Notes
8 day steep: this is maturing very well. The grape is right up top; fruity, juicy and turning from a grape juice to a perfectly ripe red/purple grape. The creams are coming into focus and are sitting nicely at the bottom adding depth to the recipe. Feel free to sub the marshmallow with your favorite version, though the NF is really good, it's just adding sweetness and texture to the cream and ripening the grape i believe. This is a very well balanced recipe, no off notes, no candy effect. Can't wait to taste this at 4weeks!

21 days: grape is outstanding, cream could be more creamy, but overall this is a great recipe. I still have about 30mls left, going to try to let it sit for another week and get a V3 going to up the creaminess. Just for fun. This is a complete recipe that I would love if I bought it at a shop. I'd buy lots if it!

NF marshmallow is from diyvaporsupply
RF are from ECX and RF directly.

Meyer Lemon is a hybrid of a lemon and mandarin orange, but it is basically just fresh squeezed and strained lemon juice.

Hi. I've been taking bloody ages to get together the ingredients for this, but I'm bloody determined! I'm probably going to have to use SC Marshmallow intread of NF, Will that be OK, do you think? same %? Also am thinking of using a combo of MF lemon and MF mandarin instead of the Meyer. Again, would appreciate suggestion for equivalent %. Thanks!

Hi! It's been a while since I've used real lemon as an additive. I'd say yes to the MF lemon and Mandarin, but really just one drop of each per 30mls, and that might be too much from what I've read about the Lemon. I wasnt trying to taste either of those, but add a bit of citric acid pop the high end on the grapes. I've used MF Nectarine to pair with grapes recently at a low %, too. Yum!

I haven't tried the RFSC Marshmallow yet, but if it tastes like a real marshmallow, go for it! Same percent should be fine, I've found the NF MM to follow my usual % for most of the RFSCs. I use it under 1% as an additive, and 2-2.75% for a real MM. It was only there to add sweetness and a touch of thickness to the feel of it. Let me know how it goes!!

Also, I'd up the Cream RFVG a bit, naybe to 1.5, i was wanting a bit more creaam in this but never got around to it.

Oh! Feel free to ignore all these extra changes, like I said in the notes, it's fine as-is and your subs should work just as well. But, if I were to mix this today, I'd add Grape MF at .6% to boost the RFSC, but if I didn't have that, I'd try the Grape RFSC at 2% instead of 1.75%. Grain of salt on that, just what I would do now. Maybe you'd be safest trying it as close to the original as possible and change it up on the next run if you think it needs anything extra. Cheers!

thanks for the pointers! yep, I'll try it as close to orig as pos;. you never know if the extra cream or whatever might do something weird to it! I! right then! this is going into my next mixing session :) I'll let you know how it goes!
oh! btw, will you promise NOT to delete this one! (came to refer back to v1 awhile back, and found it was gone!)

Damn. don't know if maybe my subs ruined it, but @ 4 weeks, i'm getting no recognisable flavour from this, not from sniffing the bottle, it's just not working out at all. nor vaping it. i'll put it back in the steeping drawer, see how it goes, and find another of yours to try out. Sorry I've nothing constructive to contribute :(

Oh, no! After all this time getting the supplies?! I'm sorry thus isn't working out. Can you PM a link to your version?

I'm wondering how much EM might be in the RF Marshmallow! NF being an extract, might not have any. That could be a culprit. Also, I haven't tested this in PG-free mode. I haven't had any issues getting full flavor with my other recipes when I remove the PG, but I just haven't tried with this one(my wife doesn't like grape;) I dont dilute with any water when I do that, just remove PG. There could be a difference if you add water. You might try removing MM, and upping the total flavor % by 5% or something if you dilute your VG. I noticed a loss in flavor when I tried using DW to dilute.

thanks :) getting a really unpleasant chemical taste from this, TBH. I know that could be due to the way this combines with that, and i think you're right that the NF marshmallow is likely a much better choice;but what i want to do next is SF test the various ingredients, especially the grape. I've an idea that I just don't like that grape! also, according to tasting notes, seems it goes through (possibly temporary) fade. I thought to try with different coils/ wattages, but the taste when vaping so exxactly matches the scent from the bottle, I'm pretty sure I'd be barking up the wrong tree there.

MUST beg steal borrow or buy that NF Marshmallow , but $14/16 a throw plus international postage is a bit of a drag *sigh * not doing it any time soon! currently holding out in hope that DIYVS suddenly start offering international shipping! ( I asked them nicely, but no reply :( )
