Caramel candy and instead add FA Almond (perhaps making a second batch with hazelnut and Vanilla Cupcake from CAP). Also, using Toasted Marshmallow could improve the caramel note. I'll see...
@ThirdWorldOrder Since this is pretty much the best caramel custard on the planet I would like to sub in FA Premium Custard but I don’t know what percent to use can you help? I’m really Diggin the FA premium custard would like to know how to sub it in place of other custards out there!
Made a 10 ml batch and let it steep for two weeks and it was excellent. I now have a 30 ml batch steeping to make sure nothing has changed. This is as good or better than the Caramel Custard I have been buying.
@ColonelRebFan I would start at 3% and add as you need after a weeks steep. 3-4% is the average median used for FA premium custard in recipes. Or try 3% FA Premium with 1% Inawera Custard.
Bare minimum, a week I’d say. After that it’s just patience for payoff. Sweet spot probably around 3-4 weeks but like always, taste is an individual thing.
This recipe has steeped, & now it smells so good I wish I could put a straw in & drink it.....of course I wouldn’t do that! It smells scrumptious & is very smooth!
I hope you never get tired of hearing this but this is still one of the most amazing recipes on here and I'm back to vaping it full time again and I haven't picked it up in almost 3 years so thank you again for making a classic mix that will last!!
cream(tpa) and 1%super sweetner(tpa) as I don't have sweet cream. I wasn't wowed as a SnV after an hour on the heated stir plate, tasted again at the 4 day mark and felt it lacked a little sweetness and had a hint of burnt Caramel....
After a week wow! It's so damn tasty. Shame I only made 30ml, now I need to make a bigger batch and wait for it to steep.
I leave out TFA Caramel Candy and used 6% TFA Caramel (Original). Since I didn't have TFA Vanilla Custard, I used the same percentage of CAP Vanilla Custard. It's very good. Thank you.
This is my new favorite diy adv!
the combination of the two caramels makes this recipes legendary!
Best caramel juice i ever vaped, Thank you
