Working some more with Strawberries & Cream profile, I've come across this iteration and it's quickly become my favorite. It's a nice, pronounced, sweet strawberry blended with a sweet, semi-tart, thick cream. It's not cloyingly sweet, the strawberry isn't too artificial, and the cream isn't too heavy or overwhelmingly dairy.
The Strawberries -- TFA Strawberry Ripe, which most of us are familiar with, brings a good amount of sweetness, and a ripe undertone to your strawberry. FA Strawberry tastes like a juiced strawberry to me, and brings some freshness and authenticity to the strawberry. INW Shisha Strawberry is a very pronounced, smooth, almost creamy strawberry, bordering on an artifical strawberry flavor. All of these combined round out a delicious, pronounced, strawberry.
The Cream -- INW Vanilla Shisha is a nice creamy vanilla, that serves to really accent the creams. TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream brings sweetness, creaminess, and a bit of a brightness to the cream to really lift it up. FLV Cream brings a slight dairy note to the mix, while rounding out the creams and giving it some body. LA Cream Cheese Icing does a great job of providing some sweet creaminess to the mix while also giving it a bit of a tart punch to really take it in a different direction and wake up your palate.
The overall combination of the strawberries and the creams leave you with a sweet, complex, satisfying strawberries and cream that doesn't leave me searching for anything.
This is an absolute home run. I've tried at least a dozen Strawberry and Cream recipes, and this one is easily my favorite so far.
The creams are soft, sweet and full, with just the slightest pleasing zing, and the balance of strawberries is really top notch. Very fresh, juicy and bright.
None of the flavors are fighting for dominance, yet it somehow avoids becoming that monochromatic "pink" flavor that so many S&C mixes turn into for me. Magic!
Also, thanks for making me finally see why everyone's so in love with FLV Cream! It's one of those flavors I *want* to love, but I get a slight, unpleasant funk from even at 1%. NO evidence of that here! Just sweet perfection. Thanks for posting this!
This is deserving of more ratings. I am a strawberry cream connoisseur and have tried them all.. Lately I can't seem to taste the strawberry like I used to in my main s&c mixes, so I went searching for other recipes, and I found this one. I took a chance on it because I tried incorporating flv cream, ina vanilla shisha, and ina strawberry shisha into my signature s&c adv attempts and have failed. I tried this recipe an hour after making it, and smiled after my first vape, because I knew this is it. I no longer have to waste nic, pg/vg anymore to develop my s&c adv anymore, thanks to this guy. Unlike all the countless other s&c recipes I tried , this tastes the closest to a nesquick strawberry milk taste people try imitating. Again thank you for this recipe sir!
Don't often rate recipes, but this is the best strawberry cream I've ever tried!!
Even with only a weeks steep it is incredible....I can't wait to try it after a month.....I wonder how this base would work with say...blueberry?
Awesome job..and like the other reviewers..I can't believe this hasn't got more attention
THANKS
Grr. I have all of these except Flavorah's cream. I'm gonna try TFA Whipped Cream and see how that goes. I know it won't be exact but I still think it'll be quite good.
I just mixed this about 6 hours ago and al I can say is don't skip over this one
I have to agree with #Runtdastardly this is the best SBC that I have mixed to date. Keep up the good work #CheebaSteeba.
@diymixingwithbryan -- I personally love FLV cream and would only recommend FLV sweet cream in its place, but fa creme fraiche might make a decent sub here in its place. You get a very neutral, smooth & dense cream, with no butyric note and just the slightest hint of spice.
If you can find something like that (OoO milky undertone or something perhaps) then I would say it will make a decent sub.
I'm just now seeing this recipe.. so often a strawberry and cream recipe will contain capella sweet strawberry, which I hate.. but this only contains the few strawberry flavors i actually enjoy.. gonna mix this up after work today.
Closest juice I have ever had that comes close to Nesquick. I vaped a 30ml today. I gotta make the biggest bottle of juice I've made yet. It's for sure the best recipe I have ever made, and I have made all the S&C recipes. It needs to steep though. After 2-3 weeks it's so perfect.
@cincinnatiking Thank you! I appreciate it! And yes it definitely needs to steep a good while haha. I think the longest I've had a bottle last me was 1.5 weeks though! I will be making some bulk batches of this once my CCI comes in and I'm excited to try it after 3+ weeks
I take back what I said about needing a 2-3 week steep. I vaped this after 3 days, and it was wonderful. I'm still pretty new to mixing. I haven't made my own recipe that is bangin yet. I have been mixing every top rated recipe on ELR and ATF for weeks. All the S&C are the same boring old shit. This recipe isn't the same old boring shit. I have been sharing this recipe with everyone. Keep up the good work Cheeba!
