Simple and tasty. Just made a 30ml max vg with 3% nic and vaping right away. I'll be interested to see if steeping improves it but it's already very good.
I just mixed up 15ml and its damn good. As a shake and vape i give it a 8/10. Hopefully the cheescake and crust will come through a little more with steeping, if so it will definitely be a 10/10
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you this is great. mixed last night used my drill with mixing device put some on the RDA so good got it in the RTA Now thanks perfect just as listed for me
Love it! 5 stars. One thing I noticed. It tastes perfect right after making it (shake and vape). After one week steeping it is still delicious but the cheesecake is more pronounced. Thanks for this recipe!
I made an account just to say this is great! Such a simple recipe but so good! Was able to vape right away but will stop to let it steep a little haha.
After a 4 day steep, this stuff is wonderful! The graham is coming through really well and there is a good balance between the strawberry and the cheesecake. Excellent and simple - thanks!
its a nice recipe. i used 2ml cheesecake and 3ml strawberyy for 30ml juice. also 100%vg , tottaly wicked 54mg and fa 0mg.shaked n vaped , right now.worth trying
My favorite recipe for months now (was the first one I tried making). Have tried other, more complex juices, but this beats them easily. K.I.S.S. greatness. An inoffensive and mild ADV, and it smells great too. 5 stars.
It's definitely delicious but I think I'm going to add a cream or 2 to bring the creaminess up a tad. I'm getting strawberry and graham crust and not strawberry cheesecake (makes sense considering the ingredients). With that said, I'm definitely a fan of this. I can't wait to see how a cream thrown into the mix (accidental pun) will affect the ver all balance of it. I think that's all that it's missing IMHO.
Oh wait, I ius notices that this was adapted from another scc and that one actually did use a cream (whipped cream). I may start with that but think it might benefit from a slightly heavier type of cream.
I have been enjoying this recipe for a few months my go to when I need a shake and vape made some last night and put in my kanger with some water Mellon still in it just a little WOW I am vapeing it now .I can see something really good in the works here I am going to pull 30 mils from the 120 I just mixed and do some experimenting boy is it good thanks again for posting this recipe If I am able to duplicate what I did buy blind luck I will post it here I sure hope so it's good
Mixed this at 30/70 PG/VG and it seems a bit weak as a shake and vape. Anyone else have similar issues? Going to let it steep for a few days and revisit.
Ya I really disliked this at first. Tossed it in my closet and got bored of what I had in rotation and saw this nice and amber colored. I LOVE this now. Im literally sitting in front of my scale with my shoebox of flavorings and about to mix a larger batch. This, IMHO, is the ultimate base for experimenting to find your ultimate strawberry cream. Possibilities are endless with such a complex base from only 2 flavorings. Usually to get the complexity and multi-layer feel/taste it takes many more flavorings than just 2. The ratio of these 2 simple flavorings is gold. Thank u for sharing this and hope more people enjoy this as muc as I do.
It tasted good initially but after ten days. I get a lot more of Graham cracker and just a bit of strawberry. I am on zero nic. I'd say this is a good 2-4 day shake and vape.
Been that busy trying out other batches of various juices I've been concocting, the 30ml of this I made has been sat there for 2 weeks. Unfortunately I only get the TINYIEST bit of strawberry on the exhale (have to exhale through the nose to find it), otherwise it's just Cheesecake GC. Will try again with your recommended steep time.
Made 15ml of this. Great off the bat, to me there was way more strawberry. Going to let it steep because I prefer more cheesecake/graham taste than strawberry
This is literally the first recipe i have tried.. and well.. it tastes like cheesy gym socks right after mixing. I do taste the strawberry slightly, but the cheesecakeyness seems like its gone bad and ruins the taste. I didnt change the percentages at all. Has anyone else had this happen? Is it normal? Hopefully steeping will improve it by at least 60%. Ill be back inna few days to update.
This stuff is delicious! I was trying to find a good shake n vape juice while my others are steeping and this is it. Tastes just like strawberry cheesecake
HydroCrisp, did you use TPA Cheesecake (Graham Crust), or just Cheesecake? From what you're describing, it sounds like you might have accidentally used plain TPA Cheesecake, which is a HORRIBLE flavor. TPA Cheesecake (Graham Crust) would have come out much creamier and sweet.
