Soooooooo... Its time to publish this recipe!

I've been trying to DIY a Milkshake for ages. As you know there are hundreds of recipes out there but none hit the spot. I once tried a juice from Hemlock Vapes called Malted Strawberry and it was amazing! SO I wanted to replicate the thick creamy malt!

I started with a version of Fresh's milkshake but I kept getting a weird taste... I think from the vanilla cupcake so I ditched that and started from scratch.

First lets talk strawberry, In my opinion Sweet Strawberry (CAP) and TFA Ripe Strawberry in combination give a great strawberry flavour for this recipe. TFA Ripe adds a more authentic strawberry flavour and CAP Sweet smooths it out and sweetens it up a touch!

Next we will go into the milkshake cream base....

So I originally started with TFA VBIC but I've since changed it to CAP VBIC because I think its thicker and creamier! CAP Vanilla Custard again to thicken the mouthfeel! Fresh Cream FA and TPA Dairy Milk were added as they are some of my favourite milky cream flavours and they add a touch more complexity to the recipe.

Then onto the malted aspect....

I started with TPA Malted Milk but I find this flavour hard to work with its either too little or way too much. I was then trying to deconstruct what a malt milkshake tastes like... after reading a review of my reference juice a guy said it has a great biscuit flavour.... So I went with my favourite biscuit flavour TPA Graham Cracker Clear. This didn't work it was too flat, it added texture but not the biscuit flavour I was after... Ive since tried FA Cookie and CAP Sugar Cookie all to no avail. Then I tried TPA Cheesecake Graham Crust thinking the cheesecake aspect would just add to the thickness of the milk base and BOOOOM!!! it was the exact flavour I was after!

Some little add ins.....
FA Meringue was added to sweeten the mix overall

FW Hazelnut was added to bring out some of the milkiness! Ive read that somewhere on Reddit and it really worked! Subtile but noticeably better.
