Guys can i replace MVC FA with FW Madagascar Vanilla. Its really dark vanilla without any creaminess ?

@Kazirro Sounds like (I haven't tasted) that vanilla is supposed to taste like vanilla extract, so yeah it should be an ok sub - no creaminess, just vanilla. I like to sub different vanillas and creams at these low %'s to see how their nuances play against good ol' RY4 double.

I roll with 15/85 pg/vg for this. IMO this a good shake and vape but tastes best after 3-5 days - once the foamy bubbles are mostly dissolved that are characteristic of mixes with FA creams.

I'm pretty sure RPRY4 is the most popular DIY RY4 on the interwebs, and for good reason. Hellos and thanks again RP!

I'm so sorry. I guess I didn't have notifications turned on. WhiteCow - FA's RY4 is much different. You can certainly use it, but it will be much different than the recipe above. The vanilla and caramel are really the only interchangeable ingrdients for something similar.

After 4 week steep it's awesome. I had some different flavours and i didn't want to refresh my stash till it will be empty so i replaced some flavors. I used: Caramel (Original) (TPA), DX Bavarian Cream (TPA), Vanilla Bourbon (TPA), AP and RY4D of course. And raised the flavor percentage to 10% But it's still awesome.

Letting this steep, but right after mixing it tasted rather well! Made it spot on and I don't think my 30mL test run is going to last long.

I mixed it 30PG/70VG with 4mg targer nicotine. After a streething process and 5 days steeping flavor is a bit harsh! I am sure it will get better if I let it sit for another two weeks. Thanks for the recipe Rocket!

FlavourArt is much more potent than TFA. You wouldn't want to use FlavourArt at the same percentages.

I'm late commenting on this recipe, but I've been vaping this for two years now. My daughter and I love it. We were both Menthol smokers so I add .6% TFA Menthol and 1.2% TFA Koolada to the mix and I don't sub or change any of the other flavors or percentages. Now I mix 500ml batches, so I don't run out again. To me, the longer it steeps the better it tastes and is always in one of my tanks as a daily vape. Funny thing, I've always labeled the bottles as RocketPuppy RY4 and she thought it was a brand name when she was showing her co-workers. Thank you for sharing!!!. We truly have enjoyed your recipe!

This is awesome! I mixed this up (your original version) and let steep two weeks and decided I needed to up the RY4D to 8% using high VG as I do. I added .5% FA Butterscotch to the mix to compliment the FA Caramel then upped the Vienna Cream to 1% to round out the .5% AP that was in the original. Next time I will make it as you have here with less AP and the Madagascar Vanilla as I do believe it will be better. I am totally loving this :) Thank you RP for the recipe!

I will try this recipe, the only thing i have to sub is The vanilla, I will use 1% of Vanilla Custard V1, the best custard ever. Thank you for sharing

@Anborn90, just know that the MVC is more of a vanilla extract with no cream notes, so it won’t be the same recipe.

Ok, I totally understand, but I have only vanilla creams, like 4 different custard ice cream kind vanillas... dont wanna make a whole new order only to have Madagascar. I like creams so a little bit of body wouldn't be bad I guess. Instead of Custard v1 Cap I am now thinking about 1% Vanilla Swirl TPA...

I’ve just mixed this up for 30/70 same percentages. How long would you suggest to steep for? I’m thinking at least 2 weeks. Sorry if I’ve missed this info. Also do you suggest adding any sweetener to it? It seems sweet already from knuckle test . I’d imagine the EM in the ry4.
