Looking forward to trying this it seems there are not enough good butterscotch recipes around. I'm going to need to get some Shisha Vanilla (INAWERA) as I'm hearing really good reviews. Thanks for your contrbutions I really enjoy your Apple Bacco and Strawberry Shortcake Bar
Vanilla Swirl is no where near as strong or as clean and bright or creamy of a vanilla. You can always sub anything on any recipe, and it will probably still taste good. It won't be the same recipe nor the same flavor profile though. I would at minimum triple to quadruple the amount if you sub it to try to get the strength up there near it. That being said, after having finally ordered and tried the Shisha Vanilla, I highly recommend you order it, it plays a very important role in this mix even at low percentages, and is phenomenal in other recipes as well. Best vanilla by far imo over FA's and TFA's.
Just making this now, Wayne from diyordie said this is a really good recipe in one of his recent vids, and after reading your notes it looks (and smells) really good can't wait to try it! Will report back in a few days. I did sub vanilla shisha for ethyl vanillin tpa, but vanilla shisha is on the to buy list, I've recently brought a few of inw shisha range and I'm pretty impressed by them, especially strawberry shisha inw which is by far my favourite flavouring to date!! (I know that's a pretty big statement lol)
I saw a recipe that i thought looked good. Soul custardy from lediy.
Kentucky whiskey goes really really well with butterscotch. Check it out CM, maybe you can do something with those 2 flavors if you haven't tried that combo yet!
Made 50 back in Nov. Thought it was ruined after leaving in crock overnight, but another recipe in the crock with it turned out fine.
Steeped open 2 days, till the strong chemical smell calmed, then capped.
Tried at 13 days in the Crown 0.5π. Not good. Heavy chemical tatse and little butterscotch.
Tried at 18 days in the iSubV 0.5π. Butterscotch much more noticeable now, but something overpoweringly strong. Counted it a loss and placed on back of shelf. BTW, a drop on the tongue from the bottle tasted amazing.
Tried today, at 2 months, in the Crown, 0.25π, 44w. Now this is very, very good. Great balance. Subtle lingering sweetness. Sort of halfway between butterscotch pudding and those hard candies.
Lessons learned :] Next time will warm it, of course, much less, and let it steep Open much longer.
4/5 stars. Thanks for it.
This is definitely one of my favorites! Just started DIYing for almost 2 months now and I have to say that I finally found something that hooked me.. I'm going through this juice pretty fast.. Thank you so much for sharing this. Definitely a shake n vape. Congratulations! I love it!
.. Hello..
It's too Difficult to get the Butterscotch (FW) .. allot..
So.. Can I group both FA and FW into one type and make it: Butterscotch (FA) @ 3.5% ~ 4% ... ?
@Zak yes sir. But seeing as how the OP hasn’t commented on questions in almost 2 years, it would be better to just try it and see for yourself. I mean, are you really not going to mix this until the OP answers you? You might be waiting for another 2 years...
Rly suprisingly good. Cant stop vaping this one, its a part of my main rotation now. I tried with and without vienna cream (subbes for other cream), and it definitely needs the vienna cream lol
