This is my favorite simple mix. I've made probably over 200 ml since you posted it on reddit. Thanks for an outstanding recipe!
#2 by Kebabzi, May 22. 2015, 14:05
Just mixed this one! Thinking about adding TPA - Sour to make the Strawberry pop, but if this is anything like Yaeliq - MM, I would be very happy!
#3 by soulBit, May 30. 2015, 23:34
Good stuff, nice and simple but it's so tasty
#4 by Shanfathi, Jun 9. 2015, 08:20
Bro is it okay if i use ripe strawberry tpa?
#5 by babayaga, Jun 13. 2015, 19:44
Very easy and after stepping for 1 week is absolutely amazing. Thank you for this simple but very good recipe. Easily added to my ADV. I made a 20ml batch now off to make a 120ml. Thanks!
#6 by dgnose@gmail.com, Jun 21. 2015, 00:54
This is the definition of Occam's Razor! Strawberry and ice cream. Just make it and enjoy. (Drops the Mic and walks of stage)
#7 by Exercyst, Jul 7. 2015, 01:32
This was my first try at DIY. This simple yet, ADV worthy recipe has not only made me love strawberry vapes but also now I'm not regretting the somewhat high initial expense of being a DIY'er. Thanks Fizzmustard!
#8 by kmpopsicle, Jul 24. 2015, 13:43
If you don't believe that a simple 2 ingredient mix can be great just give it a try.
#9 by Djvapes, Jul 28. 2015, 04:22
I added .5% koolada... We'll see how it turns out in a week
#10 by mjag, Jul 29. 2015, 08:45
Tried this with Strawberry (TPA) and it's good, second batch Ripe Strawberry (TPA) and liked it even more. Used Vanilla Bean Gelato (TPA) for both. Thanks for the great recipe.
#11 by Djvapes, Jul 29. 2015, 22:00
I'm getting a funky smell. Never used tfa vanilla ice cream. Does it smell weird until it steeped or something? The strawberry smells fantastic though.
#12 by altneurose, Sep 4. 2015, 15:52
I'm one of the pepper-VBIC-people, so can't vape this, sadly. The balance is otherwise nice. The pepper just dominates.
#13 by coralsands, Sep 4. 2015, 20:43
just tried with fw's vanilla bean ice cream, hopefully its still as good as the reviews here
#14 by trev, Sep 5. 2015, 20:31
Mixed this up and tried it right away but that peppery VBIC was just awful... now a week later it smells amazing and trying it out again it's great. Guess it just needs some steeping.
#15 by Umutucler, Sep 11. 2015, 11:55
WOW, that is amazing how good it is with this simple recipe!
Couldn't find Strawberry so I used CAP sweet strawberry and it is AWESOME!
Thank you very much for sharing this recipe. Very kind of you!
#16 by Lightfootkenny, Sep 28. 2015, 06:01
Can't get this right.. I don't taste strawberry tfa ripe and the vanilla bean ice cream overpowers it...
#17 by skengman, Sep 30. 2015, 11:57
Kenny, you're not supposed to taste Strawberry Ripe as it's not one of the ingredients.
#18 by Ghostza, Oct 1. 2015, 07:17
Made a 10ml batch with ripe strawberry and its awesome!! Thanks for the recipe.
#19 by EvilC, Oct 7. 2015, 01:06
Was running low on vanilla bean icecream so reduced it from 8%->6% and added 2% Whipped Cream (TFA). I only had Sweet Strawberry (CAP) too. Amazing!
#20 by Zeb, Oct 10. 2015, 23:28
Didn't have Vanilla bean icecream so I used 4% Vanilla bean Gelato (TFA) instead, 2% French Vanilla (TFA) and 6% Ripe. Gave it 3 warm baths (15 minutes each) with cap off and a good shake between each bath. Tastes great right after.
#21 by RayXor, Oct 12. 2015, 01:23
mixed this up the other night it definitely needs atleast a day to steep but its really good after that
#22 by ShaneB, Oct 12. 2015, 17:25
After 10 days or so, this stuff is a really easy yummy vape. The VBIC is too potent at first. I might adjust the percentages a tiny bit in the future, but it's easy and good. Just needs a long rest.
#23 by Lurifax, Oct 16. 2015, 23:33
To be honest, i think that the taste is a bit "flat".. The strawberry is a bit sharp in its taste which i kinda like, but I dont really get a vanilla ice-cream "sensation".. Tried up'ing the vanilla bean ice cream percent a bit but with no luck..
Any advices ?
#24 by Billy_Jean, Oct 19. 2015, 13:51
Is the PG/VG : 30/70 essential for the flavor? Or can I use 50 50 or 40 60 ratio?
#25 by danbrochill, Oct 22. 2015, 17:46
So I dropped the strawberry to 5%, added 2% tfa milk and used caps new vbic and it smells tricked amaze balls.lurifax, try adding sweetener and little em. Go 1% for sweet and .5 for em. The tfa milk helps as well for that nesquick reminiscence. if you try adding whipped cream or marshmallow you will get a better mouth feel. That with em should over all give you a more rounded vape.
#26 by danbrochill, Oct 22. 2015, 17:49
Just realized our strawberry is different..I used sweet strawberry.
#27 by Lurifax, Oct 22. 2015, 21:00
Thanks for the input danbrochill
Is this what you had in mind ? e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/301407/Mustard+Creamy+Sweet+Milk
#28 by danbrochill, Oct 22. 2015, 22:46
Yeah for the most part at least I haven't used the French vanilla from cap I'm assuming it's a sweetener though seems like a good revision though if the mouth feel or sweetness isn't quite there try bumping the marshmallow up a bit. After a hot bath and 3 days everything should mellow out nicely
#29 by Lurifax, Oct 22. 2015, 23:02
I think the French Vanilla from CAP is a bit more sweet than TFA's version, and i wanted to create a nice "vanilla sensation" with strawberry taste.. Think ill buy the flavours to mix the cutwood unicorn milk clone in here, and see how that works out, some day
But thanks for the input, it smell's really good allready
#30 by danbrochill, Oct 22. 2015, 23:13
If you have the means I'd give caps new vbic a try it's like their custard without the vomit. Lol that em will really mellow out the strawberry though I hope it's what you're looking for
#31 by Maureeenie, Oct 24. 2015, 13:43
Thank you for posting! (vomit lol danbrochill) I just started on sub ohm and found flavorings act different at high wattage. I had to knock down nic from 6 to 1 mg so quickly had to get some recipes to vape. This is not a shake and vape, it needs time. At first taste I would cut that Vanilla Bean down to about 4% maybe? That will be my next try on this.
#32 by Andy Miller, Oct 29. 2015, 20:06
This is my favorite ADV right now. I made 15ml yesterday substituting the Strawberry 6% with Strawberry Ripe 3% and TFA Strawberries and Cream 3%. Then added LA Cinnamon Roll 1.5%.