I know at this point you must be sick of me big-upping this recipe at every available opportunity, but, I just HAVE TO share this anecdote with you!
This weekend I brought my travel set-up full of S.S.C. to a family thing and totally bagged my "white whale". My husband's 24 year old cousin is a passionate smoker, but was very, very curious about the clouds tooting out of my Nebox. I casually handed it to him, he took a few hits, and declared it "ridiculously delicious". At the end of the night, I left my set-up with him, and told him to swing by our place after the Sox game he was in town for the next day and I'd hook him up.
I boxed him up a care package with two set-ups, a bunch of kanthal and cotton, batteries, wraps & insulators, replacement parts, 600ML of DIY juice (Save your gasps, I'm not a saint! I discovered I was sensitive to PG, and where 360ML of my "experiments" were 30% PG, I was happy to find a good home for 'em!) and gave him a crash course on battery safety, mod usage, and coil building.
I have been wanting to convert him since I quit, almost 2 years ago. I kept saying to my husband; "He has the perfect hands for coil building! And he's creative!" but what I *didn't* anticipate was he's like... a flavor savant! After 2 hits of S.S.C. he said; "It tastes like a hookah." and I shouted; "YES! It has 2 shisha flavors in it!"
So, yeah, a super refined palate. And, a fascinating, eclectic mind. I'm hoping we have an innovative new mixer in our midst, but, I'm reeling in my enthusiasm at the moment. I have a tendency to overwhelm. ;-)
My point is; THANK YOU! Thank you for making the best Strawberry Cream out there. I mix up others all the time, but, none as consistently as yours. (120ML *every* mixing session!) YOURS is the one I use as the perfect example of a SC.
Be proud, every day, of this recipe. And be proud of everything you mix, because I've not met a recipe of yours that wasn't a banger. I wish I could up-vote you more than once, because you would get ten stars every day from me. You're the best, Cheeba. Stay gold! ♥
Well, I think I've left a review for this recipe on ATF and I know I've mentioned it on Reddit. But since I'm here.... this is the best strawberries and cream recipe I've ever had. I'm not the guy who mixes up every S&C recipe, actually I find most fruit juices overwhelming and I can't vape them very long. But this juice steeps info something totally delicious, with a soft strawberry that makes it very easy to vape all day. This is a good example of how balanced a recipe can be. I appreciate your efforts Chreba!
And RuntDastardly, it's time for you to release something as weird and amazing as The Glaistig...! Maybe your husband's cousin + you in a collaboration?
@RuntDastardly That's awesome!! It makes me so happy to hear that this recipe not only has a positive influence on some mixers but actually might convert people to vaping! I hope he gets in to it lol, the more mixers we have the better! I appreciate all the kind words =) Also, I only mix up 30mL of any liquid I make because I'm bound to get tired of it but this is the one recipe that I constantly have a 120mL of it going!
@lolwtf Thank you so much! I'm super glad you enjoy it =) And yes, the strawberry is more of a soft strawberry (good wording there, hadn't really thought of the best way to describe it), but still present enough to be tasted even when it's all you've been vaping for a few days lol.
@DiyMixingWithBryan I wouldn't recommend a sub here other than FLV Sweet Cream, but FA Cream Fresh or OoO Milky Undertone would probably be the closest.
I liked this recipe. I mix at max-VG, so it was a little light for me until approximately a month. Then it got real nice, but still just a tad light. I have since mixed it again, raising all flavors an additional 10% each & I REALLY like it! Thanks for the recipe, @CheebaSteeba.
I am missing flv cream and la cheese icing, thinking of making this with fa creme fresh and cap ny cheesecake. Do you think it would come close to this recipe or are the two flavors I am missing essential?
@mindtrapper
It will be a different juice, but if you want to do that, I would recommend FA Cream Fresh at 1.5%, and you will need to use the NY Cheesecake a little higher as well. It will still be very good but not the same. If you want to sub the Cream Cheese Icing for something else, do you have TFA Sweet Cream? Or any Yogurt flavors? Again, it won't be the same, but those might be a little better choice.
I saw this juice listed in a reddit DIY post titled "what juice do you always have mixed" or something like that. I figured I'd give it a try. Mixed as described except I had to make two subs - I didn't have FLV cream (it's on order) so I picked a random fresh cream (LB) and I didn't have vanilla shisha (also on order) so I used DIYFS holy vanilla. Even as a snv I can tell it's going to be great. I may post again in a week after it's steeped to see what it's turned into or perhaps next week when my missing two flavors come in. thanks for sharing.
I used liquid barn vanilla ice cream instead of vanilla pepper spray. i find Strawberry shisha too musky at higher mixes so used it @ 1%, red touch @ 2% and ripe @ at 3%. It's hust steeping so will let you know in 3 days.
