Notes
I let this steep for 1 month and it is fantastic!! Very creamy creme anglaise flavor with hints of nugat throughout. This makes the perfect base for fruits or whatever ya like or vaped as is

A floating island is a European dessert of French origin, a dessert consisting of meringue floating on crème anglaise. In this case I subbed Nugat

#2 by Whiterose0818, Nov 26. 2015, 04:53
I'm waiting on the gelato to get here...*finger strum*
#3 by DarthVapor, Nov 26. 2015, 09:28
Hehe, Do you have everything else for this whiterose?
#4 by LordVapor, Dec 5. 2015, 01:30
Wow, I can't wait to vape this! I have to get a couple of these flavors, but I am happy to see someone using Nugat! I ordered that awhile back for something I have in mind for it. Hoping it is going to give the flavor I expect from it.
#5 by Amy***, Dec 5. 2015, 03:12
I have this one hearted for when I mix again !!
#6 by Whiterose0818, Dec 5. 2015, 13:49
oh man, i'm just now seeing this comment...yes, i have everything now, just gotta free up some time...i definitely have this faved to make...i will post a report!
#7 by Olson1917, Dec 9. 2015, 02:20
Sadly I do not have most of these flavors :(
#8 by Amy***, Dec 9. 2015, 17:07
I need to make this today.
#9 by Amy***, Dec 9. 2015, 17:09
How is the Vienna cream at 3.2 % Darth ? That's a helluva lot of it but I tend to push flavors out of their boundaries as well that how you find out it can handle it !
#10 by DarthVapor, Dec 9. 2015, 17:19
Trust me it works ;-) I usually stay around 2-2.5 but I have a few higher ones like this that work great!
#11 by Amy***, Dec 9. 2015, 21:22
I trust ya ! I'll do it up later. We're running around Portland today.
#12 by the_method, Dec 19. 2015, 12:23
Another really nice one. Only steeped overnight so far but already showing a ton of promise. Doubt I'll manage a month steep, going to have to mix another one ;-)

Have you tried any fruits with it? Was thinking of INW blueberry, cherry or raspberry. Maybe even shisha strawberry.
#13 by DarthVapor, Dec 19. 2015, 12:28
Actually I originally made this as a cream base for fruits, I have yet to actually do it though haha
I kinda was liking it as is =-)
#14 by Amy***, Dec 19. 2015, 15:19
So what fruit are you entertaining to put in here ? Mines steeping.
#15 by DarthVapor, Dec 19. 2015, 15:22
I didn't have anything in mind exactly. I believe originally I was going to do something with fig but that's how Figasm was born...
I'm thinking something that is NOT the norm, like SB, BB, etc....
Pretty sure you can't go wrong with anything though
#16 by the_method, Dec 19. 2015, 15:33
I have a feeling apricot could work. That's what I'm trying first :-)
#17 by DarthVapor, Dec 19. 2015, 20:36
I think you're right on that one! If you make it, let me know how it is!
#18 by Amy***, Dec 19. 2015, 22:07
I may try FLV's new chocolate ?
#19 by LordVapor, Dec 25. 2015, 21:09
I sat here vaping on this bottle you sent me before coming here to see what was in it. I was testing my skills at figuring out a recipe for a juice. I could taste the cookie that I know so well. And the vienna cream. And the vanilla comes through great in this. So glad I just got the Shisha Vanilla! But I was having a hard time guessing the other flavors. This is very, very, very good. It's by far the best creamy vape I have tried yet. Thanks!
#20 by LordVapor, Dec 25. 2015, 21:12
I know I read this recipe before, but trust me when I say I have slept since then. The Vienna cream in this is spectacular Amy!
#21 by Amy***, Dec 26. 2015, 04:14
Then LordVapor I am glad I didn't put any fruit in it yet. Darthvapor was going to get back with us to if he decided to do so but I don't like to mess too much with other ppl's recipes. If I decide I'll let y'all know thou.
#22 by LordVapor, Dec 26. 2015, 12:02
Make it as is just to try it. But I am with Darth on this one. I am still vaping it. It's very good, but I can see where this would be a good base for lots of recipes to build on. Look out UM base. This one is just better. I am going to throw some pineapple at this one and see what I get. I may even sub in or add some LA Cream Cheese Icing, but I haven't used that one yet as it just arrived Thursday. Blueberries, Strawberries, all the lucious fruits are all going to be steller in this. The cookie in this is perfect. I haven't mixed higher than 2.25% with cookie so this shows me it can go higher and be great. But even by itself, this is a very flavorful mix of creams unlike any I have tried yet. So, so good!
#23 by Amy***, Dec 26. 2015, 12:46
Mines still steeping. I'll try it at a month !
#24 by Sleepy, Jan 6. 2016, 14:01
Hello fellow vapors what does it mean "all flavorings @1 SG"? Thanks
#25 by Sleepy, Jan 6. 2016, 14:20
Since you have such a palate and imagination regarding flavors I have a question for you. I use Flavour Art Custard and usually add some of several vanillas I have with Madagascar (Vanilla Classic) - Flavour being the truest IMO, how much would you add to the mix to make the Custard -FA equal the Vanilla Custard?
#26 by DarthVapor, Jan 6. 2016, 19:26
Hiya Sleepy!