It was so good I bought more flavors and made 150ml today. This time substituting the Strawberry 6% with Strawberry 3% and Cap Sweet Strawberry 3%.. I added LA Cinnamon Roll 1.5% again. It's so good right now I can't wait for it to steep. I think for my next batch I will go back to the Strawberry Ripe 3% and TFA Strawberries and Cream 3%..
#33 by Einstein88, Oct 30. 2015, 23:30
I have the (tfa) vanilla bean ice cream but all have is strawberry ripe, would substituting be doing this mix a disservice?
#34 by Maureeenie, Oct 30. 2015, 23:38
@Einstein88 It might be better, it's worth 10ml of liquid to find out.
#35 by chinolofus, Nov 1. 2015, 18:54
took a bout a month of steep time to wow me.
#36 by Barnacle, Nov 3. 2015, 17:43
I dont have vanilla bean ice cream so i tried the following
Cream Fresh (FA) 1%
Strawberry (Ripe) (TPA) 4%
Strawberry (Veracura) 2%
Sweetener 1%
Vanilla Bean Gelato (TPA)4%
Vanilla Custard v1 (CAP) 1%

I doesnt taste anything like strawberry or vanilla.. Input anyone ? :)
#37 by Vapingbad , Nov 4. 2015, 16:18
Nice recipe
#38 by Maureeenie, Nov 4. 2015, 17:34
Barnacle try more Strawberry Ripe, like 6-7%. I think too much Vanilla Bean Gelato. Everything else looks like a good mix to me if you want to taste the Strawberry.
#39 by Andy Miller, Nov 5. 2015, 22:27
I finally got around to reading the reddit thread on this. There's a lot of good info there. - www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/33ns4t/mustard_milk_or_strawberries_and_cream_the/
#40 by Quacking Vape, Nov 7. 2015, 22:55
Pretty good for a 2 flavour mix
#41 by trebor, Nov 13. 2015, 19:32
I made this 3 weeks ago. Only made a 5ml test . Well, last night I tried it and made 60ml. This is a great recipe, thanx for sharing.
#42 by trebor, Nov 15. 2015, 08:01
Mine tasted like shit up until bout 14 days. Got better at 20 days. Personally this one didn't pass my shake n vape test.
#43 by GIGAMSX, Dec 8. 2015, 22:27
Fantastic mix simple but great 4 day steep and i am loving it
you got to have the right build i am using 27g kanthal twisted dual
0.27 ohm the flavor is rich and well balanced not for a tank but that's my opinion
thank you.
#44 by Disco Devil, Dec 17. 2015, 05:58
I have vanilla ice cream from liquid barn would that work?
#45 by WVS1980, Dec 19. 2015, 20:09
This was the first recipe I mixed. Liked it. Very convenient to have and easy to remember. Also, easy to start experimenting with other flavors. I subbed TPA Ripe Strawberry and it works better for me as a shake'n'vape. But the author here is right, when it comes to the full steep time. Thanks Fizz.
#46 by heliontide, Dec 29. 2015, 00:33
Just whipped up a 120ml bottle of this at 80/20. Just after a quick shake and letting it sit with the cap off for about a half hour, this smells and tastes incredible. I'm a huge fan of One Hit Wonder's Milkman, but I think I just found a replacement for it. Great ADV. Can't wait to try this after a good steep!
#47 by Leon Fly, Jan 2. 2016, 00:06
Any chance someone can convert these measurements to weight? I'm guessing that VG (Which I intend on using for nicotine) is denser than PG/Water therefore I can't do the ML/Gram 1:1 :( Thanks in advance.
#48 by mjag, Jan 2. 2016, 17:43
Leon. Here is a guide to mixing by weight and the calculator that is linked there is awesome: http://www.vapingunderground.com/threads/guide-to-mixing-by-weight.22891/
#49 by Awayze, Jan 9. 2016, 18:39
Made this yesterday and it does have a distinct peppery smell, not vaped it yet.
#50 by John-King-200985, Jan 16. 2016, 16:34
Totally flavorless..
#51 by beejium, Jan 17. 2016, 19:43
I mixed some a while back and all I got was a peppery vanilla taste and killed my wicks in a day. I reduced the amount of vanilla bean ice cream to 2% and it was better, but still not liking it.
#52 by Awayze, Jan 19. 2016, 15:27
It's pretty nice actually. Smells nice to.
#53 by Hilmon, Jan 23. 2016, 01:08
For such a simple recipe it works surprisingly well. I upped my second mix to
8% Strawberry (TPA)
10% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (TPA)
#54 by Dr. VapesAlot, Jan 23. 2016, 19:29
Hi. Made this recipe from the exact recommendations: ingredients and weight. First day was significantly strawberry heavy. By the 4th day it had calmed down to a very nice vape. Good recipe.
#55 by w00cash666, Jan 27. 2016, 09:00
do you recon it's okay to sub the CAP for TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream? I only have the CAP version...
#56 by Geffen, Feb 3. 2016, 18:28
This recipe is brilliant. I make it in 200ml batches. :)
#57 by Melodycd, Feb 5. 2016, 04:52
I made this 2 times. Steeping for 2 weeks. I taste pepper from VBIC. (((
I also contacted TFA for some recommendations about it, they told me that artificial Vanilla molecules they use can turn out as pepper to some people, and recommended to reduce VBIC amount and steep it for a month!!! Or if you need to get natural vanilla, try there Vanilla Bourbon. But any way now i reduce there Vanilla custurds and creams to 2% max and it is almost OK to vape for me. Hope this helps to all who are on my pepper side (((
#58 by ali, Feb 7. 2016, 14:45
I had to use Strawberry (Atmos Lab) because I was out of Strawberry (TPA) with the same percentages.
Steeped for a week.
This is amazing!
Thanks a lot man!
#59 by Hea1er, Feb 11. 2016, 20:35
simplicity of this nice mix, probably the strongest side )
#60 by RuntDastardly, Feb 12. 2016, 00:52
Mixed this one up and gave it slightly more than a week steep. Fantastic stuff! Looking forward to trying it with other fruits, but this is, by far, my favorite Strawb & Cream yet. Thanks, Fizz!
#61 by w00cash666, Feb 12. 2016, 06:49
I used CAP VBI and TFA SB and I just can't taste the SB...
#62 by Kerouac, Feb 12. 2016, 18:00
Very nice. I used strawberry ripe instead and turned out very well.
#63 by Crazii-P, Feb 12. 2016, 20:19
Has anyone tried lowering the % down on both or does it mute the flavour too much?
#64 by Dr. VapesAlot, Feb 12. 2016, 23:05
Crazii-P: I made the juice to spec and found that after a week or so of steeping no single flavor was overpowering. Tastes pretty good. :)
#65 by TheSuperVillainK, Feb 14. 2016, 07:30
I've been making this for a while and I love it. Lately I started adding 2% TFA Strawberry Ripe. It adds another layer of fruitiness that is very nice.
#66 by GoGoVape, Feb 18. 2016, 09:34
Good strawberry flavor after 3 day steep but probably will need some more time to bring out the cream
#67 by GoGoVape, Feb 18. 2016, 09:55
This is beginning to turn out as a very good base to work on.
#68 by iKON, Feb 26. 2016, 06:19
Had to make this with strawberry ripe still tastes pretty good!
#69 by Bob Ross, Feb 28. 2016, 16:03
i mixed 2.5% strawberry ripe and 2.5% of strawberry tfa and 1.5% sweet strawberry . very very good
#70 by m4rtian, Feb 28. 2016, 16:46
Delicious and simple.

