Glad to see you posted this here

Glad to see you enjoyed this so much!
#3 by Ronge, Feb 28. 2015, 22:38
Made this the same day you posted it and it's really tasty now, three days later. Thanks!
#4 by Submoa, Mar 20. 2015, 04:02
Tried this with FW Cheesecake instead of CAP New York Cheesecake. Didn't like it. Maybe because of FW Cheesecake?
#5 by NotCharlesManson, Mar 20. 2015, 13:34
It could be. I've never liked FW Cheesecake myself. A little "footy" smelling. For me, CAP NY Cheesecake has been the only one I like in this recipe. I've tried the cheesecakes from TFA, FW, and LA. It just feels like NY cheesecake sort of....binds?...to the Sweet Strawberry perfectly for this. I've also recently tried adding 1% TFA Dairy to this, and it didn't turn out great. It seems like any slight percentage change I've made hasn't turned out quite as good.
#6 by Submoa, Mar 20. 2015, 15:33
@NotCharlesManson
It might be that. But I just tried it again in dripper and a plasic chemical taste is coming out. MIght it be the CAP Vanilla Custard V2 that didn't steeped enough?

It steeped one week. Does it need more?
#7 by NotCharlesManson, Mar 20. 2015, 16:02
Hmm..I've had luck an hour after a hot bath with no plastic taste. Maybe try dropping the cream fresh by half a percent? Then again, it might just be personal taste, unfortunately.
#8 by Anias218, Mar 24. 2015, 04:40
Think I could sub TFA graham cracker for the Capella graham cracker?
#9 by NotCharlesManson, Mar 24. 2015, 05:05
To be honest, I've never used TFA graham cracker. I've been happy with the almost-spicy cinnamon undertone of CAP's. Sorry I can't help!
#10 by Barnacle, Mar 24. 2015, 19:12
Try Lorann cheesecake.. ! Hands down best cheesecake flavor
#11 by NotCharlesManson, Mar 24. 2015, 19:44
That was actually included in my first DIY order I ever made haha. I do love it! Now I'm going to have to get it again. Thanks a lot..
#12 by Barnacle, Mar 24. 2015, 20:03
Hehe glad I could help ;)

I will try to find the ingredients to make your juice.. It sounds really great!
#13 by NotCharlesManson, Mar 24. 2015, 21:15
I like it! The slight lemony aspect of FA custard comes through after a couple weeks steeping. I don't think it's what Cuttwood is using, but I like the hint of it in my recipe.
#14 by Submoa, Mar 27. 2015, 14:58
Update!

After letting this steep for one more week (2 weeks total) I like it. I don't know the original Unicorn Milk but this thing is good.

I think the custard most steep. Now It's smoother and I can taste the strawberry. I like it.