CMCarlson13, i had a feeling that happened. See, i live in Indonesia and i have to rely on suppliers that import from the US or else the import tax is pretty insane. They buy in bulk and then rebottle it all into 30ml bottles. Now here in indonesia it wouldnt suprise me to see someone slap a cheesecake graham crust label on to the (gross) cheesecake bottle.
Anyways im still letting it steep just to be sure. I really couldnt understand how people vaped this as a shake and vape. So now i know why!
Very good. Steeped it only for a couple of days(4) and it already is delicious, lets see if I can leave my fingers off it for some more days of steeping, but I doubt it. Making a bigger badge today. Thank you very much.
OK, so I just went through my test batch of 10ml in one afternoon/evening, making more of this. I guess I have found my ADV for the next couple of weeks,... so simple - so delicious :-)
This is an excellent base recipe. I did modify it a bit to bring up the flavors. Here is my modified version: Cheesecake (Graham Crust TPA) @ 10%, Strawberry Ripe (TPA) @ 14%, DX Bavarian Cream (TPA) @ 4%, and finally Whipped Cream (TPA) @ 4%. In my initial recipe, I only had 10% Strawberry, but the Cheesecake was overpowering the strawberry flavor. Upped the strawberry to 14% and voila! An excellent ADV!!! Much thanks to BigTiny for his recipe and for all your guys' comments!
i dont understand what anybody is saying here... it is tasteless... I followed it exactly... no disrespect to the creator... but it has the smallest whisper of cheesecake... flavor is just not there... and I mixed it exactly as posted
my first DIY, yeh I messed up the first time by checking max VG in my calculator so its odd, but the second time around I got it, now I have 6 60ml bottles sitting, just getting better! great as shake and vape, and better with age thanks for the great recipe
oh sorry I was using 48 mg max VG and went down to 6 mg but being new and kind of stupid I had the calculator set to max VG so the only PG I had was from flavoring,,, so needless to say it was kind of THICK. all my other batches have been 70/30 6mg and have been steeped anywhere from 4 days and counting to well I got impatient it is a great shake and vape but it gets even better with time. i'm just steeping in a cool dark place, shaking and breathing a little. I'm not fully sure about the hot bath/pressure cooker/1000 other ways so I am playing it safe I guess.
Well ... the Liqid was a little bit harsh and not very flavourful in my VCMT at 50W ... but in my Kayfun v5 at 22W this Liquid really worked and Tasted like it should. The smell was very cheesy but the flavour totally worked out to be a nice strawberry cheesecake at lower wattages. I'd recommend this easy to make recipe to any Mout-to-lunger who likes cheesecakes and bakery as I really experienced it that way. Nice mix ... keep up the work!
@Andy Miller, Have you been using this recipe as it is or with modifications of your own? I tried it as is, need to change something, cant figure out what.
Just mixed today. This is the first recipe I've tried. Smell is awesome after mix and shake. Try to vape and the taste so weird. Harsh, and no taste at all. Try for 30 ML batch. Maybe just need to steep more. By the way, I will follow the author suggest to breath 2 hours after making, shake twice a day till 2-4 days and will report again.
Hope this will work fine. If not, I just need to repeat and improve anything again. This is just beginning of my Journey.
@albert31 Sorry for the slow response. Yes I like this best when I just follow the recipe. I have tried variations but the original is still my favorite. These two flavors just complement each other perfectly for me. Some of my friends really dislike the cheesecake flavor but I'm hooked. - One variation I liked added just a small amount coconut candy. I posted it here so I could share it with friends.
This recipe is probably a beginner's favorite: a lot of great reviews and just 2 pretty standard aromas. I made this as one of my first DIY tryouts and what I learned from it is that something "absolutely horrible" can turn into "maybe I need to have more patience" in a couple of days, and to "OK, I need to take the steeping thing seriously" after a week. A lot of recipes have "just shake and vape"-like comments, but this far everything I mixed really needed two or more days before it starts to make any sense to me. I'm still not too sure about bakery aromas but at least I can see how other people love them and I wouldn't be surprised if they will grow on me more and more. I'll be trying this mix again in a week and will report if something interesting has come up.