Unfortunately I have to steep anything with vbic in it for at least 4 weeks otherwise all I taste is black pepper, same with cap custard. Luckily it is usually worth the wait, especially so with this recipe.
#71 by dsp, Mar 1. 2016, 20:18
For me it taste's way better if i use the capella flavors
i used sweet strawberry and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (CAP)
shake n vape realy perfect
#72 by JMFI, Mar 2. 2016, 00:02
I gave this a try, it's not bad ...but i wasn't impressed. TFA strawberry has a weird taste to it. Maybe with CAP sweet strawberry it'll be better(thanks /dsp)
#73 by atallcosts, Mar 4. 2016, 04:49
One of my first DIY recipes. Let steep for 2 weeks before tasting and its indeed very good. To me, it tastes better than a lot of the "premium" strawberry/cream ejuices I've tried. This surprised me being that its such a simple mix.
#74 by VapingBadUK, Mar 7. 2016, 22:52
Followed this to the exact recipe, two days natural steep and shake, and today speed steeped in hot water 4 times..... Just tastes like peppery butter with the TINIEST bit of strawberry?
#75 by Awayze, Mar 10. 2016, 17:32
Just let it steep naturally for a couple of weeks.
#76 by mjag, Mar 11. 2016, 04:43
If it got peppery you may have oxidized your nic with the heat. If it gets too hot that's what will happen, happened to me. After ruining 2 mixes trying to heat steep I now just naturally steep and have never had a peppery mix again.
#77 by 4 rings of fury, Mar 17. 2016, 10:56
Loved it for a while but the artificialness of the tpa sb eventually gets to me. I might just try a mixture of sb's next time to make the sb a bit more natural. As much as I love the taste of tpa sb (vs ripe) it has a weird syrupy or artificial chemically (hard to describe) bite to it that prevents me from using it as an adv. Unfortunate since I love the artificial sb flavor it provides since is kind of candy like to me vs ripe which is a little too ripe if that makes sense. Either way, still an amazing recipe for such a simple recipe. Takes skill to mix a few flavors and make te recipe amazing since it requires having just the right ratio and fizz is great at that. Either way, 5 stars from me and a favorite dispite not being able to vape it long.
#78 by dsp, Mar 18. 2016, 23:16
Need some help guys
I made this a while ago with capella's sweet strawberry and van. bean ice cream
Not matter what i try in my TFV4 it tastes realy bad (bitter taste) in my subtank mini its good
Is it because of the type of tank or subohm vaping that my taste is terrible

(recipe is great btw but said that some posts ago :D)
#79 by Jokurandom, Mar 19. 2016, 12:51
I used Strawberry (Ripe), because I was not able to get the regular strawberry. This does not taste like strawberries in cream, BUT this tastes EXACTLY like some hard candy I ate as a child. Absolutely love it.
#80 by Andy Miller, Mar 24. 2016, 00:19
Way to go Fizz! I'm liking this even better now than when I first mixed. Friends are wanting to buy it from me it so I'm mixing batches of 150 ml at a time now. I think it's great right after shaking. Steeping may improve it a bit but I don't think it really needs it.
#81 by Briggs, Mar 24. 2016, 05:45
Looks like alot of people are making money off your work fizz smh
#82 by heliontide, Mar 29. 2016, 09:10
This was the first recipe I ever made some months ago when I started DIY'ing, but I wasn't all that impressed with it. For anyone starting out, this is a great ice breaker recipe to learn how to mix with. Unfortunately, again, I found it rather bland overall -- made 3 separate batches of it with different nics to test them out, and they all were very underwhelming. I was expecting something close to OHW's Milkman or at least a strawberry milkshake sort of taste, which could have been a failed expectation to begin with, but still... I won't be making this again. It just needs a huge boost in flavour, sweetness, etc.
#83 by leirbag23, Apr 6. 2016, 04:55
Enjoyed it, it's very tasty but definitely too candy-like for an ADV. I was expecting more vanilla creaminess from this. Just a personal preference, though.
#84 by johnnypancake, Apr 7. 2016, 08:11
I made this recipe at 60/40 VG/PG and 4mg Nicotine. Smelt amazing instantly. Tasted like Pepper for first 4 days. On day 5 it started tasting exactly like a creamy strawberry milkshake. Great flavor. I'm sure a 4 week steep will do it wonders. I made a 120ml batch so will keep you posted as to how it matures over time. Thank you Fizzmustard!
#85 by SS, Apr 11. 2016, 05:37
Didn't have the TPA strawberry but substituted it with Shisha Strawberry. Not familiar with the original but this is fantastic juice.
No harshness at all. Not even a pinch.
Very few recipes I find that I will make a second batch up at 100 mls but this one will be tomorrow, for sure.