Thank you !!
#15 by NotCharlesManson, Mar 27. 2015, 15:03
Woo! Glad you like it. I wasn't setting out to make a clone, but it happened to taste almost exactly like Unicorn Milk to me, that I might as well market it as such. Actual Unicorn Milk has less of a custard taste than this, but that's one thing I love about this recipe. Anyway..thanks for the good feedback!
#16 by NotCharlesManson, May 7. 2015, 01:20
Hmm...if you have them, I might try maybe 1% TFA Sweet Cream and 1% TFA Marshmallow in place of the 1.5% Cream Fresh. It won't be the same, and I haven't tried that, but it might do. I haven't used CAP Lemon Meringue Pie, so I can't say for sure. The Meringue isn't super prominent in this mix, but it definitely helps hold everything together, and I would suggest getting some anyway. It's one of my favorites!
#17 by Flux, May 28. 2015, 14:05
This is absolutely delicious, shake-and-vaped. I don't know what the real UM tastes like, but this really is good. My will-power will be tested on the next 30ml cure. Thank-you for sharing, NotCharlesManson!!
#18 by dielooted, Jun 2. 2015, 04:15
Delicious, gonna make a bigger bottle. Thanks for sharing
#19 by willchwn , Jun 3. 2015, 01:59
After a week of steeping this is really good...I made 12 different recipes in 30ml bottles and I have 3 empty 250ml bottle im gonna choice 3 of the 12 recipes to make 250ml bottles of and this is one of my choices.
#20 by NotCharlesManson, Jun 3. 2015, 02:59
Whoa. Thanks, will! And everyone else who has given any criticism. Thank you guys!
#21 by willchwn , Jun 3. 2015, 03:47
No problem NotCharlesManson I also have your cinnamon toast crunch as one of my 12 also I like it but think im gonna up the flavor a bit I like the flavor but not strong enough for me.
#22 by NotCharlesManson, Jun 3. 2015, 04:06
Yeah, it's definitely a lighter flavor. I've been playing around with adding 2% FW Yellow Cake, but it's still pretty light even after a week.
#23 by Robert Shaw, Jun 27. 2015, 02:36
Only got round to making this today. Ran out of sweet strawberry so just used the FA strawberry I have.I really like it.. Great flavour that's really capable of being an ADV. I don't know how it wil ldevelop when steeping. Thanks for the recipe NotCharlesManson
#24 by willchwn , Jun 27. 2015, 16:30
This is my favorite one I've made so far I made a 240ml and it steeped for 3 weeks...its good.
#25 by Zander , Jul 2. 2015, 05:15
I've been vaping on this recipe for a month now and have made over 250ml of it. This juice is great but even better after a week or two of steeping. I found the flavor percentage to be a little high so i lowered it down to around 15%. I dropped the Strawberry to 6% and the custards to 2% and the Cheesecake down to 1%. This was my first recipe that got me into DIY and i'm glad i came across it. Thanks for sharing.
#26 by FreeJersey, Jul 4. 2015, 19:39
@NotCharlesManson. Did you ever try this with the Lorann's cheesecake?
#27 by NotCharlesManson, Jul 5. 2015, 05:22
I never got a chance to. When I made my last order, it was out of stock. Didn't really feel like splitting up orders haha
#28 by switchover, Jul 8. 2015, 04:39
What could I replace the Custard FA with? Would more Vanilla Custard work, or using v2 alongside v1?
#29 by NotCharlesManson, Jul 8. 2015, 13:15
Hmm...you MIGHT be able to get away with replacing the 3% FA Custard with 2% CAP VC V2 and .5% CAP Lemon Meringue Pie, but be warned that it won't be the same at all. FA Custard has a hint of lemon/citrus in it, sort of hiding behind a dark pudding taste. While I don't think that substitution will take its place at all, it won't taste terrible. I haven't really found a better sub for FA Custard.

