Just WOW! I want to add some sort of fruit to this! I have been in love with the shortbread for a long time, but all the other recipes were missing something extra, like a cream. This one has the butter and the custard cake, which gives it a nice cream. I wonder what powdered sugar would be like on this with like a strawberries and cream from CAP. Might make this, but I will enjoy this one for now.

Yeah this makes a Great shortbread base, that’s actually why I mixed it… but liked it so much as-is. Play around with it and let me know what you come up with 👌