After 3 days this is beautiful. A very well balance recipe. Excellent job. Have to hand it to you. I ended up using ripe@3 red touch @2 shisha @ 1.75. Really nice luscious sweet strawberry Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Respect
Cheebasteeba is a legend and it's a good mix, nice use of cream cheese icing but... I just can't take shisha strawberry though, it has such an annoying high note. takes over everything. So the Cheeba is awesome but shisha strawberry...blah. I give this 5 stars though. I know my friends will love it..For people that don't taste strawberries, you will with this one. I've mixed many of Cheeba, he's a 5 star guy.
Beautiful. Just mixed up my third 200ml batch, it has become one of my all time favorites. Thanks a lot for your time, talent and sharing CheebaSteeba.
This has been my all day vape for over a year now. Good Stuff.
But alas I have run out of red touch (more on order) What strawberry could I replace it with and at what % just to get me through till my order comes in?
this is a fantastic strawberry cream - but only when I drip it. I have at least one of every kind of tank but have been unable to get it to shine in any of them. any atty I drip it in - tastes great. tanked - not so much. anyone else experience this? what tanks do you find it taste best in? while I have probably a dozen tanks, 9 out of 10 times I'm using either a kayfun v5 or a single coil tank like the merlin mini or serpent SMM.
I tank this recipe here, but eventually had to turn up each flavor by 30%. I'm sure if I was dripping I probably wouldn't have had to, though. I am now pretty happy with it. It's a great combo, was just a little light in my Crown.
Ive mixed countless amounts of S&C recipes and this one is my favorite i wish i had found this before instead of wasting vg,pg,and nic fml!!!!!
thank you cheeba for this recipe when i do my vape line im going to purchase the right from you and name my juice after you lol thank you again!
have everything but CCI, damn every time this concentrate is in my basket, it manages to somehow get left behind and with all the hooha surrounding this recipe, its times like this when i really really need it......oh god i hate this feeling lol....any suggestions friend, other than the obvious....need to sub CCI but whats the closest move do yu think guys
Not sure this counts as a review but I'll leave this comment if it helps someone find a good strawberry custard... I mixed this recipe some months ago and enjoyed it. I mixed a bunch of 30ml bottles and then a 120ml bottle. half way through the 120 I got tired of it - which is common for me even on juices that I enjoy a lot. I did finish that last 120 and thought I was done with this recipe. I've never been able to find a good strawberry custard recipe (most of them are too strong on the strawberry and not enough vanilla and vanilla custard for my tastes). I figured why not turn this into a strawberry custard? I dropped the VBIC and replaced it with it 6% CAP VC V1. I bought the strawberries down proportionally to 4% total and left everything else where it was (16% flavor total). for the first time ever I have a strawberry custard that I actually enjoy. This recipe can serve as a base for all sorts of things I'm sure. I give this recipe another 5 star review for it's usefulness as a base for a delicious strawberry custard.
I should send you a check Cheeba for how much of this I vape. I have been vaping it since I made it every single day. Thank you so much! I have learned a lot trying to tweak this recipe. Best S&C on Earth!
I would have to sub the Cream Cheese Icing, Cream and also Shisha Vanilla. This flavors are not available in my country. I could use Vanilla Whipped Cream or the TFA Whipped Cream, Fresh Cream from FA maybe and Vanilla Swirl instead of Shisha Vanilla. But I'm lost when it comes to LA Cream Cheese Icing. I have never tasted tho flavor and so I've no idea what I could use...? Any ideas?
I dont mean to be the "can I sub this" guy but what do you think about hangsen cream in place of flavorah? Is it even remotely the same or should I go a different route, I dont have flv cream.
@Ruana you would have a 100% different recipe. I would try to make something you like with what you can get. FA Vienna Cream maybe for the FLV Cream. For the LA CCI I dont know what u could do. The INW Shisha Vanilla could be subbed with TFA Vanilla Swirl, but keep in mind your recipe will taste nothing like this one. it will probably be good though
@cincinnatiking, thanks for your response. I hate to be the person who asks about subs...no mixer likes that question...and I know that a recipe won't taste as intended if I sub flavors. Unfortunately I have no other option. Access to flavors is severely limited in my country (mainly cap, TFA, FA and INW). I had to choose between two possibilities: Not to mix at all (vaping pre-made liquids) or sub. Well, I won't give up on mixing. So I'll use CheebaSteebas recipe as inspiration to build my own and see if I can create something tasty :-). Cheers.
@Jbez Wow, sorry, I'm like a year and a half late. 4% TPA Blueberry Extra, 3% FW Blueberry, and .5% FA Bilberry. It's a little heavy on blueberry, but I like that way. I wish I got notifications when someone responded to a comment.
Magic!
