5 day steep sorry thought I put that in and also I use JF biscuit because I was getting a weird after taste with inawera but you could still use it I'm sure it will still be good I love this recipe and JF biscuit is worth getting.
Thanks for the recommended steep time. I still need to make this. The biscuit gives it that lemon tart pastry type background note? That’s the one thing that for me, makes it different then all the other lemon tart Vapes. It has the distinguishable graham type/crust/curd type flavor. I don’t know what it’s calld but I think u get what I mean.
It has been so long since I tried the real thing its hard to compare. I feel it was a bit more lemony so I'm going to sub FW LMP for Cap, and I had to use INW Biscuit [at a lower %]. Having said that, this is fantastic and I will be mixing more of it anyway. Certainly very close, and the best one I have tried. Love this. Highly recommended.
i’ve been trying to figure this juice out for so long. You think their using capella LMP? It smells to me like flavor west but everytime i make a sample recipe with either of the LMP it smells nothing like dinner lady. Im starting to think maybe they just used a mix of lemons and FA meringue. I wish i could figure it out! I’ll give this one a go
Don't use inawera biscuit. It's reformulated and tastes nothing like it used to. Dinner lady does have lemon meringue pie FW in it. This is a good recipe.
Some people are using FA Apple pie for the pastry flavour. At low % you don't taste any apple. I've tried so many recipes of this and am yet to find one that is spot on. This is a good recipe though.
This is my favorite dllt. I made it just as you have it and also using inawera biscuit and fa cookie at 1% each in place of jf biscuit. Tastes the same either way. Good work and thank you.