Thanks for the recipe.
Will still try it with the proper Strawberry flavouring when it arrives.
#86 by Smoky , Apr 14. 2016, 12:30
Made this recipe with Strawberry Ripe instead of Strawberry at same percentages but after 2 weeks of steeping strawberry totally faded away. So, I decrease VBIC to 4% and lived strawberry at the same percentage. Will see in a week how it will be.
#87 by juliawkk, Apr 21. 2016, 06:27
Can I make this at a 50/50 ratio? Or will it change the flavor too much?
#88 by johnnypancake, Apr 21. 2016, 07:47
Its been 4 weeks of steeping now. Peppery taste of VBIC is still hidden in the background, but it is a great e liquid and I have received many compliments from people that have sampled it. I will be making the diketo free version next time to compare.
#89 by Hhnguyen504, Apr 23. 2016, 01:08
Thanks fizz mustard this simple recipe is delicious.
#90 by Amy***, Apr 25. 2016, 04:54
Great SB n cream and simple too ! Thanks 4 the share :)
#91 by Globaldrifter, Apr 28. 2016, 17:03
Fantastic mix! Gave it a 5 days steep and it settled in really well. This will be one of my regular vapes! Thanks for the recipe.
#92 by N, May 4. 2016, 18:41
i ry it with another flavors and failed it.
#93 by 🎅 SANTA714MIXER 🎅, May 9. 2016, 18:28
This is my all day i have two bottles one steeping and another ready to be vape. I like to let a steep for a week .
#94 by Ogamy, May 14. 2016, 16:22
Mixed it up, despite the slight peppery taste, it is very nice.. That said, surely we cannot call this SB and Cream, It is beyond that, and it is Strawberry Ice Cream.
#95 by yence, May 15. 2016, 10:39
Made this juice and for some reason flavour is muted to no flavour at all... fairly new to diy tho. Just can't seem to get simple recipes down to something that's vape worthy
#96 by nonsmoker, May 17. 2016, 05:58
is vapegasm a word? i think i just had one so i had to come back here and comment. i cant get over how delicious this is. I like this better than any retail strawberries and cream i've encountered.
#97 by spykraft, May 17. 2016, 15:30
What if I eliminate the nic? Would the taste differ?
#98 by MassiveCloudz, May 18. 2016, 19:56
I was really worried about making this recipe as i have vanilla bean ice cream from Capella's and i don't have TFA strawberry.Capella's vanilla bean ice cream is really peppery to me so 8% worried me as i thought it was going to be to over powering at 8%. I decided to use 8% cap vanilla bean ice cream, TFA ripe strawberry 4% and Capella's sweet strawberry at 2%. Put her in the crock-pot for 3 hours on warm then let it sit over night.Tried it the next day and I'm really impressed. Very glad i made this one.Thank you for sharing your great recipes Fizz
#99 by Naomeow, May 19. 2016, 10:09
Love it.m Sold me on diy! Thank you.
#100 by Ogamy, May 20. 2016, 20:42
Think I'll join you MassiveCloudz, TFA VBIC is peppery, but I can't not put it down despite that. Think I'll follow you, as I had the same content of Strawberry as you, but TFA VBIC, will try Capella VBIC now, as I've tried this before, and I like the taste also.
#101 by DjChefMarco, May 24. 2016, 12:29
Just a question guys. If I will be using a larger bottle like 50ml. Will the percentage of the ingredients change? I will be trying to make my own juicestarting today so I need your advice. Thanks!
#102 by johnnypancake, May 24. 2016, 13:11
For [Og] and [MassiveCloudz]: I am also one of the unfortunate people who taste pepper in TFA VBIC. It does however 'steep out' over time. Let the mix steep for a month and it will taste great. This is about the time it will turn a very dark yellow color.
#103 by SS, May 25. 2016, 04:27
DjChefMarco: See the blue wrench to the right, at the top, of the receipe? Just click on it and press Adapt....then fill in your desired ml size, in your case, 50ml. It will automatically adapt the mls of flavouring needed for that size. Just double check everything. Make sure your VG/PG is right, your nicotine, etc but no, the flavour will be the same at any size, providing you fill in the right nicotine you are using.
#104 by DjChefMarco, May 28. 2016, 22:04
ShelaghDB thanks for the reply. appreciate it!
#105 by VaporAlchemist, May 30. 2016, 01:27
This is a nice and simple recipe. It doesn't have a lot of layers, so it requires only a few days of steeping. I enjoyed vaping it, it has a tangy fresh strawberry flavor that is not sweet. The VBIC adds a light creaminess and a faint vanilla bean. I would not say this is an ADV for me, but it is a quick recipe made with easy to find flavorings. I like my vapes sweeter and creamier with less tangy-ness. However, you can use this recipe as a starting point for other strawberry cream recipes.
#106 by audiosabre, Jun 2. 2016, 18:57
Bit late to the mustard milk party. This is a great simple recipe. A well balanced ratio of flavours. Very reminiscent of OHW Milk Man. A week steep and it's good.
#107 by SamehCena, Jun 4. 2016, 03:06
i have this Flavors but TFA how much the prec should be ???
#108 by VaporAlchemist, Jun 4. 2016, 04:12
TPA = TFA same company referred to in different ways. Go to their website, you'll understand.

This one steeped for 8 weeks and works beautifully (10 ml batch). Gonna try to mix in 1 % Koolada to get the iced feeling. It's well balanced, and I propably try this as a base for further experiments.
#111 by O.o.JamMasterJuice.o.O, Jun 9. 2016, 16:16
can anyone tell me I have FW strawberry. what percentage would be similar to his 6% ?
#112 by agrain, Jun 10. 2016, 19:25
I prepared 50ml yesterday but i dont know why is not convincing me. is this a shake and vape or need to steep ? any advertise if im wrong in something ?
#113 by hblamo, Jun 16. 2016, 16:40
Delicious recipe! I tend to add 1% Strawberry (ripe) and down strawberry to 5%. I find that to be just about perfect for what I was looking for! I would recommend anyone give it a try if your looking for a bit more strawberry.

#115 by Ogamy, Jun 18. 2016, 22:09
First batch was Strawberry ripe and it came out delicious. My next batches were TPA Strawberry, and I hated the taste, artificial strawberry taste, like strawberry laces.. Tried koolada also, and I think it just interrupts the icecream taste. Suppose thats the beauty, we all have different preferences.
#116 by Ogamy, Jun 26. 2016, 14:30
-Made another batch with Strawberry ripe, but the VBIC isn't coming through despite 10-14 day steep, any suggestions guys? Bad VBIC?
#117 by Mike89, Jun 28. 2016, 10:42
This is a good vape. I think I was trying to get too complex with some of my recipes and this simple one surprised me. Good with Blueberry too. This is making me rethink some of my other recipes. Throwing a lot of flavors together, thinking more is better, isn't always the best thing. Sometimes keep it vaping simple stupid works just fine.
#118 by Fubzter, Jun 28. 2016, 21:09
made 300ml of this one with 10% VBIC 3% ripe strawberry and 3% strawberry ax VG and 3mg nic...........ITS AWESOME!!!!!
#119 by B8ted, Jun 29. 2016, 22:49
I made 100ml of this earlier this evening. Give a few good shakes and I have to say that it tasted great straight off the bat! The Strawberry was very succulent and the vanilla was coming through extremely creamy. Really excited to see how it goes over the next week or so.
#120 by B8ted, Jul 1. 2016, 21:44
2 days on and this taste like Carnival - We out here doe (Blue Raspberry Cotton Candy and Ice Cream) but with strawberry in the place of the cotton candy, amazing!!! Please note i made this to 80/20 and i'm vaping it on a mini fat buddha rda with dual claptons (26/32 @2.5mm) at 75w.
#121 by chopthatjuice, Jul 2. 2016, 21:23
I don't know what happened or if my flavors went bad but after a few weeks this turned into a vomit flavor... it was so good at first...
#122 by SRSL, Jul 4. 2016, 21:14
I made 20ml of this, 10ml for testing and i keep another 10ml for steeping around 5 - 7days.. I change the recipe a bit, adding the whipped cream to make it more creamy.. 20ml i steep it for 15minutes using my steeping machine, and i gotta say it turned out perfectly.. i gave it to my friend and he said it tastes like strawberry milk.. im also mixing another batch using Dragon Fruit instead of Strawberry and it also tastes good.. If I add 0.5% or 1% of EM, would it mute the flavor?? After shake i still get that chemical taste from the VBIC (im using CAP VBIC i/o TPA)..But it should be good after few days.. I gotta say this is Strawberry Milk, not Strawberry Cream.. Anw, thanks for this recipe!!
#123 by yuriev, Jul 11. 2016, 21:23
between 2.and 3. week juice was good.but after 3.week juice muted.usually juices be better if you steep longer.but not this time ))
(followed same ratios and flavour-brand.steeped in dark and cool place.no heat,no extra.daily shake thats it )
#124 by jl10101, Jul 13. 2016, 10:12
I found that adding 2% (was meant to be 1% but I wasn't concentrating) of TFA Dragon Fruit bridged a tiny gap between the creams and the Strawberry and made the Strawberry pop fantastically!
#125 by b[84], Aug 2. 2016, 19:08
Simple and awesome! Thank you!

