Mixed this, hesitantly, a week ago with a few of my own changes -- my first single flavor experiences with Glory weren't very encouraging; Initially, I detected a few notes reminiscent of DK tobacco, which I'm almost sure I despise, which put me off to experimentation with it further...

I don't have smoke and prunes, however, I do have Gold and Silver; I opted to take it in a different direction, though, with .2% AP and 1% Oakwood, omitting the fruity component.

I gotta tell ya, man, I've been chasing a couple particular flavor profiles from when I first started vaping for a couple of years and the end result of this variation happens to fall into one of those veins. Holy crap... I'm a RPRY4 whore but experiment often, most resulting in something between "meh" and trash... After the 15ml tester I just pounded, I might have a new ADV! Just mixed up a 120 because I'm pretty confident this is gonna remain in my rotation for quite some time...

I substituted smoke and prunes and used smoked plum INAWERA. Awesome!!!

Probably an infinitely better choice! ; ) The INW S&P can be kinda upfront and overpowering at times... even at a low percent! Glad you found a sweet spot with the alternative. ; )

Hey @Kinnikinnick enjoyed many of your recipes. You're a great mixer. I don't have Dulce De Leche, do you think adding more caramel (2%) + bavarian cream (2%) would be a good sub? Maybe some brown sugar as well? And do you have a recommended steep, I'm assuming a 2 weeks+? Thanks.

The subs would be fine, IMO. Sometimes, it's all about making it work for your tastebuds when you don't exactly have every flavor at your disposal. I found it hard to find a DDL which I really enjoyed to the fullest, so, perhaps your subs will be the magic the recipe needs. ; )

2/3 weeks of steep time should be good... put it away for a month or so and you'll really be surprised!

Thanks. I like that Glory as a standalone doesn't need much steep for a bacco IMO (even if it alters a bit) but when mixed it does seem take a while to mesh.

And FYI Skiddlzninja recently made a DDL base he describes as "Meant to be used as a stone, or can be used alone for a rich dulce de leche flavor without the artificial chocolate notes": https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/49382
Looks like he agrees with bavarian cream, caramel, and brown sugar but also has sweet cream and vanilla swirl which makes sense.

Also on the reddit DIY sub, Chrisdvr1 had a positive review of the JF's DDL and some others agree, might be worth a try if you haven't yet. The TFA/FW DDLs reviews weren't as good, mainly due to artificial / inauthentic flavors.

I'll have to trust you on all the DDL info and hope that you find the right combo for your mixes! I've tailed off of bottled flavors, minus a few for mixing my wifes juices, and have gone 100% NET with my juices. I was always kind of a tobacco hound anyway, so making my own NET extracts and juice was just a matter of course and time. Good luck in your quest! ; )

@Kinnikinnick Just tried this one too. Just in one word "Excellent" taste/smell. Now steeping game start. How long do you steep normally? 4 week? I’d say, give this one 3 or 4 weeks... the Smoke and Prunes needs some time to mellow.
