Note: I've got close to 35,000 total views on my previous Kanzi recipes. I speak from a place of seriousness and intense experimentation and knowledge of this ejuice. I've lived and breathed with it for years now.
I've tried to clone this recipe since the 4th day after I started vaping over 2 years ago. After about 14 months of trying, and after I'd stopped using this this website, I went back to the drawing board and bought Flavour Art ingredients for the 1st time. It took me a while but I cracked the code.
I've successfully done it and no one who mixes this, waits 5 days and tries it in a blind side by side can deny it. I'm telling you this is their actual production recipe from what I can tell. I came back to post this because I believe ejuice companies rob people with their overpriced juice and I earned the right to spread this info based on the months and years and hundreds of batches and dollars on ingredients I spent so you don't have to. This is my (vape) life's work: enjoy!
Important: USE TFA/TPA SWEETENER. DO NOT USE CAP SUPER SWEET OR ETHYL MALTOL...YOU WILL RUIN IT. THEY CAN BE USED AS SUBS BUT IT EITHER WON'T BE KANZI AND/OR YOU'LL DESTROY YOUR COILS. USE CAP SUPER SWEET AS SUB AT 1.333% BUT IT WON'T BE KANZI. DON'T USE STRAIGHT ETHYL MALTOL AS SUB AT ALL IN ANY AMOUNT IT WON'T BE GOOD.
This is THE Kanzi recipe so please don't mix it and say it's too sweet in the comments. It's a copy of another ejuice that you find too sweet. Titrate sweetener accordingly based on personal taste if you want a better vape but make it exactly if you want 12 Monkeys Kanzi.
You can sub TPA/TFA Kiwi but use it at 2.2%. Use TPA/TFA Double Kiwi as sub at 1.4%. God's Speed and please repay me by sharing this recipe far and wide everywhere. Thank you for your time. You will not be disappointed I promise you; mix this juice if Kanzi is what you seek.
I've never used flavour west sweetener. I'd read up on forums and see if it's an acceptable 1:1 substitute for TPA/TFA Sweetener according to others. It's worth a try for sure but won't be the real Kanzi. Cheers.
I bought all ingredients and by the way the watermelon from FA is really fantastic.
Ok so I mixed up your recipe and all I can say is 'oh my god'
This juice is extremely good!
I bought luckily enough flavor to make much much more of it.
Thank you so much for sharing you recipe.
Great right off the bat with a shake n vape. I dropped sweetener to 1% as 3% is sickening to me. Fruity strawberry and kiwi, watermelon being in the background mainly. Delicious and definitely my favourite version of Kanzi so far.
Ok. This is my absolute favorite mainstream juice. I have prepared several versions of this and this one is by far the closest to the original. There is something missing, though. I think it’s a dash of citrus like blood orange or tangerine. I know this because I’ve spent the last 2 weeks tasting the original and my recipe attempts over and over again. I keep buying the original to compare. If I we can nail this, it would be amazeballs beyond anything else in the known multiverse.
I started DIY for the first time. I started with this one because I recently discovered Twelve Monkeys and the Kanzi in particular has become my new ADV. I made it. Let it rest for a week and it is spot on!! Thanks for your hard work!
I'm sure you will hate me for saying this, but it's a fact, there's no way this is the same recipe that 12 Monkeys use because all Malaysian vape companies use a 60 year old Malaysian flavoring company called Reka.
I'm sure it can taste very similar, but it's not the factory recipe. It's probably using Reka Watermelon, Reka Kiwi, Reka Ripe Strawberry, and Reka Sugar Rush. If there's cooling it's using Reka Blizzard.
You can order directly from Reka but they have minimum order 25 liters. 5 liters per flavor, min 5 flavors.
You can find some Reka flavors on chefs under the name Wrecka. There you can get smaller amounts.
OK I followed your advice immediately after reading it and ordered 5 liters of each aroma + another 5 ilters of Reka Ripe Strawberry.
Took 2 months to arrive but when it did I was very excited. I mixed a large batch as I'm not going to run out of aroma's anytime soon anyway, and let things steep for a couple of days. Then I tried and was slightly diappointed that the result was prettty far from Kanzi (I also ordered 25 liters of Kanzi. I ordered in Canada but since it has to come from Malaysia I figured the Canadians probably have the same minimun, right?
Anyway, so the Kanzi and your suggested clone aren't even close after a few days. So I steeped a week, then a month and then a year. After steeping it for a year both juices were actually getting close to the taste of VG and sucralose, and in that sense they were more alike than ever before, but I'm not convinced this is what's supposed to happen.
My main issue was that I didn't know why the two juices weren't a close match: I had all the right ingredients from your list and genuine Kanzi on the other side. So I figured that maybe my 25 liters batch of Kanzi was somehow a bad batch.. After ordering another 25 liters it dawned on me that any of the Reka aromas could be a bad batch as well, so I also ordered 5 more liters of those as well (and 10 liters Watermelon instead of Strawberry....)
That was three weeks ago, so another 3 weeks and then hopefully we can finally solve the mystery.
Germanaaizer and Rush, you're obviously byuing Kanzi through a Canadian reseller just like I did. The stuff is from Malaysia though: that's why the perfect clone has to be made with Reka aromas.
Never tried original and didn't have a sweetener, but after a week (maybe less) of steeping it's really good. Awesome juice to wait for my queensnake to be ready, definitely goes to my TOP-5, thank you!
Have the flavours for this so what the hell give it a go. I have tasted the original way back when i started vaping. Curious if it is close, if not oh well still looks good i will comment back with my findings.
Upped the kiwi to 1.5% as something was missing on the end! According to a kanzi fanatic this is spot on and he now only vapes this version!! Thanks for your hard work @wildcard a true clone!!
@Monotom
I manage a vape store in the UK that orders directly from Twelve Monkeys and I can assure you they are based in Canada and are 100% a Canadian Company and simply checking their website will confirm as such.
Your statement still contains very useful information and has come in helpful in my quest to either find, or successfully create clones of awesome Malaysian juices, such as Tasty Fruity, Fantasi, Nasty Juice, Horny etc.
