Just curious why you went with two newer ingredients when most of the recipes popping up only have Danish Swirl, Fuji Apple and Sweetener in them? Was this version with Double Apple and Apple Pie found to be more close to the original?
Lot of hype on this ejuice. I never tried it, but hear much good. Receipt very simple. I plan to make a batch today and let it seep for a few days. I have on World Markets red apple, hope that will work
BTW, the original has a ton of sweetener in it. Mines does not. It will taste more like the real deal if you add it. I'm don't like how it gunks my coils so I left it out. Enjoy people :)
Thanks for the recipe! without steep already really good and close to muffin man. if the cakey/doughy part comes out more after a few days steep, it would be perfect.
AntsLUFC, how was it with Fuji Apple?
I made some this evening with 1% Fuji and 0,5% TPA Green Apple. I reduced the Cinnamon to 2% and increased Double Apple with 1%. I also added some Vanille swirl 1% and Vanille bean ice cream 2%. I want to taste like Apple Pie with a small vanilla taste. I love apple pie with vanilla ice cream melting on top.
This recipe have to much cinnamon for me, I like it to be in the background with the vanilla and the APPLE pie taste in the front.
Well before DIY I used to buy Muffin Man constantly.. This recipe is SPOT ON! With no sweetner it is still just as good and it doesn't gunk up your coils. Amazing job, much appreciated!!!!!!
I had to sub Double Apple with FA Fuji Apple and it wasn't good at all. Fuji reminds me of super sweet Apple juice and it didn't work at all. So I ordered Double Apple and holy cow, it's AMAZING. It's just about identical to Muffin Man. Just not as sweet, which is better in my opinion. Thank you!
Right off the bat it definitely needs to steep for longer. It's a little raw as a SnV to me. Whereas the previous recipe was good to go immediately, and just kept getting better.
Just to comment on this. Made a batch of the 'original' recipe (the one listed above with the 3 flavours) and good god it is AMAZING. It's only steeped for 3 days so the pastry is still coming through, but the apple on the inhale and light cinnamon pastry on the exhale is absolutely brilliant. Hats off to the OP, will be in the tank for the next month at least! Thankyou!
Tried a 10ml of it, its really good but i get a really strong cinnamon taste, even if i just took 0,4. Havent vapet it all the apple flavor is starting to get out now too, really like it!
Really enjoyed this recipe, TY for posting it!!! I didn't have Double Apple so I substitutted it with Fuji Apple and it came out great. Will be making alot of this :)
Hey there. This has probably been answered before so apologies if it has. But I struggle a lot with basic math so I wonder if the % ratios for the essence is the same even if the recipe would be for 120ml bottles?
I'm using the eJuiceMeUp software. And if anything needs to be changed I would love to get some feedback on it! :)
@PsyCLown. I had the exact same issue as you. I looked at my notebook and I actually had it steeping for 3 weeks. Not even a hint of cinnamon when I vaped some.
hi there! It's my first mixing so I guess I missed smtg. I mixed a week ago and I steeped till now. I just changed Nbase for %100 VG with 3mg nicotine. Smell is very very spot on but there is ZERO TASTE. I dont know why? Any ideas ??
The first time I made this I mixed 50/50 but didn't adjust the flavour percentages. Tried it again following the recipe and it's really good this time. Juicy apple with the pie and cinnamon in the background, it's a damn nice vape, thanks for sharing :)
I made this and tasted it 2 days after... cinnamon was WAY too strong. Luckily kept the bottle... tasted 1 month after and the cinnamon is nicely in the back and a nice apple with bacery notes infront.
I tried it SnV and the Cinnamon was too powerful. I let it sit for 12 days and just tried it and the CD is still too strong. I feel it overpowers everything else. I added .7% each of Fresh Cream FA and Marshmallow FA to add a creamy and smoother taste along with a bit of sweet. I'll redo it next time with less CD. It certainly has great potential, once I get it to where I like it.
Realy nice ADV imo, mixed 200ml of it so far, but lowerd Danish cinnamon swirl to 4.5% for the second batch and that was even better imo. Also mixed it as PG/VG-ratio: 20/80
Never had Muffin Man although this sounded good so I made up 10ml and it taste just like a McDonalds deep fried apple pie yum, currently have it in my iJoy RDTA Box 0.17ohm at 72 watts & it's well nice, great recipe.