#128 by IcedCloud, Aug 25. 2016, 17:28
anyone tried sweetener(suclarose) and how much %?? i vape this recipe for months and i want to make it more sweet
#129 by Rob Wills, Sep 1. 2016, 18:11
Love this, I never liked it in 3mg but in 12mg 60pg 40vg it tastes amazing in my MTL Kayfun.
It's weird some flavours I don't like in 3g but like them in 12mg and vice versa.
#130 by MthompLMT, Oct 5. 2016, 21:36
This was my first go at DIY and it's great. I let it steep for a couple days, and it's easy to vape. Not overwhelmingly sweet. I'll definitely be making more of this!
#131 by sp66, Oct 6. 2016, 04:30
Do you need to add any kind of sweetener to this recipe or is it sweet already with those two flavorings?
#132 by big_vape, Oct 15. 2016, 07:11
Been my ADV for about 3 months now
#133 by AHill4168, Oct 25. 2016, 14:12
Tried this with CAP sweet strawberry and TFA vanilla bean gelato. Shook it up, left it overnight, and woke up to a delicious juice! Gonna do a 10 mL test run using TFA sweet raspberry, just to see what that's like. Thanks for the recipe!
#134 by Shaxi, Nov 3. 2016, 21:21
All I'm really getting out of this recipe is butter flavor. The VBIC smells like butter something fierce. I get that diacetyl does that and I'm vaping it at my own risk, but I was hoping for some strawberry in here as well. And maybe some creaminess rather than just butter. And I was an idiot and bought 4oz bottles of each flavoring. I have made a huge mistake.
#135 by MthompLMT, Nov 7. 2016, 17:18
This really does get better with age. Vaping a bottle made almost a month ago and the flavor is really good. I don't mind it with a shorter steep but this bottle the VBIC has really mellowed out and I get a good strawberry taste too.
#136 by Ron the Don, Nov 9. 2016, 19:13
A bit peppery at first but absolutely marvellous after a week or two. One of my favourites.
#137 by myvapemyway, Nov 18. 2016, 16:54
Anyone tried with Strawberry Ripe at the same percentage or increase it? This will be my first DIY e juice, waiting next day my flavors coming. Appreciate any answer..Big Thanks
#138 by MthompLMT, Nov 18. 2016, 18:46
@myvapemyway, if you search for Ripe Mustard Milk you'll get several hits. I haven't tried it myself yet but it's on the to do list.
#139 by AbulRulZ, Nov 29. 2016, 13:11
Hi, How long does this take to steep? its been 4 days and the flavours are still muted.
#140 by Fuat Abi, Dec 8. 2016, 00:34
Not that bad. Liked it
#141 by compclouds, Dec 10. 2016, 09:17
This is a bit rich for me. I'd give it about a 3.5 out of 5 stars. The "Ice Cream" tastes more like Cool Whip to me, without the mouth feel. The strawberry flavor definitely isn't like a fresh strawberry, but isn't very artificial to me. It's a bit like if you made a strawberry milk shake with strawberry syrup, ice milk, and cool whip. I ran out of the latest incarnation of my current favorite flavor today, and honestly getting a bit sick of vaping this with only about a ML in the tank. Gonna try a few variations on it to see if I can get more of what would be an ADV for me. I wouldn't mix it up very often at these percentages.
Mixed up a batch of Velvet Vinyardes at the same time I mixed this. Didn't really like it. But mixing the two in my tank is a lot better than either alone. Gives me hope that my ideas of how I should modify the recipe are on track before I have a chance to get anything mixed up.
#142 by Kk_hz, Dec 12. 2016, 04:29
Tried the next day, all I can say is AMAZING, WOW!
so rich and flavorfull!
A ridiculously simple recipe yet so amazing.

I break down the strawberries (same total percentage) and add a sweetener to it:
2% TPA ripe str
3% CAP sweet str
1% INW shisha strw

1% TPA sweetener
#143 by myvapemyway, Dec 17. 2016, 01:05
@MtompLMT, and other mixers. This long comment. :D it's almost one month. But my juice just still have like chemical taste or what it's called, I think from VBIC from the smell.

The first until 3 puffs was great taste, but again the bad taste came out. Also, I notice my juice always make the cotton broke in the center. I can't figure out what was wrong, I'm sure the cotton wicked properly because I've used in other juice and everything's okay.

I think the problem not from the recipe because I can taste the great flavour. Just still trying. Actually this is 2nd mixing after strawberry cheesecake.

Maybe from my PG, VG, or flavors, or how I steep. So, any thought how you mix and steep will be very appreciated.

- MIX By weight with same percentage but change regular strawberry to strawberry Ripe.
- Steep in dark cabinet for 1 week, then taste regularly until 1 month. My room has Air Conditioner with 18-20 Celsius. (maybe this too cold for steeping. Please let me know if it's wrong)
- While trying to smell the VBIC, I think that's not good. Is it normal?

