Looks pretty simple. Can I sub Capella Super sweet with anything else? I will give it a try then. The missing donut flavor could be the right way, cause IMO the original doesn't really taste like donut
Mixed up a small batch yesterday. Right after mixing the smell is exactly the same like the original. I also vaped it right after mixing and the taste is very good. The only thing is that the taste is a little weak, but I will wait what happens when it's steeped. Perhaps the taste gets a bit stronger, if not I just increase the amount of flavor to a total of perhaps 16 %. Sometimes you have to keep it simple to get good results. Thanks for the recipe :)
Hey Nastyfrank, I gotta to agree, I think you hit it dead-on!!, for a SnV it just got better everyday (never got a chance to let it steep, lol) Right after mixing the smell is exactly the same like the original. I'm going to order a another bottle from ruth to see if I can taste a difference in a blind taste test. ^5 "Ditto" appreciate your effort>>>so simple so great
I just tried this straight after mixing and I'm blown away. It is spot on. Obviously it will get even better with time. I must've vaped over a litre of the Loaded juice and this clone couldn't be any better. I would even say it is already better than the Loaded juice as I find that it has a slight dryness to it, but this recipe tastes exactly the same but without the dry feeling. The best clone recipe I've ever mixed. Seriously, well done.
I really appreciate you guys using my recipe. My last mix i subbed cinnamon danish with cinnamon danish swirl at the same % to make it a little stronger.
Thanks for the danish swirl tip, I'll give that a try on my next mix. I have some of the Loaded juice here that is steeped 7 months and another bottle that is relatively fresh and your recipe is by far better than both after only 3 weeks, so thank you. I also made a small batch where I increased each flavour by half the percentage for a higher VG mix so I will update in a week or two with how that turned out.
This recipe has been updated. I believe this is enhanced be eliminating the super sweet and changing the cinnamon danish to cinnamon danish swirl at the same %.
Hey I have a thought take it for what it is but had the real juice in closet and was vaping clone for awhile decided to try original and I noticed an eggy note in there so my thought is that in the real recipe they used something eggy! did some research and supposedly FW custard has an eggy custard taste Im starting to think ruthless used this in their mix probably at a low percentage 1. there's also eggnog but Not sure if this would be the one. I can tell by the mouth feel its more likely a custard so once again in thinking Fw!
hey Nastyfrank;
My favorite e-juice is "Block Party" made by Eight Stories,
is that something that can be attempted ? I can't seem to even get close.
Thank You in Advance :-)
Glazed donut (cap) doesnt taste like donut at all im 99% sure its not in the original recipe. It tastes just like playdough at every percentage ive tryed and mixed in everything ive try to use it in. To me its a recipe ruiner.
Has anyone tried this at a 70/30 ratio does it taste the same ? I have a batch steeping for a week now and wondering if I should add some em to the next batch. This recipe is amazing by the way :)
hi, i made exactly the same, steeped it for a week, cannot taste anything like loaded, gave it some good hot bath, nothing changed!! what could go wrong?
Just mixed this up last night, smells amazing! just like the original loaded before they changed the recipe. im having high hopes for this one. will be trying it in a few days then again after a week. i will be sure to come back and give my input
@nastyfrank, I just happened to have a bottle of the original, and mixed this up, and INDEED you are pretty damned close to it, no questions asked. Damn near SPOT ON. Not sure how in the hell you came up with this, as the individual ingredients, for a glazed donut ?? YUPPER. For my own sanity, I MIGHT toss in a smidge of INW Biscuit, a dash of Saline, and maybe a few drops of sweetener, but that's just to see. Regardless of what gets tweaked, your recipe is more than accurate. Very nicely done, 5/5 without hesitation. Thanks for sharing this seemingly not clone-ish mix, that indeed turned out to be SPOT ON.
NastyFrank, looking forward to this one! Going to mix as soon as my new huge ass bottle (love em!) of Cap CDS and FW Cake Batter Dip show up day after tomorrow.
The only thing I do not have is the Ethyl Vanillin 10%... but I kinda have Vanillas coming out of my ears. Anyone have any thoughts on sub for Vanillin? I've got CAP French Vanilla, VBIC, Vanilla Cupcake, and Vanilla Custard 1 & 2. TPA I've got Vanilla Swirl, Vanilla Bean Gelato, VBIC, and DX French Vanilla, and Shisha Vanilla Inawera, and myriad creams/milks/marshmallows/meringues.
I'd be thrilled if anyone could offer a reasonable sub or sub blend based on the above (my stash is visible, too) for Ethyl Vanillin. I'm not sure I've ever even tasted it, so have no idea what I'm aiming for in a sub. Any ideas? I've not tried original, so just looking for an lovely glazed donut.
And SessionDrummer, did you ever try it with a touch of Biscuit INW and Saline? Wondering if those added or took away from orig, in your opinion.
After a 2 week steep I'm vaping this on a Rebirth RDA.
I have vaped litres and litres of the original but unfortunately they changed the recipe and now it just tastes weak and a shadow of what it was.
This clone however brings back memories of the original. The smell and flavour are almost identical. Close enough that I don't pine for the original anymore. I would dare say that you can't get any closer to it. It even has the slightly dry aftertaste of the original.
After three weeks, this was even better. The flavour was stronger and richer with more delicious sweetness.
This is now spot on to the original, and maybe even better, as the dryness of the original is totally absent. At two weeks, the flavour was almost there, but a little weak and dry.
So, three weeks + is optimal for ths juice. At three weeks and above, it's spot on clone and maybe even better than the original.
I unfortunately can't handle cinnamon in my juices... could I replace it with maybe a sugar cookie or some sort of bakery or creme? I know it won't be the same, but I'm dying for a good donut & this has so much praise! Side note, it's not an allergy, just a preference so if the cinnamon is in the flavor but steeps out that's fine. Thanks!
@oddmodicum the biscuit and saline at very low levels did seem to improve it, but only in a slightly subliminal way. It worked for me, BUT, nastyfrank did such a great job, his stands on it's own. I was just looking to tweak the flavor uptake and pastry a notch.
Thank you! I tweaked this using your notes, etc. and FINALLY have almost exact taste of the commercial juice. I've only been diy since December and only vape mtl, so been struggling a bit. I have commercial version here and literally w/my tweaks cannot tell difference! Yay!

Revisiting this recipe. Presently vaping a liquid that was made on Dec 10th, 2018. OUTSTANDING!!! Not only do you get the realistic donut flavor, but I actually get the "glazed" icing flavor on the exhale. IMO this NEEDS a 1-2 month steeps to really shine. I'm a little cinnamon sensitive so I ended up dropping the CDS to 3%. Again, OUTSTANDING!!!
Instead of cinnamon danish (which i don't have) I substituted glazed donut and the recipe tastes great after just shaking a small batch. i will probably steep a larger batch now that I've tried it.
great job!
Very good after a 7 day steep but a little sweet for my preference and I'm not sure why. I might let it steep a lil longer. I'm glad to finally have a use for cake batter dip! Anyone have ideas to make this the Loaded raspberry donut version?
