After tasting this recipe side-by-side with SJ Andromeda it seems like this recipe is missing something - a bit of clean tanginess that the SJ has. I'm thinking that adding bit a lemon would do the trick.

Did anyone ever sort this one out? Should I try this one or does anyone have any recommendations?

I made a 15ml test batch, loved it and so did my friends.
Making a larger batch now.

The tang that is missing is citric acid. I use a 10% solution at 2% of volume. I also drop the Vanillin to 3% and up the Pomegranate to 4%. That might just be a personal preference, though.

How important is the Vanillin in this recipe?
I was thinking of replacing it with Bavarian Cream but wanted to know if it would completely change the flavour profile.
Thanks

Haven't had SJ Andromeda in a while but this mix is very good. I probably should have let it steep longer but I couldn't wait.

4 day steep and it's pretty good so far. Might replace one of my ADVs in the future.

Love this juice - Ultrasonic bath for a couple of hours plus 1 week of steeping, and it's lovely! Big batch coming up! Thanks for the recipe :)

Is it supposed to be 65% VG? It says 100% PG right now.

I tried this exact mix and it was nice but, as others have said, it lacked something. So I tried again with the inclusion of 1% citric acid solution (10% w/v). It's ok as a shake and vape, it's a bit harsh on the throat at the min. I assume this is due to the citric acid needing a few days to relax. Overall, it's rather similar. In te space jam version I tasted a bit more vanilla, maybe even custard?

What's a good replacement for vanilla?

Made this with pomme (cap) and for some reason i taste very little at all. And It's been steeping for like 2 weeks. really weird..

I’ve been working on getting this closer to the real deal and I believe marshmallow is one of the key ingredients that’s missing. It works with the vanillin to add the much needed cohesion between the naturally sharp blueberry and pomegranate flavors. It also adds the sweetness that seems like it’s lacking a bit...that would take the place of tyr crap load of Sucralose the store bought prob has.

Add van swirl, marshmallow
