This is a Strawberry Poke shortcake hence the name. The strawberry Poke style is more towards a lil debbie pastry or in between a fresh shortcake and a pastry shortcake. This cake is made with your standard shortcake cake but poked and filled with strawberry gelatin which tastes a bit like strawberry syrup mixed with frosting. It's then topped with whipped cream and strawberry shortcake frosting scrunchies sprinkled on.

In my experience with shortcakes, building a shortcake with the "standard flavors" is always gonna be lacking. You can't just put together a strawberry, a cake and a cream flavor. 99 percent of the time what happens is your cake will get completly lost and your cream will get muted from the cake flavor leaving a strawberry with a faint cream note. Whipoed cream flavir are generally emolsefiers. They do a great job and blending things but not great at layering.The only way to make a real shortcake in my opinion is to build each layerwith other flavors. Your cake note built with a light and a darker bakery and your whipped cream by getting it to a sharp frosting that can stand out and then tweaking some dairy into making the frosting become more whipped and milky.your left with a fully saturated whipped cream and a mind trick into thinking cake from the bakeries.both of which can stand up to a strong top noted red strawberry that becomes multi layered as it drips into the cream giving that second strawberry pink note

How I used my flavors:
To build a cake layer I took ultimate cake batter and tweaked more cake into it with the funnel cake. This let's the cake show up and not be overpowered. The 2 vanilla cupcakes start the frosting note as well as add to the cake note. I find combo of the two works well. To build the whipped cream and in the case of the poke style frosting bits I took the cream cheese icing to sharpen up the frosting from the cap van cupcake then tweaked it to get a lil dairy out of it making the whipped cream.with the merange and butter mill. For the strawberry layer I wanted that syrupy pastry type strawberry so I used the strawberry gummy and shisha. I then used the strawberry milk to give a layering of where the poke gelatin seeps into the whipped cream giving a more pink taste.

As a strawberry mute this one you should be able to taste pretty well.

I tested this in a elder dragon with alien v3 coil at 50w