This was my very first Recipe used when I started Diy 2 Months ago and I still think its one of the best recipes I have found on ELR and there are only 2 out of maybe 20 recipes that I would rate at 5 stars, This is one of them :) I wouldnt change a thing.
150ml mixed. Simple, very simple yet powerfull.
I'm glad i met this recipe, 5star without a doubt, even after just finished mixing it tastes real great. Can't wait untill it becomes mature, will be back in few days.
Regarding the diminishing strawberry flavor, I have read on other recipes a couple of ways to deal with it. First way is to use both regular and ripe strawberry, both TPA. It seems the ripe version diminishes quicker than regular.
Second is to let it steep for however long you like then add another 1-3% of ripe strawberry to bring the flavor back up.
Really liked this kept with the K.I.S.S. method. Heck vaping it this morning, keep coming back to this one. Know what my vaping friends are getting for christmas.
You can or just leave it out shouldn't change to much and to all the questions I have missed I do apologize life is busy if you haven't got the answer to your question and still need help comment again and I'll do my best to assist you.
@bigtiny big thanks.. i really thanks for ur reply sir.. im a student with poor economy who need stop smoking cigar.. hope ur recipe can reduce my outcome.. and the result i quiting smoking cigar.
Sir can I add capella sweet strawberry, I mean like 5% strawberry ripe and 3% sweet capella? Would the g.c cheesecake overpower the strawberry with that ratio ?
And how long you steep ?
I made a bunch of 50ml bottles of this, a friend of mine really likes it, I think its good but gets a bit sweet after a while so needs rotating, strawberry ripe for ya, But definitely tastes best around the 10-14 days steep mark in my opinion, changes around in cheese to strawberry over the first 10 days or so. Cheers for the recipe
Guys, if you want to bring out the creaminess and get rid of the socky flavors in cheesecake (if you're getting that), just add .5-1% CAP creamy yogurt. Worked for me and I almost always add a hint of yogurt with cheesecake. Hope that helps.
This has turned out to be a very good vape for me. I just took Strawberry (RIPE) and reduced 1/2 and added (TPA) Strawberry at the other 1/2. Like someone mentioned you can always add 1-2% more strawberry if it sits for more than a month to kick that strawberry back in.
I have mixed almost every top rated recipe on here. This simple recipe is my favorite. It has made me realize that you don't have to have 8 flavors to get a excellent vape. I am so happy I found this, and the creator was willing to share it. I highly recommend you mix this!
@Momo, you can add a touch of sweetener. I think it needs a little bit. Cheesecakes are sweet. If you want more strawberry, try using TFA Strawberry, CAP's Sweet Strawberry, or a combo of both.
Tasted pretty good within the first 2 or 3 days. Then flavor went funny. At 30 days it amazing as is. No changes needed. 5 stars! Best of all the Strawberry Cheesecakes hands down. Great job!
As i experienced with all other strawberry based recipes, this had a harsh and sweet taste for the first days. After 5th day, yum yum yum it is perfect. Some people may want to bump strawberry up but it will take away its smoothness in my opinion. This simple recipe is probably the end all for many people. I can't use this as my ADV because it is so sweet, but i crave this juice at home, after a tea or coffee. One of the few recipes that i will always keep a bottle with me.
let's say that i make this recipe with an another cheesecake flavor, which is more dominant than tfa one. do i cut the cheesecake or do i add more strawberry?
@enginbora I would cut the cheesecake. Adding too much strawberry flavor to compensate could easily over flavor the mix and actually create less of a strawberry flavor.
This is a great recipe and very simple. I love the simple things in life. Btw to those who don't know, TPA cheesecake Graham crust is just a stronger version of Graham cracker. There is no cheesecake in this flavor. The name throws everyone off though. It did me too until I done some research on this flavor. If you like this recipe I recommend trying strawberry fog from this site. You won't regret it.
Strawberry fog By Spectrometer is the one I'm referring to. It has Bavarian cream and vanilla custard added to the mix. It's very similar to unicorn milk
Just mixed this up, dropped the strawberry by 2% though. I like a creamier vape. Gonna try it as a SnV and after a 5 day Steep, will report back, but for now it smells delicious!