Thank you everyone
#144 by blue305, Dec 22. 2016, 04:57
i just made this my first diy so easy to make and flavor is good
#145 by Kevin, Jan 14. 2017, 04:05
I don't know why I hate the flavor of Vanilla bean Ice cream by TFA. It seems that I am in the minority on that... Maybe it's the fake buttery flavor? It just tastes horrible and I can hardly taste anything else...
However, sub in capella's Vanilla bean Ice cream and boom! 10/10.
Easy, and delicious.
#146 by Michaeldoc69, Jan 17. 2017, 08:24
Kevin@, I guess, I'm in luck? I just made a little batch and discovered, that I don't have Vanilla Bean Ice Cream by TPA, but I have some by Capella, so I used it instead. It tastes pretty good, actually. You are right.
#147 by Geb, Jan 28. 2017, 15:48
I quit smoking vaping Unicorn Milk for like 3 months straight. After that I was strawberried out. Haven't touched strawberry in over a 17 months. then I got into DIY and figured for $1 a bottle why not try it again. This juice is delicious. Simply and not overpowering. Great recipe.
#148 by Olay's, Feb 1. 2017, 12:54
Hi... I have a question..
how about if I use strawberry and vanilla bean ice cream from CAP ?
will it taste to be better / less / same ?
#149 by le0n, Feb 3. 2017, 04:42
After 10 days of steeping, it smells good, but tastes like stale butter. Sad
#150 by Fuat Abi, Feb 3. 2017, 10:41
Beware this is not shake and vape. After 1-2 months it tastes amazing.
#151 by DeusAnima, Feb 9. 2017, 20:24
Yea, this is/was my first mix i DIY, made it some minues ago, and already its pretty good. I'll take some of the pro advise in this forum for the next 100ml - Thanks for making this mate!
#152 by Ron the Don, Feb 18. 2017, 13:05
I've done about 20 recipes now and this is by far the best and my ADV. My next batch will be 200ml. Thanks for sharing 👍
#153 by Suomynona, Feb 19. 2017, 05:55
This is definitely not a shake-n-vape recipe. The vanilla bean ice cream is really overpowering My next batch will probably use only half of the VBIC.
Since so many people commented that they were looking for something to "pop" the strawberry, I added 0.5% dragon fruit, but again, without steeping, the strawberry flavor is completely lost.
#154 by Geb, Feb 19. 2017, 07:08
@Jake - try adding 1% raspberry and it will make the strawberry pop.
#155 by Suomynona, Feb 19. 2017, 19:37
@Geb - Thanks for the tip, but raspberry is one of those flavors that I really can't vape. I chose dragon fruit because i read it's known to bring out the strawberry (and I saw it in a couple diy videos as well).
#156 by Geb, Feb 19. 2017, 19:51
@Jake - fair enough. try 1% dragon fruit and a 1 week steep. I know this is marketed as "shake and vape" but I find it needs to steep at least a week or two. Honestly, for me, I've never had a "shake and vape" juice. just about every juice needs a day breath and at least a couple of days to settle down and blend in.
#157 by viliquid, Feb 25. 2017, 11:53
strawberry tpa is glazed/candied nice to mix with doughnut recipes , i think will more suitable to use straw ripe
#158 by Suomynona, Feb 25. 2017, 14:47
I used strawberry ripe and it's not ideal (for me). I'd try a mix of both if I'd make it again
#159 by viliquid, Feb 26. 2017, 08:54
strawberry ripe need at least 1night to pop out (in my exp).
i have tried mix strawberry ripe & strawberry tfa to vbic, and still left some "glazed" berry in my palate. i mixed to test how it like, and i may say this is simple recipe for simple beginner. for me, my most recipes usually use around 10s flavs lol
#160 by miles, Mar 2. 2017, 22:14
Why does all my diy e juice taste like shit along with this.i mixed it at the right percentage my vg is fine because I've tested it and i steeped it for 4 weeks and it just has a weak bad and non authentic flavour,i dont get it everyone is saying its amazing ibe wasted all this money on diy suplies and every mix is shit
#161 by Geb, Mar 2. 2017, 22:43
@Miles - how long have you been vaping and how long have you been DIY mixing? First - IMO just about every juice needs at least a week or so to steep. I don't care if it says it's "shake and vape certified". All juices need a little time to come together.

Second - it could be your nicotine (if you use it). If you have a bad batch of nicotine every juice is going to taste like shit. It could also be you have bad PG. Are you also buying TPA and other "name brand" flavors? If you are using say VapeWild or house brand flavors, the taste may not be the same and your percentages may be off.

Third - if you have been vaping "premium" e-liquid for a while there may be an adjustment period to get used to DIY juice. Most DIY recipes have no or very little sucralose or other sweetners. "Premium" juices are chuck full of it. Think of it like eating McDonalds hamburgers for years and then you get a fresh, handmade gourmet burger. The fresh burger may taste "odd" at first because it doesn't have all the McDonalds "extras" and chemicals and preservatives etc.

For what's it's worth I've been mixing almost two months now. My only regret? - that I didn't start sooner. I've mixed up over a dozen recipes from ELR, Reddit or ATF. The vast majority of them have been really good. Several of them I've made a couple of bottles - they were that good. I found several ADV material juices and at least one or two "clones" that are better than the originals. Not every mix is going to suit you. I think if you try enough of them and use the exact same flavors and flavor companies, you are bound to mix up at least some juice that you like.

Last - you may have to tweak recipes a bit to get what you like. Take this Mustard Milk for example. I wasn't crazy about it mixed as described above. I took the strawberry down a hair to 5%, the VBIC down to 4% and added 4% of TPA sweet cream to get a flavor that worked better for me. You may have to do something similar. Also, post your question over on the DIY e juice subreddit - those guys over there are really knowledgeable and will give you some pointers and help you to find out what's wrong with your juice. Someone will ALWAYS get back to you and help out. There is a "new mixers" thread where you can post you issues.

Hope you get it figured out - when you do, you'll find DIY is way better and WAAAAY cheaper than "premium" juice.

^^^
Way off topic but oh so true
#163 by miles, Mar 3. 2017, 08:08
Thanks for the help I will just play around with other mixes and find what I like
#164 by miles, Mar 3. 2017, 08:15
Does anyone have any premium tasting sweet ejuice recipes that taste similar to original?
#165 by Geb, Mar 3. 2017, 14:01
do a search (right here on ELR) for unicorn milk. there is a clone recipe that is supposed to be the actual cuttwood recipe. still - I would say it's not really about clone recipes. there are dozens if not hundreds of really good recipes you could try. I like custard so I mixed up about 10 of them. some I liked more than others but I found 2 which were really really good. you should try recipes that look good to you - not clone recipes. some of the mixers here have put up recipes that are BETTER than the originals. there is nothing "premium" about perhaps 75% of the commercial juice market. it's only "premium" because some people are willing to pay $25 a bottle for it because they think they are getting something special. there is nothing special about it. those companies use the same exact ingredients that you see listed here on these recipes.
#166 by cincinnatiking, Mar 8. 2017, 07:47
First recipe I made. I was very not happy with it at first. It needs a steep for at least 5 days. A LOT of these recipes on ELR say Shake & Vape, but they don't taste right off rip. This puts new mixers off, and discouraged. I am extremely surprised how much this has changed. I didn't think it was possible to have a really good DIY juice, compared to store bought. I'm getting a real nice buttery, creamy, strawberry. I gave it a 10 day steep. Will be making more! Made it at max VG. I think it would be much better with more PG. Using Hadaly RDA, Tiger Coil 26g, 1/8th in ID, 6 wraps, .38 ohm resistance.
#167 by miles, Mar 8. 2017, 07:57
Anyone tried adding sweetener to this, I like sweet juices i just want to know if you can have it in this mix?
#168 by Geb, Mar 8. 2017, 13:47
@Miles - you can add whatever you like to your juice - that's the whole purpose of DIY; to get juice specific to your personal tastes. Most people use sweetener at .5% - 2% - try some and see how it goes. If you like it sweet you can play around with the ice cream element in the recipe too. instead of 8% VBIC try maybe 4% VBIC and 4% vanilla custard. Also read the comment above about steeping. Almost every juice will taste a little different and in most cases a little better after a one week steep. some juice can require up to two months of steeping for the best taste. also try another strawberry and cream recipe that uses different ingredients. it could be you simply don't like this recipe. try a another recipe and see how that goes. try something other than strawberry and cream altogether.
#169 by haggisking, Mar 12. 2017, 22:11
Thanks good recipe one of my 1st
#170 by Venny, Mar 20. 2017, 22:48
First tried it with tpa strawberry ripe and it was good but now that I got tpa strawberry it's way better. Did a warm bath and steeped it for two days, it's already very pleasant. Does anybody have a sweet spot for steeping?
#171 by RedneckVapor304, Apr 3. 2017, 07:40
I used 3% strawberry ripe and 3% red touch strawberry to give it more of a real strawberry taste
#172 by hpturkey, Apr 8. 2017, 13:07
I've made this recipe yesterday. Only steeped it for a night and it's awesome already. Thanx for this easy and all day vape recipe man.

