Looking forward to trying this it seems there are not enough good butterscotch recipes around. I'm going to need to get some Shisha Vanilla (INAWERA) as I'm hearing really good reviews. Thanks for your contrbutions I really enjoy your Apple Bacco and Strawberry Shortcake Bar

This is a very good cream butterscotch. The vanilla accents the butterscotch very well. Thank you for sharing!

I'm about to buy all the stuff for this. By any chance, did you ever get to try FW Butterscotch (Natural)?
#5 by NotCharlesManson, Feb 21. 2016, 06:26
I'm an idiot and forgot to order it with my last order. Third scolded me for that.
#6 by Scrubinbubs, Mar 4. 2016, 06:14
I just ordered 100$ worth of juice but gremlin diy was all out of that vanilla shisha, do you think TFA vanilla swirl would be an ok sub?
#7 by MysticRose, Mar 4. 2016, 20:54
Vanilla Swirl is no where near as strong or as clean and bright or creamy of a vanilla. You can always sub anything on any recipe, and it will probably still taste good. It won't be the same recipe nor the same flavor profile though. I would at minimum triple to quadruple the amount if you sub it to try to get the strength up there near it. That being said, after having finally ordered and tried the Shisha Vanilla, I highly recommend you order it, it plays a very important role in this mix even at low percentages, and is phenomenal in other recipes as well. Best vanilla by far imo over FA's and TFA's.

I don't have FA Butterscotch. Leave it out, sub it for some % of FW Butterscotch Ripple, FA Caramel, TFA Caramel Original, sub for something else? :)

Just making this now, Wayne from diyordie said this is a really good recipe in one of his recent vids, and after reading your notes it looks (and smells) really good can't wait to try it! Will report back in a few days. I did sub vanilla shisha for ethyl vanillin tpa, but vanilla shisha is on the to buy list, I've recently brought a few of inw shisha range and I'm pretty impressed by them, especially strawberry shisha inw which is by far my favourite flavouring to date!! (I know that's a pretty big statement lol)

This stuff is so good. It is my go to butterscotch recipe. I actually prefer this one at 1.5x strength. Thank you for your wizardry.

Hi Is there any sub for Vanilla shisha?
#15 by JTC, Jan 22. 2017, 13:17
Looks good to me although I think I'll do as @KG3D does and up it a little for a bit of kick
#16 by K0LD, Jan 27. 2017, 13:53
I saw a recipe that i thought looked good. Soul custardy from lediy.
Kentucky whiskey goes really really well with butterscotch. Check it out CM, maybe you can do something with those 2 flavors if you haven't tried that combo yet!

Made 50 back in Nov. Thought it was ruined after leaving in crock overnight, but another recipe in the crock with it turned out fine.
Steeped open 2 days, till the strong chemical smell calmed, then capped.
Tried at 13 days in the Crown 0.5π. Not good. Heavy chemical tatse and little butterscotch.
Tried at 18 days in the iSubV 0.5π. Butterscotch much more noticeable now, but something overpoweringly strong. Counted it a loss and placed on back of shelf. BTW, a drop on the tongue from the bottle tasted amazing.
Tried today, at 2 months, in the Crown, 0.25π, 44w. Now this is very, very good. Great balance. Subtle lingering sweetness. Sort of halfway between butterscotch pudding and those hard candies.
Lessons learned :] Next time will warm it, of course, much less, and let it steep Open much longer.
4/5 stars. Thanks for it.

This is definitely one of my favorites! Just started DIYing for almost 2 months now and I have to say that I finally found something that hooked me.. I'm going through this juice pretty fast.. Thank you so much for sharing this. Definitely a shake n vape. Congratulations! I love it!
#19 by The_Ckemist, Mar 20. 2017, 13:31

#20 by JTC, Mar 20. 2017, 13:43

.. Hello..
It's too Difficult to get the Butterscotch (FW) .. allot..
So.. Can I group both FA and FW into one type and make it: Butterscotch (FA) @ 3.5% ~ 4% ... ?

Thanks..
#22 by K0LD, Aug 2. 2017, 21:19
@Zak Just try it ffs. 🙄
#23 by Geb, Aug 10. 2017, 16:37
anyone try this with FW Butterscotch Natural in place of FW butterscotch? same%?
#24 by SessionDrummer, Nov 29. 2017, 02:58
Nicely done. One of the better buttersccotches I've tried. Full, creamy, sweet vape, with just enough butterscotch.
#25 by DukeZaki, Jan 4. 2018, 10:51
@K0LD .. You need to chill and quit acting like a dick when Other people asks the author for thoughts or subs..
That's why we're ll here .. right .. ?
#26 by K0LD, Jan 4. 2018, 13:34
@Zak yes sir. But seeing as how the OP hasn’t commented on questions in almost 2 years, it would be better to just try it and see for yourself. I mean, are you really not going to mix this until the OP answers you? You might be waiting for another 2 years...
#27 by serialvapist, Jan 13. 2018, 01:19
@NotCharlesManson how long do you suggest a steep on this?
#28 by Geb, Jan 13. 2018, 01:28
in the reddit post with full flavor notes he said a two week steep is best.
#29 by serialvapist, Jan 13. 2018, 01:33
thanks @Geb
#30 by Geb, Jan 19. 2018, 23:49
Great mix - really tasty and an easy ADV. It does need at least a full two weeks+ of steeping in order to shine. 5 star juice.
#31 by pegasus, Mar 29. 2018, 00:41
I added more BS FW up to 5% and 1.5% BS ripple FW it still needs at least 2wks to steep but now I can taste the BS and it is in my regular rotation
#32 by Adam, Mar 31. 2018, 03:13
hi
please try to do Terkesh blend M.Terk
it is great ejuice
#33 by Dr_Vapenstein_, Sep 6. 2018, 02:02
Should I raise the % age up on the flavors to make this more a max VG blend. I find 70/30 vg to have too much throat hit
#34 by Dr_Vapenstein_, Sep 7. 2018, 23:08
Delicious
#35 by Mjonsrud, Dec 27. 2018, 00:17
Good day. Was wondering if it is like Royal Butterscotch from Royal e juice from the uk?
#36 by Keyzersöze, Feb 4. 2019, 19:11
Rly suprisingly good. Cant stop vaping this one, its a part of my main rotation now. I tried with and without vienna cream (subbes for other cream), and it definitely needs the vienna cream lol
#37 by HMoore, Jul 5. 2019, 23:23
made a 50 ml bottle a couple of months ago. It aged nicely. Really good juice. Made 100 ml today so I don't run out. Thank you for sharing!
#38 by Mowgli, Nov 20. 2023, 01:22
Still my favorite butterscotch recipe in 2023