I don't mix using the ELR calculator, I mix using something completely different and I also mix by weight. I use 100% VG nicotine and the specific gravity (SG) is 1.26 grams=1ml.
This is the only time I use any SGs and the window of difference on the flavorings is so small in the majority of cases, I just use 1 SG across the board.

There are people who use flavoring's SGs when mixing and if they did, the results would vary.

Thank you for the compliment man! Appreciate ya! I'm not sure what Vanilla custard you mean in regards to adding FA VC
#27 by Amy***, Jan 10. 2016, 09:42
I love this flavor it is so creamy and milky oh my it's good. I can see why you say it can easily be a base to what ever you want to fill in the blank with ! I happen to be vaping some and then had some juice after wards that had Cinnamon danish swirl Caps in it and WOW just having a lil bit of that in there is Magic. I will certainly make a larger batch and add something special to it. I don't think it will be a chocolate like I originally thought. Most likely it will be a fruit...maybe Golgi berry or Black Currant something out of the ordinary. Thanks 4 the share.
#28 by Amy***, Jan 10. 2016, 09:46
LOL I am such a science nerd. I meant Goji berry ......Golgi apparatus is a cellular component in our bodies. Ok so yes I will adapt and use Goji berry at probably 1% it's pretty bold.
#29 by DarthVapor, Jan 10. 2016, 19:03
I have about 8 adaptions steeping right now. A floating apricot, floating peach, etc etc. I will post them if they are as good as I hope!!
#30 by Amy***, Jan 10. 2016, 19:20
I'm sure they will be. I wanted to do the apricot but I figured I'd wait and see how yours turned out. It is so good thou. I took my month old batch and put the goji berry in it last night then just heated it really quick like 15 minutes and let it sit over night and was getting ready to try it in a minute.
#31 by DarthVapor, Jan 10. 2016, 19:31
I want Goji Berry!!! lol
#32 by Amy***, Jan 10. 2016, 19:45
You would like it. It is even better than Acai ever could be. It's good with the goji in it. I only put 1% in there last night so it'll get better with some time but it's defiantly good right now with only 1 nights steep ( in the month old batch that is )
#33 by DarthVapor, Jan 10. 2016, 20:56
Who makes that one?
#34 by MysticRose, Jan 16. 2016, 08:43
I don't have the INW Nugat or Vanilla Shisha. Do you think FA Torrone and either FA Madagascar Classic or Bourbon Vanilla would give similar flavor profiles? Or are they completely different? Thanks for the recipe and the help 8-)
#35 by LordVapor, Jan 17. 2016, 21:26
Goji Berry sounds wicked good to try in this! I am trying FA Mango and some Shisha Strawberry in it (two separate batches). I still have a few weeks for mine to steep before trying to add some flavors to it. But I pull out a test vape every few days. My 8oz bottle of this is going to be a 4oz bottle by the time it steeps all the way.