I vape right after mix & shake it, really..really good flavor.. buat after 3 days the flavor is muted.. after mix & shake I keep it in dark place.. may be I do wrong on steeping, need ur suggestion.
I make zero nic, for zero nic it's still need to breath for 2 hours after mix & shake?
Devis, I think that is the problem. This recipe you cannpt breath because the strawberry molecules are faster and smaller and will escape. With any fruit it is the same so just steep without breathing and you will not lose flavor so fast, i love this recipe since i started mixing on day one (this was my first) and I still have this in,my top 5 favorites.
This was one of my first recipes and it doesn't taste like anything to me. Didn't let it breathe (as above), shook it, put it in warm water (only for about half an hr), shook again. Tried it day of mixing, next day and day after and still can't taste much. Will try adding sweetener next time. Any other suggestions welcome!
Same issue as A_L. Tastes like nothing. Also, didn't let it breathe, been shaking the sh#t out of it, and no Nic. Smells divine, but that's about as far as it goes. I wasted all my Strawberry Ripe on this.
I added 2% Vanilla Swirl to this recipe (just got my DIY stuff & thought it would be good), S&V to try just now... my God. I haven't tried the original recipe to compare, but it's pretty delicious straight after mixing!
Good recipe! First one that works for me.
Definitely going to mod this one, cut back 1 or 2% on the cheesecake and add a sweet cream and or sweet strawberry.
@cincinnatiking Or not, unless you're willing to pay more (for more flavor, or a sweeter flavor). Sweetener can and will destroy your coils more quickly than using base flavors (which I'm certain already contain sweeteners). If you're okay with that, then by all means, go for it. You will absolutely have more flavor and sweeter flavors. I'm not being condescending, I know text can come off that way. But in the same way your taste buds can become accustomed to black coffee, IPA's, straight liquor, vegetables, whole grain bread, or anything else that could be considered an acquired taste, your taste buds will become accustomed to juice without excessive sweetener. For the price, I highly recommend using/making juices without added sweetener. You may have "vapor's tongue" sooner than usual at first, but this gives you more time to experiment and change things up, much in the same way that when quitting smoking you have to become accustomed to vaping. Then, when your taste buds are less accustomed to sweeteners, base flavors are enhanced and you spend less money on sucralose and coils. Have fun, DIY'ers! Much Peace & Love.
I have been enjoying this simple recipe for a couple years one of my go to still .what I'm driving at is mixing juice there wouldn't be so many mixers if everybody like the same thing but my comment I believe it was roughly number 14 when this was first out still stands the same today I like this stuff and it is a good shake and vape but after 3 days it really starts to come out after two weeks it's even better. I'll bet you I Vaped almost a half a gallon of this mix and it's always when I'm out of juice like tonight my go-to mix for shake and vape just as it's listed and I can darn sure taste strawberries
This was my very first DIY ejuice attempt, tried a 10ml bottle first then immediately made 120ml after trying it! I have bought many different cheesecake ejuices over the years and didn't like any of them, I just thought I didn't like to vape cheesecake but I bought cheesecake flavoring because it is in so many recipes, soooo glad I did. I love this stuff, far better than any I have ever bought and so simple to make. Thank you!
Sure you can imtheswindler. I don't see why not. You may have to use a slight higher percentage but first I'd try it with same percentage and let it steep a little while and try it. The good thing about DIY vaping is you can always try using what you have on hand just make small batches that way if it doesn't come out the way you like it you aren't out much $.
Oops. This was my first diy tonight and already messed it up. Accidentally forgot to click calculate after changing pg/vg from 50/50 to 18/32. I now have a 50/50 Strawberry cheesecake steeping. lol. anyone know if this will be terrible? I usually vape 70/30
Hazey, it shouldn't be terrible (if anything, it might be more flavorful), but depending on your atomizer (not sure if that's the right word, but you know what I mean) it might be a bit harsh or it might leak.