You might have better luck asking the guys in /r/DIY_ejuice on reddit. I would try asking thirdworldorder, returnity, botboy141, daath (Lars on here), or fizzmustard.
#30 by FreeJersey, Jul 14. 2015, 02:49
Finally got my order in from Capellas. Mixed up a batch, pretty good as a shake n vape. Looking forward to seeing how it matures.
#31 by LiftEngineer, Jul 30. 2015, 18:59
Wow! I never had the original but this is amazing. ADV worthy.
#32 by NotCharlesManson, Jul 30. 2015, 20:02
Thanks! It's a little different than the original. The FA Custard gives it a little citrus zing, and it's a tad creamier.
#33 by FreeJersey, Jul 30. 2015, 20:13
A little update, I made 250ml and started using it after 2 days. It was good from the beginning, but really great after about 10 days. Definitely need to make more, just out of cap strawberry. I'll be placing an order soon. Has anyone tried other strawberry flavors? I have tfa regular and ripe, as well as inerwa shish.
#34 by NotCharlesManson, Jul 30. 2015, 20:23
I don't think Ripe would be as good. It has a lot of maltol in the flavoring already, and it may be overwhelming along with everything else, making it seem dull. TFA Strawberry might be a good contender, but I haven't experimented with it in this recipe. I haven't tried INW Shisha, so I wouldn't be of any help with that. Out of those, I say try TFA Strawberry at around 4-6%.
#35 by FreeJersey, Jul 30. 2015, 20:26
Thanks. The shisha strawberry would probably overpower the whole recipe.
#36 by Bongo, Aug 9. 2015, 19:02
Hi NotCharlesManson, Is there anything I can sub the FA custard for ?. I have quite a few of custardy type flavours, just not that one.
#37 by NotCharlesManson, Aug 9. 2015, 22:29
See my comment above (#29).
#38 by KeggsNA, Aug 15. 2015, 22:22
Made this exact recipe. After a week of steeping and at 460F all I taste is the Graham Cracker. It caught me by surprise when I first tried it, as I didn't remember what actually went into the recipe. After revisiting, it's definitely the Graham Cracker. Does additional steeping help calm it down a little, I'm hardly tasting the strawberry.
#39 by Bongo, Aug 19. 2015, 04:38
Ended up making this with FA vanilla custard and Cap Graham cracker v2 with 70% vg and it's very nice. thanks for the recipe.
#40 by ArgoVaper, Aug 20. 2015, 06:00
I'm a huge strawberries and cream fan and this is my favorite so far. Great job.
#41 by Biff Tannen, Aug 24. 2015, 00:20
I'm also having the problem KeggsNA described. Been steeping a week and it just tastes like a strawberry flavored Graham cracker. How long does it take for the creamy notes to come out?
#42 by ThirdWorldOrder, Aug 25. 2015, 03:16
Switch your graham cracker from cap to TFA (clear) if you are sensitive or find the graham too overpowering.
#43 by Biff Tannen, Aug 28. 2015, 03:07
Left a bottle in my car in the hot sun for a couple hours and it tasted phenomenal. Turns out a little heat brought out the creamier notes a little more.
#44 by andygev35, Oct 3. 2015, 19:22
All I have in the way of cheesecake is TFA Cheesecake (graham crust), and I only have TFA Vanilla Custard. The rest of the ingredients I do have. Any recommendations for subbing these?
#45 by NotCharlesManson, Oct 7. 2015, 02:03
I would say try 1% TFA Cheesecake GC. I've never used TFA VC, so I can't really give an opinion on that. I would just try it at 3% and see how it goes. Or maybe make a few 10ml bottles with 2%, 3%, and 4% to see which one you like best.
#46 by YVRBrad, Oct 30. 2015, 04:08
Still enjoying this flavor but not an all day vape, too sweet
#47 by NotCharlesManson, Oct 30. 2015, 04:29
Yeah, I still have some set back for a quiet evening at home. Gets a little overwhelming all day.
#48 by John-King-200985, Jan 17. 2016, 01:06
Ahhhhh!!!! Can't get meringue anywhere here in the UK.
#49 by switchover, Jan 17. 2016, 14:07
try the Flavor Art site, i've bought it from there and maybe chefs vapour too
#50 by John-King-200985, Jan 17. 2016, 15:51
Will do, thanks switchover.
#51 by w00cash666, Feb 18. 2016, 04:24
@John-King-200985 Have you tried here?

#52 by BpalfZ, Mar 18. 2016, 02:05
Thanks for this one notcharlesmanson. I just realized that this was your recipe. Diy-ejuice the store where I get all my gear had print outs of recipes and I made this before off the sheet they gave me without knowing it was yours lol! I'd have to say it's my all time favourite juice and I have anothet 120ml with .5% raspberry brewing. Can't wait.
#53 by W0WZA, Apr 2. 2016, 22:48
I've got every flavor, except Graham Cracker.. fml. Always its the Graham Cracker missing :D
#54 by Richy25, May 19. 2016, 13:20
Hi NCM, and thanks for the recipe share, was going to try this soon, only one i'm missing is Graham Cracker v1 (CAP), would it be wise to up the NY cheesecake to 2% as a work around?