@MysticRose - You really need to try Shisha Vanilla. It is an absolute must-have flavor. You can mix it with just about anything and get a killer creation. It is one of my top 5 flavors along with Shisha Strawberry.
#36 by MysticRose, Jan 17. 2016, 22:11
Ok, if you insist ;) I just put it in my cart, along with some others everyone was raving about on the forums, like Flavorah Custard. I'm a custard lover, and caln't wait to try it by itself and in combination with TPA and CAP V1. And INW Cactus, sounds intriguing. I'm going to wait until the order is here to try this one, sounds yummy! Thank you again.
#37 by DarthVapor, Jan 17. 2016, 22:13
The shisha vanilla is kind of on it's own, as far as vanillas go BUT IMO it's similar to a vanilla pudding. Anything close to that would work and I'm sure Torrone will too. When I say it will work, I mean you more than likely result in a good juice, just not the exact same juice as this.
#38 by Sleepy, Jan 23. 2016, 21:11
Hello DarthVapor,
The Flavorah Custard is very rich for my budget, Bull City Vapor has it for $7.49 for 15 mls. Have you tried FlavourArt (FA) custard, nice flavor, none of the bad stuff and reasonably priced?
Regarding the Nuget-INW this is a chocolate nouget is this what you used?
I don't have a scientific scale but have a fairly accurate kitchen scale that measures grams in your opinion would this be a better way to do my mixing? I have been using syringes.
Thanks Darth,
Candice (Sleepy) the narcoleptic.
#39 by Sleepy, Jan 23. 2016, 22:08
Darth,
I found the white nouget-INW. When you have a few minutes let me know about making the juice measuring weight vs. volume.
Thanks,
Sleepy
#40 by CarrieVapeZ, Jan 25. 2016, 19:03
So i made this two weeks ago and i am going to force myself to wait another two weeks before i try it. Anticipation is killing me !!!
#41 by DarthVapor, Jan 25. 2016, 19:11
Sleepy, I need a little more info from you first. Do you use VG, PG, both? Is your nic 100% vg? 50/50?
I ask this because I need to know the SG. The SG on vg is 1.26 and that's what I use and you can see it reflected in the calculator above