I also want to edit my last comment on here. If the juice isn't flavorful/sweet enough, then add a small amount of sweetener until you get it to where you want it to be. In relatively small amounts sweetener isn't the end of the world/your coils, it could be exactly what is needed to suit your palate (I still haven't used it in DIY but I have some now if I want to), I think I was just sick of how quickly my coils/cotton would gunk from commercial juice and was projecting that (I was somewhat new to DIY when posting that).
After week of steep still too much of a cheesecake and none of a strawberry :( Not a fan of single cheesecake. I guess I'll let it steep for another week.
I made this tonight and accidentally put in 6% tfa Graham cracker by mistake after I put in the strawberry ripe (I’m not the type of person to waste liquids ;) so I’ll vape it anyway) so I finished the liquid but after finishing the recipe it smells good, strawberry is coming out straight away, I gave it two 20 mins hot water baths (shook before, during and after these hot water baths after a lick test it tastes good to me and the test vape is for me personally is great now to let it steep for aleast 3 weeks and see how it is. I can’t wait for it
Shaking twice a day (no breathing) and on the 3rd day tastes really good! Strawberry is on point but the cheesecake probably needs a bit more time to come. I'll steep for another week. Thx for the recipe!
Dont steep this recipe for a long time like more than 3 weeks. I let mine sit for a month. The strawberry is gone and i did mix the same%. May remix and some more strawberry at the end of steeping the cheesecake part. I think the cheesecake part could use some work too. To help build to make it a little fuller.
Love this one I did it with strawberry ripe and added1% graham cracker let it steep 7 to 10 days boom spot on. Then I did a batch with 4% blueberry extra and 3% blueberry wild tpa and 1 % graham cracker also great.

Thank You. 3 weeks of steeping. No problems with strawberry (fading), everything mixed together in a great way. P.S. I'm new DIYer (a view months) and i've heard about strawberry ripe fading with long steeping - never had a problems with that and in this mix it smells still fresh, ripe and taste like a... strawberry cheesecake!!! haha.
Excellent, I've also substituted Sweet Strawberry in for Strawberry Ripe (I ran out of Ripe), at the same concentration, and it worked just fine as well. Gone through 180ml so far. It's just fine as a SnV, but after 3-5 days or so the flavor really settles and comes out.
not bad at all. made a 60ml shake-n-vape and it's great. i find some of the best flavours are some of the most basic flavours (something I should remember when I keep getting carried away adding things). trying out some mixes with blueberry tonight. will be sure to leave an update
I am mixing this today... Most of the ppl who can't taste the strawberry.. Well your probably in that small niche who just can't taste strawberry... And sb ripe fades..it needs another SB to keep it alive.. Will add some vso sb
And report back...
I am impressed with how tasty for how simple. It gets 5 stars from me. Maybe it should be 4 because Im sure it could be a little tastier, but it's really good already and for 2 ingredients amazing. I did let it steep for a month. When I tasted it I had forgotten ingredients were in the recipe and just assumed it had some custard in it. After looking, whoa no custard. Only strawberry (which I don't always taste much) and cheesecake graham, which I often find too grahamy for me, but I really liked this one. I could vape the whole bottle and probably make more. This might be the recipe that makes me rebuy cheesecake graham (I know, you're thinking, crazy, it's a must have, you should buy it anyway), but like I said I often don't care much for the graham and was considering NY cheesecake next time, because I like my creamies but with less biscuit etc. Fantastic recipe, 5 star from me.
Simply great.. been vaping strawberry milks all week and after letting this one sit for a week it’s really amazing. Never thought I’d like a simple two flavour recipe this much. I can taste the strawberry and I’ve been vaping strawberry ripe all week so I don’t know how people are missing the strawberry but I’d probably add 1%straw shisha or something if I couldn’t taste it. But as is, really perfect for all day vape... whipping up a 100ml batch right now.
Glad to see people still love this recipe. Long after I have quit vaping and still smoke free over two and a half years. If you a life long vapor or on your road to quitting. Thanks for the comments I still enjoy reading all of them even the hate mail. Keep it real fellas.... BIGTINY
Have not tested until now, but i know in some mixes the strawberry goes after 6-7 days, but ist coming back after 2 or 3 weeks.
This is how some flavours work!