Awesome.
#173 by big_vape, Apr 8. 2017, 17:03
@Venny 3-4 days tops, but good as snv. That lone Strawberry tends to mute after a while (3-4 weeks for me). After a year, I'm still vaping this.
#174 by Minerva K, Apr 28. 2017, 17:05
First recipe I tried to make. Made just 10ml. Flatmate and I liked it so much that I made 30ml the following day, just so it could steep. Was curious to experience the taste after two weeks (had read that 1-2 weeks' steeping time is best), but it just... umm... "disappeared." So today, I made 50ml. Let's see whether this lasts long enough for us to test it at 2 weeks. To us, it's pleasant a few hours after making, and absolutely delicious after 3 days.

Great recipe - thank you so much. Really encouraging for beginners to be able to make something so tasty, yet simple.
#175 by Schpaddell, May 7. 2017, 21:38
Mixed: 26.04.17
Tried: 07.05.17
@IJoy Combo RDTA, 24ga SS, 3mm 7 Wraps spaced, Dual Coil, 0.16Ohm, IJoy Zenith Mod, 3.4-4.2V, fresh cotton wicks

Taste: Strawberry icecream - just that, just perfect. A very good juice, will go into my ADV rotation. I really like the throat hit I personally get from VBIC and the light peppery notes from it in combination with strawberry

Very good juice. Next time I will mix 100ml of it. Additionally I will play with the strawberry (make some batches with some other flavors) and see how it works.

Thank you very much for sharing this

#185 by Trainspotter82, Jun 7. 2017, 13:15
@osvt If it tastes like it needs more strawberry to You then add more strawberry, thats the beauty of DIY
#186 by T3N-B0B, Jun 7. 2017, 22:03
I added more strawberry and a touch of vanilla custard and it was heaven. The flavour has since died away a little but I am knew to all this so I'm sure I'll master it in time

I followed the recipe to the letter and it is just perfect.
What amazes me and everyone else in here, is the simplicity.
Thanks @fizzmustard.
#197 by TwoTone, Oct 29. 2017, 03:31
Wow!! Tones of replys lol... This is a great recipe and could be a base to add some NY Cheesecake.. But at what % ?
#198 by bwh79, Nov 16. 2017, 04:35
I dropped the flavor %'s by a little bit, it's still very good at 4 and 6.
#199 by Rice, Dec 12. 2017, 00:27
Mixed it exactly as the recipe states but after 15 days of steeping it still tastes peppery. How come?
#200 by elvink, Dec 13. 2017, 18:52
dont have strawberry normal and subbed with strawberry ripe, after 7days steeping its not sweet at all, add some sweetener or change it to strawberry normal?
#201 by alexis666, Dec 17. 2017, 18:17
Quite a nice recipe. The ice cream is fairly dominant for me, not a bad thing but I'd call it a Strawberry Ripple or something rather than a milk.
#202 by TwinsWin, Dec 24. 2017, 22:14
The simplicity of the recipe and flavor is awesome! We go through alot of this.
#203 by The executive, Jan 25. 2018, 07:58
amazing
#204 by Jonc, Jan 26. 2018, 16:35
I think it's funny how people say they substituted the vbic for this and the strawberry for that and this is how it turned out. Changing one ingredient is 50 percent of the recipe. Shell out the 2 bucks and get the right ingredienta
#205 by Aman, Feb 20. 2018, 14:39
What is steeping period?
#206 by Matty Vapes, May 17. 2018, 13:58

tastes great with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream by Capella as well. loved it! I've added some super sweet to it (5-7 drops)
#208 by DANKABLE MEDIBLES, Jun 13. 2018, 18:46
what is the steep time for this delicious sounding recipe?
#209 by faru4, Jun 18. 2018, 23:35
1-2 weeks
#210 by DANKABLE MEDIBLES, Jun 21. 2018, 18:24
can i also use strawberry ripe or maybe one drop strawberry or all just to help bring out the strawberry you know with out compramising the cream side of this recipe
#211 by CJ, Aug 26. 2018, 15:11
I took the v.b.i.c to 5%. Took the strawberry to 7%. Added 1% whipped cream and 1% Vienna cream, let it steep overnight in a cup of water in a crockpot with no lid on top, it is the start of the 3rd day of steeping and I’m loving it!
#212 by miim, Sep 7. 2018, 12:17
Due the availability of TPA strawberry in my location, i used this recipe as a refrence. i mixed the following:

TPA vbic 8%
CAP sweet straw 3%
TPA straw ripe 3%
cap super sweet 0.5%

This is tottally ADV and it tastes great.
Thanks for the recipe Fizzmustard 5 stars.
#213 by Clouds of Ice and Fire, Oct 18. 2018, 15:25
I give it a 3 star because I can't vape this one and know how it tastes. If I use TFA VBIC over 3% I get a peppery taste, and I don't have the Capella version. I have to mix it with TFA Vanilla Swirl, FA Vienna Cream and such to get a decent full body ice-cream.
#214 by Phip, Oct 31. 2018, 15:24
If you are getting that peppery taste try switching to FW VBIC. (same percentages) Yummy!
#215 by Aryashko, Dec 16. 2018, 04:17
i love this! simple and great after 5 days of steeping! thank you!
#216 by Literbooze, Jan 27. 2019, 14:52
I love this juice. I make a lot for myself and my family, they love it too. It's great as a snv, or with some steeping time. Absolutely one of the best I've found and been able to reproduce. Thanks for posting it!
#217 by DougG, Feb 10. 2019, 19:38
I'm new to this craft and find this utterly fantastic. As good or better than anything I've bought. Took a risk and mixed up 120ml. Glad I trusted the ratings for this. It's simply great. Was good as a S&V. Is great two days later. Can't imagine it getting better... Thank you.
#218 by boomboy, Mar 14. 2019, 15:48
love it.
#219 by Phil Critch, Mar 16. 2019, 19:28
Great simple recipe. For my personal taste buds, I added an extra 1% Capella Strawberry ripe and 1% Capella supersweet and it's superb. I'll certainly be making another 100ml batch. Thanks for the recipe.
#220 by cincinnatiking, Mar 17. 2019, 16:50
If you newer mixers like strawberries I highly recommend buying Inawera's Shisha Strawberry. It's my favorite flavor out of the hundreds I have tried.
#221 by Anirei, Mar 28. 2019, 16:22
I mixed this just like the recipe. Let it step for 10 days.

