DIY German chocolate cake ejuice recipe

**Give this 7-10 days for the flavors to mature but is really good around 4 days

FLV Chocolate Deutsch is an outstanding offering and really has one of the best chocolate flavors I've tried. Unfortunately with the other notes this is really all you can use it for. It makes a solid base for a German Chocolate Cake. It could also be used in an Almond Joy style recipe as well but this is probably it's limit. Here at 1.75% it gives the base I was looking for. It could be pushed to 2% but it starts to get a bit odd and the layers inside of it blend past that. Rather than push its limits I decided to use its strength and build the subtle notes around it. I went with the Purilum line as the accents just to play with them since they're new to me. I've tested them and really have been enjoying them. You can sub with TFA/FW/CAP but the PUR feels cleaner to me and they've done a great job. I used them at the % they worked best here so if you do sub you'll need to play with the %.

TPA Coconut Candy - I just needed a kiss of coconut to help draw out the coconut that's already in FLV. I went with this one because it's sweet, like you would find in a candy bar or...A frosting! It plays nice with this and the profile is the same note that I get in Chocolate Deutsch and at .25% it pulls it out

PUR Butter Cream - This is much different that CAP, it has a more prominent butter note. This plays to the cake and also the frosting the way it mixes with the butter pecan & Bav cream.

PUR Bavarian Cream - This is a nice dense cream that works well in bakeries. I used it to help fluff the cake up but the flavor itself for the base of that gooey pecan/coconut frosting. At 1.5% it holds its own against that heavy chocolate.

PUR Butter Pecan - A much nuttier offering than FW and doesn't get hidden in the recipe. Sure FW would work in this, but I get more cream from it and that nutty note doesn't sit on the top the way this one does.

PUR Yellow Cake - 2% is just right in here. It helps keep this all in the realm of a cake with its vanilla touch and cake nuances. Without yellow cake, this could be confused for a candy. It also brings a nice mouth feel to the recipe and helps hold up the FLV. You can use FW here but I wanted to keep this as clean as possible, hence using Pur as it was designed with vaping in mind

Damn,I really wanted to mix this one up but unfortunately we can’t get Purilum flavours in the UK. I might just have to try it with other brands instead and it may be half decent,such a shame. Thanks for the great recipes though.

I have an idea. Use FW yellow cake (or JF if you don't want FW) at 1.5%, TFA bavarian cream at 1% or if you have VTA Devon cream use that at 1.5%. (If you use VTA turn the chocolate Deutsch down to 1.5% and bump coconut candy up to 0.5%), sub FW butter pecan at 1.25%, and for the butter cream you can use CAP at 1% and see how it turns out. While it won't be this same recipe it'll still be good. If you don't have these flavors let me know, we'll get you sorted out.

Oh wow,thank you so much for being so helpful. I have all of those flavours that you mentioned except the VTA Devon Cream but I do have the Cupcake World version. I’m going to try this out tomorrow and when it’s steeped properly I will be back to let you know how it’s turned out. Thanks again for being so kind and helpful,you’re a diamond 💎

Don't use the cupcake world Devon cream, it's nothing like VTA. VTA is more of a chocolate cream than a Devon cream. Just stick with TFA bavarian cream for that sub