Carrie that's the one thing I hate about making juices...the wait!! I'm a horribly impatient man haha
#42 by MysticRose, Jan 25. 2016, 22:41
@Carrie....me too. Except I had to order and wait for the Shisha Vanilla to get here, so mine only has a 3 day steep. I've got almost a month of anticipation to go...I'm so jelly ;) I know it will be worth it though :)
#43 by CarrieVapeZ, Jan 25. 2016, 23:34
The shisha held me up too but I'm glad i bought it. I mixed that up right away SFM and it was soooooo yummy. At the moment it's my favorite vanilla !!!
#44 by DarthVapor, Mar 10. 2016, 11:22
I love the Vanilla Shisha!! Good stuff!
For those of you who like this juice, you NEED to give "The 18" a try!! It's like floating on steroids haha
#45 by CallMeTut, Mar 14. 2016, 23:29
As a creamy base this turned out very nice! I'm vaping some that was mixed on or about the day after Christmas, and it has a great mouth feel and no bite at all. I'm guessing the slightly heavy weight I feel on the back of my tongue after the exhale is from the nugat. I haven't seen any of the reviews of this after anyone added fruits, I'm still interested in seeing what results people came up with and if sweeteners were needed besides just the addition of the fruit.
#46 by Lars, Apr 29. 2016, 01:21
Very impressive, smooth and rich mix. I just popped open a two month old bottle of this, and it's delicious!
#47 by DarthVapor, Apr 29. 2016, 03:19
All I can say is, you like this...try the 18 ;)
#48 by KG3D, Jul 31. 2016, 02:07
I loved my first 30ml batch so much, I have since finished a 60ml and now have a 120ml bottle in the steeping box. Thank you very much for this gem.
#49 by DarthVapor, Jul 31. 2016, 11:26
It's good stuff, I always keep a 120 on hand too :) Thanks a lot!
#50 by wazu7, Sep 11. 2016, 05:02
I keep coming back to this one. Love it. Great job Darth!
#51 by DarthVapor, Sep 11. 2016, 05:16
Thanks man! I actually just literally got done making a bottle of this! I haven't had it in months and thought I would come back to it :) Since I had all the flavors pulled down to make it, I made a few variations too...fingers crossed! Thanks again!
#52 by M1k3, Oct 23. 2016, 12:48
Why is Nougat spelled wrong in the recipe? "Nugat" is not a word. PS this looks really yummy. Gonna order Nougat today!
#53 by MysticRose, Oct 23. 2016, 13:11
Did you intend to sound that rude, or did you not realize how you sounded with that comment?
#54 by M1k3, Oct 23. 2016, 13:17
Sorry if that came off as rude. I was just wondering why "Nugat" has more recipes that the "nougat" spelling. Just curious is all. My guess is that it was a mistake but then people started following it because it became popular before anyone realized the typo.
#55 by MysticRose, Oct 23. 2016, 13:58
Yes, that is probably it. Most people pick the one with the most recipes when inputting the flavor in their stash. If you look at the actual recipes on the misspelled one though, most of them are DarthVapers recipes. So I'm thinking it was a typo when he entered it in his stash, and since most are his it shows more. The trickle effect ;)

#56 by wazu7, Oct 23. 2016, 19:54
@M1k3 NUGAT is what the manufacturer (Inawera) named it...
#57 by DarthVapor, Oct 23. 2016, 20:21
Yes I realize that "Nugat" isn't a word but that's what's on the label and that's how it is sold
#58 by M1k3, Oct 24. 2016, 08:32
Oh that makes way more sense! I should have done some better googling before I asked... http://www.inawerawinkel.com/images/products/medium/E-AROMAT-NUGAT-10-ml-536-2.jpg
#59 by Character, Nov 2. 2016, 04:45
What flavor % would you recommend if mixing a fruit so that it would not over power the mix?
#60 by DiyMixingWithBryan, Dec 13. 2017, 19:41
darth can i sub that nugat with something maybe torrone or something
#61 by DarthVapor, Dec 13. 2017, 19:45
Torrone is very different imo but I would be interested in the result. Worth a shot, just keep it low?
#62 by DiyMixingWithBryan, Dec 13. 2017, 20:08
what would u swap it with?
#63 by DarthVapor, Dec 13. 2017, 20:51
I would try torrone just to see what happens. It's been a while since I've had this but I would try that, try it without any at all, or play around with a light bakery.