Cheers!
#55 by Richy25, May 19. 2016, 13:24
Oh I also don't have CAP sweet strawberry, can you recommend an alternative percentage for TFA strawberry and or strawberry ripe? I'm pretty new to mixing but would hazard a guess about 5% Ripe and 3% strawberry, sound about right?
#56 by Richy25, May 19. 2016, 13:28
ar #34 " Out of those, I say try TFA Strawberry at around 4-6%. " thanks, i missed that commenT!
#57 by Richy25, Jun 1. 2016, 09:27
This juice was beautiful even with my subs! Making more today!
#58 by Solace71, Jun 6. 2016, 21:28
Really like this. Used graham cracker v2 as its all I had. It is like unicorn milk. The FA custard is the key to this. Thanks for the share.
#59 by BpalfZ, Jun 26. 2016, 02:04
I put in .5 cap raspberry and it really boosted the strawberry but I'd probably do it at .25% instead.
#60 by A.D.V., Jul 10. 2016, 08:14
duper good! bright strawberry (with almost unnoticeable citrus zing) a hint of cinnamon, cream (strong but not sour), then a medium amount of custard. not too sweet for my taste, well rounded and balanced recipie. used TFA graham instead of CAP's cause i didn't want the extra cinnamon it brings. covers 8mg of Nic quite well. keep up the nice work and i look forward to your next recipie!!!
#61 by Richy25, Aug 12. 2016, 18:08
i cant vape anything else after this, its really fucked me over lol.....
#62 by NaKiLLo, Sep 24. 2016, 08:14
Frankly speaking I've tried most of the Mother's-Unicorn-Boosted clones and this is the one I've enjoyed the most.
#63 by Tyler Smith, Oct 2. 2016, 00:33
I made this and I have a pretty plasticy taste. Might change my coil and see if that's it.
#64 by QB's, Oct 2. 2016, 20:44
Hi NotCharles, im intrigued to try your recipe and was wondering if it possible to change the Strawberry with something else also fruity ?
#65 by Billy_Jean, Oct 20. 2016, 06:20
@NotCharlesManson any update on this recipe? I saw on reddit u use 3% tfa straw ripe and 3% sweet straw cap. Is it better?
#66 by Mmh1972 , Nov 8. 2016, 21:17
I give this 3 week's to steep and put in a fresh coil and was honestly very disappointed. the custard or meringue over powers the strawberry imo it's nothing like the unicorn recipe that gets high ratings...with all due respect probably the worst recipe I made to date...I won't rate this out of respect because I know you share great recipes
#67 by zspurlin, Mar 17. 2017, 05:04
I have everything but FA custard. Can i up the CAP custard v1 instead? If so to what % do you recommend?? Keep it up man your recipes are bomb!
#68 by Mandolarrian, Aug 14. 2017, 04:37
this is awesome
#69 by Aadil Arbee , Nov 25. 2017, 21:33
Can I use graham cracker v2 by cap?
#70 by MrRaging, Nov 28. 2017, 07:51
This isn't a great recipe at all. Very disappointed. Tried as a SNV and after 1 and 3 weeks steep. Gets worse the longer it steeps. I'll stick with Mother's Unicorn Milk by Alisa.
#71 by T-Bone, Dec 23. 2017, 00:48
Lol to each their own @ProablyRaging. I personally love it. I’ve made most unicorn milk recipes that are online and this is the only one that I’ve made over 5000 mL in the last year and a half. Great recipe!
#72 by 4 rings of fury, Jan 13. 2018, 07:14
@probablyraging You sound like an ignorant, entitled little child. Funny thing is, I’m willing to bet you would think twice about making such an a-hole comment if you weren’t hiding behind a computer screen. They wouldn’t have stated their opinion in such as if it’s a fact (“this isn’t a great recipe at all”). You’re either a spoiled little child OR an ignorant adult...or both. Next time you don’t like a recipe just move onto the next one. Pretty simple. All you accomplish by commenting the way you did is A) looking like a douche to everyone and B) making amazing contributors to the DIY community like NCM not want to share their recipes with the public.
#73 by T-Bone, Feb 19. 2018, 21:57
I think I’ve made over 5000 mL of this recipe over the last few years. I’ve made so many different ones and this one in my opinion is the best
#74 by MrRaging, Feb 20. 2018, 06:08
Wow @4 rings of fury, did I make you angry? This is a comment section where people leave their reviews. I left my review and apparently you got a little butt hurt, for a reason I'm not sure of. In my opinion, this recipe is garbage, it tastes like fermented fruit to me and people who have the same palette as I do will agree.

My comment/review allows people with a like minded taste sense to think "oh if he doesn't like the same tastes I don't like, then maybe I should look at what he has reviewed as a good taste because maybe I'll like that aswell."

In short, stop being a sensitive little snowflake and stop thinking you can police the internet. You're a nobody in the scale of the vape community, just like alot of the other people who commented here, including myself.
#75 by Teresa8536, May 9. 2018, 01:06
unicorn milk is still one of my favorites... and even though its one of my favorites, there are little things that I would do to that to make it more perfect for my taste.
I really like this clone version, but there are a few things that I may change... not because I don't like it.. but just for the hell of it... I am going to change the Caps NY CC with LB strawberry cc. Use FW gram cracker instead of caps... And I am going to change strawberries... I will try VT strawberry jam, with a different strawberry. Or maybe OSDIY succulent strawberry (waiting for it to get here) I never tried that one but heard some great things about it.
#76 by Kitticus Catticus, May 28. 2018, 20:04
What kind of flavors could I sub meringue for?
#77 by Ricky fava, Jul 12. 2018, 18:06
Unicorn milk was the first e-juice I've ever bought the day I started vaping 4 years ago Now That I Found DIY I'll never buy another bottle of juice again
