Inspired by this drink Recipe: https://www.decor8blog.com/blog/2016/06/01/recipe-gin-grapefruit-summer-soda
This drink can be as sophisticated or playful as you like. For quick and elegant, go with the basics and omit the fruit as the color of grapefruit soda speaks for itself. Fill your best glassware and the hard work is done. For a dash of fun at a summer BBQ, add a few of your favorite berries, strawberries, blueberries and raspberries work a treat.
This particular recipe uses Strawberry but you can sub out for your favorite berry or berries of choice.
Grapefruit Soda : Citrus Soda(soda base), Grapefruit Blend(the main Grapefruit flavor) , and Yuzu(for it's Grapefruit and lemony citrus notes)
Citrus Fruit Juice(s) : Lime Wedge(an option for real recipe that adds a dimension to mix), Tart Blast(bringing the brightness out of all the citrus flavors), Back Bar Bitters(for citrus pulp), Yuzu(to bring all citrus together with grapefruit)
Oh yes! A must try for this summer. You've summed it up perfectly, no need to say more? Even your pic feels refreshing and effervescent. Great job, AAFL
Wow (understatement). What in the hell have you created here ?
I've seen backbar bitters, and the gin used from time to time and down have them, but this one looks to be JUST the one, to motivate me into picking them up.
Cough , Cough a bit harsh ...This is what it says it is , the accent notes to the Juniper Gin taste reslly good BUT the Gin just dominates too much for me.I cant be mad at you Tim this was a brave mix and you did a great job. I am sure anyone who likes Boozy taste will like this. I want to take the gin out and taste the rest of this mix. As hard as i try to keep my personal preferences out of juding these recipes when it comes to profile likes and dislikes i am discovering it a tough task to do.