Nugat doesn't bring that much to the table, that it wouldn't be missed I think
#64 by DiyMixingWithBryan, Dec 13. 2017, 21:34
ok ill look into it thanx darth
#65 by Zugmaschine, Apr 23. 2018, 20:11
I have mixed 50ml today, because it sounds so good.
Is it a good idea to let it breath some time, because the strong alcohol smell of the Vienna Cream?
#66 by DarthVapor, Apr 23. 2018, 20:12
I never breathe any of my juices, just let them step a week or 2 in this case. Keep all the yummy flavors inside the bottle ;)
Hope ya like it!
#67 by Zugmaschine, Apr 23. 2018, 20:34
Thanks for your quick answer. I have mixed it like your recipe calls. But why only 1-2 Weeks? In your notes you wrote 1 Month, or?
#68 by DarthVapor, Apr 23. 2018, 22:20
Sorry, I'm speaking of my mixes in general and not breathing them. I always give them about 2 weeks before I taste them. This one is prime at about a month but you can taste test at 2 weeks. Sorry for the confusion
#69 by Zugmaschine, Apr 23. 2018, 22:26
Thanks alot for your answer. Also my mistake. Iam a german and my english is not the best. But now i understand. I will come back in a monh to rate your recipe, but iam very optimistic that it will get good. Thanks for the recipe.
#70 by Zugmaschine, May 8. 2018, 12:39
Can i sub French Vanilla CAP vor Shisha, because i dont like Shisha Vanilla INW. And at what %?
#71 by DarthVapor, May 8. 2018, 12:44
It's worth a try? It won't be the same recipe but I dont see why it wouldn't be good. You dont like shish vanilla?!?! I haven't heard of that before!! Haha, this may not be for you then
#72 by Zugmaschine, May 8. 2018, 12:59
I thought i like Shisha Vanilla & holy Vanilla. but i made a 10ml tester from both Vanillas and they dont taste good for me ...
#73 by Zugmaschine, May 8. 2018, 16:27
I have a 30ml Tester in my drawer. Exactly with that flavours your recipe is calling for(Shisha Vanilla). I was asking for the next batch. But i will see. Maybe i like the Shisha in this/your recipe. :-)
#74 by DarthVapor, May 8. 2018, 19:25
I've never tried the holy, even though everyone says its "amazing". I have always been a big fan of the shish but I do use medicine flower on occasion. I started out only using Caps French, before I expanded my inventory. I haven't used it in years though and couldn't tell you why... I always liked it. Let me know how that works out for you! Thanks Z!
#75 by Eggsaladsandwichhead, Jun 23. 2018, 08:05
I had to sub nougat for caramel rice crispies, but even so this is delicious. One of the best juices I've tasted, bought or diy. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
#76 by DarthVapor, Jun 23. 2018, 11:20
Well damn, thank you. I've never had the rice crispies, sounds interesting. Good to know it stands up to augmentation :)
#77 by Eggsaladsandwichhead, Jul 5. 2018, 02:47
Whelp... that didn't last long!

So I'm making more and this time going to try Torrone for the Nugat. Thanks again for sharing your excellent recipe. I'm keeping my eyes open for Nugat, but in the meantime a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.
#78 by DarthVapor, Jul 5. 2018, 03:10
I'm not sure where you are at, but Bullcity carries it;

https://www.bullcityflavors.com/search.php?search_query_adv=Nugat§ion=product

Otherwise I know some other vendors that do as well.
Glad you like it with the adaptions! Thanks!
#79 by Dan the Man, Jul 11. 2018, 21:40
Ah HA! well, I am not really sure how I missed this one. Ya know, I never did buy malted milk. I don't like it to drink, so I never got it to vape. Anything I could sub it with? It's only .5% maybe I could get by without it.
#80 by DarthVapor, Jul 11. 2018, 21:55
Hmm.. there really isnt a sub and the shit can be pretty strong higher than 1%, but you can try it without? May be different but I'm sure it will still be good. Then from there you can add/tweak it with whatever you like, if you like it that is
#81 by Alisa, Jun 19. 2019, 04:30
I was sure I commented and rated this one long ago, but I guess not. I still love this recipe and remixing it tonight. Thank you so much for sharing this one @DarthVapor !
#82 by Eggsaladsandwichhead, Jun 19. 2019, 04:39
I also thought I came back to comment again once I got the nougat (which I did, just for this recipe) but I guess I didn't. Weird... So i got the nougat and mixed it up and guess what?

It's still great! :-D
#83 by DarthVapor, Jun 19. 2019, 05:11
Thanks Alisa! I need to whip this one up again. I vaped on this and a 1,000 variations and adaptations of this SO much years ago, that I took a break from it.(The 18 too) Both are so great and wonderful as bases or as is. Thanks for taking the time to let me know it worked for ya!

Eggsal-
I'm glad you didnt waste any money buying flavors, just for this! Thanks for faith! Haha
