I really want to try this, but I have this urge to use a good pineapple too
#2 by Lars, Apr 9. 2014, 17:22
If you replace pear with pineapple, it kinda sounds like a virgin pina colada :)

4 % pear,2 % marshmallow instead of em. Turned out nice!

Outstanding! I made this for one of my first juices and lost it in a pile of other recipes. I went back and made it again and It is awesome with a dripper! In my rotation of ADV's for sure! Also, your snake venom is just as good. Both are my favorite recipes! Thanks for sharing!

Nice :) I'm glad you like it - It's not mine though - The source is in the description, but I try to add any good recipes I find to ELR, if they aren't on here already :D Be sure to rate it using the stars above! :)

I replaced the pear with pineapple and it does taste like a piña colada . I didn't let it steep long enough tho ..kinda has a perfumey taste ..still not bad ..I'll update when it's steeped longer

If your using TPA Pineapple, I've noticed anything above 4% leaves the chemical taste even after steeping for a few weeks. Then again, I've only used pineapple in 4 or 5 mixes. So far I've found that peach flavors mask the chemical taste well and blends pretty good.

Good Grief I just made this and it smells sooo good!

Has anyone made this with FA Pear? if so at what percentage and how did it taste? I only have FA pear.
#10 by Accidental_Hermit, Mar 20. 2017, 04:51
#10 Geb, I've been using all FA flavors, coconut 2%, Vienna cream 3%, and pear 4%.

This one is excellent, but better suited for fall or winter. Reminds me of a pear dessert my grandma makes every year for Christmas. :)

Is this a clone of Dr. Stanley's Snake Oil??
#13 by Lars, Jun 13. 2017, 02:30
@Guppy, No. the Americans have their own Snake Oil which this supposedly resembles :) Dr. Stanley Clarke's has absinthe and stuff in it, IIRC :)

Thanks Lars. I didn't realise there was another Snake Oil!!. Judging by the responses to this recipe, I have bookmarked it for future mixing....cheers Lars.

IMO it would be OK to leave EM out or replace it with a sweetener...

Anyone have made this with FA Pear or INW Pear?
You think that will be tasty too, with the right amount of this Peat flavours?

This is amazing. Used the last of my bavarian creme on this one.