3rd day of ateeping and cinnamon is a bit dry /harsh. I think ill mix at 70/30 next time and maybe through in some em or sweetener. However my vg is particulalry thick and isnt the greatest anyone have info on that?
Hi, kind of new on self making recipes, but what does" Nicotine juice 48 mg (100% PG)" mean, how do I get these? Is that a 100% PG base or is that PG base with 3mg nicotine?
I've used 540mls of Muffin Man from OHW and this recipe wasn't even close for me. It just tasted way too muted. What on earth am I doing wrong? Yes, I'm relatively new to mixing and I hate to say it but I've tried 10 recipes on this site and all end up being muted. I'm using a good scale and I'm using the ingredients listed in all the recipes but my stuff sucks. I tried this one after a week and it was all apple and so so at best along with being a bit muted. Now, 30 days later, the juice is quite muted. This was with 3mg nic and 75/25 VG/PG. I'm using it in tanks that I know are good.
Instead of Double Apple I used...
Apple (VZ) 4% (probably should be 2.5 to 3% but I like apple)
Green Apple (TFA) 1%.
Apple Pie V2 (cap) 1%.
It needs a few days steep.
So far, I highly recommend this recipe.
This recipe is fantastic. I have vaped Muffin Man since it was released, and love this. I do add a few drops of CAP Super Sweet, but it's great either way. Thanks.

How long have you been vaping ? DIY ? How long of a steep ? You using exactly same concentrates and same Maker in example; TPA,RF,CAP etc.... this one is straight (CAP) just seeing if it's exactly same
Got good Nicotine ? VG come from a very reputable vendor ? PG ? Gotta try to see if it's because you may be used to sweetner buying from retail E-juices companies. And now your getting what your palette isn't used too only sweetness is natural if any at all, I do believe.
Retailers dump sweetners in there mixes like you couldn't imagine. I'm sure by now since your post your probably a pro@ mixing and I should be asking you questions. Lol ๐
i bought the flavors only for this recipe and result is really good. i never had the original but after you mix this one tastes exactly like an apple pie/muffin with a slight bakery taste and strong cinnamon. after a few days more like a cinnamon candy with apple and bakery notes which is really delicious. also color seems to be the same with the original (as i saw on internet) after steeping.
I've never had Muffin Man but I mixed this up because it sounded good. I enjoy this but the cinnamon is a bit too strong for me. I've mixed up a new 30ml batch with only 3% CDS and bumped the Double Apple up to 5%. I'm really trying to get the apple to pop more and just have the cinnamon in the background. If I don't get what I want from this new mix I'll probably try adding 1-1.5% FA Fuji Apple since it seems to work well with other apples and gives you more apple "pop".
Additional note: The pie crust/bakery flavor on the end is very nice and I even get a very very subtle "buttery crust" flavor from time to time which is nice.
Tried with V2 aromas and works perfectly but my opinion you should add %3 sweetner. You can reach the closer clone. You dont need rest time if cinnamon disturbs you. After 3 days the mixture will be ready to vape.
Well Done! After 3 days of steeping it tastes just great. I had to use Fuji Apple instead of Double Apple. If I don't get more pop from the apple in the next week then I will know to add more. The rest of the recipe is very satisfying. I never had the actual Muffin Man, so I can't say if it's spot on or not. I will say that it's a very good recipe, and simple to make. Thanks for your time and efforts to put this up!
OK, I've just mixed this and the flavour is 'there', but it's very weak, in fact it's watery. Unless the flavour intensifies with steeping, which I find hard to imagine, I think I'll try upping the percentages to get a richer flavour.
This is amazing, I love Muffin-Man juice and tried your recipe changing Double Apple (CAP) to Fuji Apple (CAP) but keeping the same % for all, really spot-on after shake and vape, will see after few day steep, Thanks for sharing!
I just mixed up a batch of this juice yesterday, shook it like hell, and after sitting for over 24 hours, the juice is still cloudy. Is there a problem I should be worried about?