Smells just like strawberry ice cream, tastes like the cardboard of the container where the missing ice cream was..
Weird thing is that I taste ice cream a few minutes after I’ve finished vaping..

I will let this thing step for a month and see what happens.
#222 by Khazmin, Mar 30. 2019, 15:30
how much should i let it breath?
#223 by Anirei, Apr 2. 2019, 17:46
Must have been two weeks of step. Much improved flavor or I've just grown used to it.

The cardboard taste is gone. I still don't enjoy it.
I come to the conclusion I don't feel strawberries too much and dislike vanilla completely.
Still this recipe might be great for the ones who enjoy it. Good luck, and thank you for sharing it.
#224 by paulo2, Apr 17. 2019, 06:57
tastes like butt
#225 by Ruana, May 7. 2019, 19:51
I mixed this with Strawberry ripe at 3%, Red Touch at 2% and Shisha Strawberry at 1% (for a touch of that syrupy Strawberry INW gives me). Added 4% FA Vanilla Gelato and 2% CAP VBIC plus Vanilla Extract, 1 drop/5 ml. Gave it 3 times warm water bath for about 1 hour each and now I'll let it steep for 8-10 days (first test in my NarDa dripper was a little harsh, Strawberries too prominent, needs to mellow somewhat). I really like the Vanilla Ice Cream from FA and can't wait to see what it can do for this recipe...
#226 by Ruana, May 7. 2019, 19:52
...forgot to rate, sorry...
#227 by Phil Critch, May 8. 2019, 17:07
A great recipe, that I've personally adapted myself but a great simple recipe.
#228 by Ricardoct, Jun 18. 2019, 23:31
Can I do it with strawberry ripe at 3% with vanilla bean gelato at 2% ?
#229 by cadaza, Jun 22. 2019, 10:38
I dont know what im doing wrong or how people can call this a shake and vape when even after a week of steeping, 4 hours breathing on day 4, mine still tastes like dish washing liquid. Smells amazing but thats not the point. I also made a tfa pineapple and tfa mango with some sweet cream and got the same taste, not sure if its just the tfa fruits that i cant stand, but it tastes horrible.
#230 by paulo2, Jun 22. 2019, 11:07
try cap vbic, it is a lot better @cadaza
#231 by paulo2, Jun 22. 2019, 11:08
tpa vbic sucks
#232 by Spicy, Jun 26. 2019, 11:54
I mixed this one on June 7th , smelled great but tasted like cardboard .
2 weeks of steeping and the cardboard taste is not as much.
I mixed another 2 recipes and it is the same.
I am not sure what I am doing wrong,is it ny setup?
I have the smok nord pen and the smok nord pod and fuchai due 3 mod with mad hatter RDTA. I tried from 20 watts to 50 watts.
And advice???
#233 by Englishguy, Jul 6. 2019, 23:41
Hi what's the steep time please
#234 by Troy, Jul 12. 2019, 15:13
Wonderful Recipe! a month steep time and its SO much better than shake and vape, but even freshly mixed, this was great! Thank you!!!
#235 by NewBoy, Jul 18. 2019, 18:10
Simple yet effective. One of my regulars now. Thanks for posting. 5 stars
#236 by Andra cake, Jul 28. 2019, 16:52
how long does this recipe take to be ready to be enjoyed
#237 by Dmilud, Aug 16. 2019, 18:41
I’m one of the unlucky ones tasting the pepper on this vanilla. It’s been steeping for a week now... will leave it in my cabinet for a month and see if that changes anything though
#238 by KIRAx2000, Oct 29. 2019, 21:42
awsome recipe thank you for sharing
#239 by Spartan, Nov 14. 2019, 22:41
2 stars from me. I have no idea how diy mixes were in general back then when this was posted, but all i tasted was a flat, sour/tart strawberry ice cream.
I added 3% tpa marshmallow and made this way better. Made the strawberry sweeter and the ice cream more rich but still feels to need some work.

#240 by cincinnatiking, Mar 7. 2020, 02:55
New mixers keep in mind these are percentages from 2015. Different devices with different coils
#241 by AZ_Jeep, Mar 9. 2020, 01:37
@ cincinnatiking - What percentages do you suggest?
#242 by death-by-government, Mar 10. 2020, 03:58
I’ve been vaping this stuff for years, recently dropped the vbic by half, tastes a less custard like after steeping, i mix it 6% tpa strawberry 4% tpa vbic (sometimes add 1% FA cream fresh) @ 60VG
#243 by s2k, Mar 30. 2020, 19:33
Goes to show a good eJuice DOES NOT have to have 8 or 9 different flavors blended. Most of the flavors we are already using are kinda like little “one shots and can be amazing alone at the right percentages. I work in lean manufacturing and I can tell you most if not ALL “premium E-juice” are looking for the cheapest way to make the most, with that said, do you really think juice companies are sourcing 9 different flavors from 6 different venders? Ummm, no...best deals are made in bulk as with everything else in this world. Absolutely CONCRETE proof that simple is absolutely the way to go! Very good work done here for the community and a valuable lesson taught via this amazingly simple and delicious recipe! Thank you for this!
#244 by Javivi30, Aug 4. 2020, 18:02
Very tasteless, I have thrown it away.
More than two months of maceration.
#245 by Zugmaschine, Sep 13. 2020, 18:19
Taste good between 5-8 days after mixing. Then the VBIC start to overun the Strawberry. After 1 month there is not much Strawberrytaste.
Solution: Lower the VBIC to 4-6%!
#246 by 316VAPES, Oct 15. 2020, 17:11
I have made this twice now. But it does need tweaking to conform to new mods and coils. I use a rba and it sometimes tastes like i was vaping a pencil. I been messing with it and have come close to getting it right. I cut the vbic down to 4% and added .5% tpa marshmallow and .3% tpa dairy milk. Changed to strawberry ripe this 3rd going to see how it goes. Hopefully it does the trick.
#247 by AZ_Jeep, Oct 15. 2020, 20:59
Psycho_316 Let us know how it turns out!
#248 by 316VAPES, Oct 16. 2020, 19:11
Az i will it has been steeping for two days. Got one with tpa strawberry and strawberry ripe the Strawberry ripe has .5% marshmallow and the strawberry tpa has 1% So ill see where it goes in a few days. Right now both smell unreal but we all know a good smell doesn’t always mean great vape lol
#249 by 316VAPES, Oct 17. 2020, 16:02
AZ_Jeep i vaped my updated today and its unreal. Here is the recipe that i put together.

Psycho_316 - Thanks, I'll check it out.
#251 by death-by-government, Sep 11. 2022, 16:56
Thank you Fizzmustard, I'm still making this by the litre lol, this has been my ADV for 5-6 years, I tweak it here and there, sometimes I add FA red touch 1-2% and/or TPA strawberry ripe 2% and/or RFSC strawberry 1% & sometimes I add TPA CC graham crust 2% or INW biscuit 1% to make it cakey.
