Notes

The primary taste of Banudding Cake is fruity fried plantain bananas with a hint of creamy smooth pudding, so even though the name sounds a bit misleading, the cake-part comes becomes more prominent as it steeps. It's a delicious banana treat! Vape it after a day, or let it steep to develop delicious nuances! You can add a little caramel or butterscotch to it, if you want to shake it up a bit.

I used the colorless Banana Cream (LA)!

Tried adding Joy (FA) - I liked it better without. I also tried increasing Biscuit (Inawera), but the original was better.

/u/Bonzoo tried this, and thought it was almost exactly like eating platanos maduros (cut up fried plantain bananas) - it only needs a little caramel. I have a version of this steeping with 0.4% Butterscotch (FA)

With 0.4% Butterscotch (FA) it's richer, more earthy - I can see what he meant with fried plantains! It does get a slight perfumey taste.

With 0.4% Caramel (FA) it is delicious!

Get it as a concentrate from Flavor Jungle: https://flavorjungle.com/collections/diy-mixers-showcase/products/banudding-cake-one-shots?variant=16574760484922

Just mixed this..... Have you tried it yet with the (FA) Joy added?
#2 by Lars, Sep 7. 2015, 04:06
Yes, I like it better without. I also tried with a bit more Biscuit. I like the original better :)
#3 by Zeu_vapoteuse, Oct 28. 2015, 04:04
Awesome sauce Lars. Thanks for sharing!
#4 by CoccoBill, Oct 30. 2015, 07:13
Did you try it with 0.4% FA caramel yet? Very very good after a 2 week steep.
#5 by Lars, Oct 30. 2015, 11:51
I did try it with Caramel, and I liked it!

I have one steeping with New York Cheesecake (Cap) instead of Cheesecake (Graham Crust) (TPA) :)
#6 by Lostmarbles, Nov 17. 2015, 06:08
Had to use TPA Banana Cream and FW Sweet Cream and I'm happy to say I finally found a banana flavored vape that I actually like. I may have to order these two flavors just to see what the difference is. Thanks for posting.
#7 by john70, Nov 19. 2015, 19:49
Is there a need to add the extra PG ? I am trying to reduce by using stronger flavours as my body seems to have issues with it
#8 by Lars, Nov 19. 2015, 21:24
John70, you should be able to go max VG if you want! :)
#9 by HoneyGram57, Nov 21. 2015, 19:53
Is there something I can substitute in place of the Biscuit (INAWERA)? I'm allergic to Inawera flavors, don't know what's in there but just can vape their stuff..throat closed down in a few puffs! I've used (CAPS) Apple Pie in a few recipes for the crust flavor, would that work here?
#10 by Lars, Nov 21. 2015, 23:34
HoneyGram57, There is very little biscuit in it - you could try with Cookie (FA) or Apple Pie (FA) in the same percentage. Feel free to try with Apple Pie (Cap) instead - you might need slightly more of it...
#11 by HoneyGram57, Nov 22. 2015, 00:58
With that in mind, since I have ALL of those flavors, I may mix up all 3! lol Thanks!
#12 by SthrnMixer, Dec 12. 2015, 05:07
Had to sub the Banana Cream with INW Banana. If this recipe is any better with the Banana Cream I don't know if I could hold it together...this is some killer stuff man! Honestly I'm going to have to get some of that BC and do this one again, Awesome recipe brother.
#13 by Lars, Dec 15. 2015, 23:53
SthrnMixer - I do think the distinct flavor of Banana Cream (LA) (in my case colorless) plays a central role in this recipe; it would definitely be a different recipe with it subbed! :)
#14 by SthrnMixer, Dec 20. 2015, 08:27
Well I'm going to have to get some of that Banana Cream then, thanks Lars. With the INW Banana I was vaping this like it was my last minute on earth so I can't wait to try it with the right ingredients.
#15 by LordVapor, Dec 24. 2015, 06:14
I am going to have to try this. I may sub in Flavorah Custard though because I have yet to try it out. This looks like a very yummy recipe to try it on. Do you have a preference over Butterscotch or Caramel?
#16 by Lars, Dec 24. 2015, 06:35
Caramel was slightly more my taste :)
#17 by RavenHairDoll, Feb 3. 2016, 22:32
Would DX Banana Cream (TPA) work? Thank you...
#18 by Lars, Feb 3. 2016, 22:47
Dunno, but it would be a *completely* different recipe.
#19 by Solace71, Feb 20. 2016, 18:32
Use Tpa Banana cream and added the Fa caramel. Really good thanks for sharing.
#20 by x47vapes, Feb 22. 2016, 01:57
I made this on 2/11 and it taste just like banana pudding!
thanks for recipe.
#21 by Lars, Mar 6. 2016, 05:38
The color should be the only difference, but I've only ever tried the colorless version... Unless you prefer not to vape coloring, give it a go :)
#22 by donnah, May 26. 2016, 23:08
excellent recipe! Thanks!
#23 by tmckeithan, Jun 30. 2016, 00:50
Just tried it after a 6 day steep and it is awesome, I am going to try it next with Caramel, and I am thinking of popping in a few drops of FLV Rich Cinnamon to make it a touch more spicy. Really great recipe!
#24 by 45 CALIBER JUICES', Jul 25. 2016, 00:01
Thanks, Lars I will give this try!
#25 by Mercury, Aug 2. 2016, 01:25
Although I'm not a picky eater, it turns out I'm a picky vaper and this recipe was a win. Thanks Lars!!
#26 by norwegianvaper, Aug 20. 2016, 00:04
Hello Lars. I am enjoying this site very much thank you. But at least here in Norway @"NDS kjøkkenet", they worn us about LA flavors. They claim they`re not suitable for vaping because it contains oil. But I`m not a chemist ;) . Ha en riktig god natt og sov godt :)
#27 by Lars, Aug 20. 2016, 00:11
Hey norwegianvaper :) Godt at have nogle skandinaver her :)
Some LorAnn-flavorings contain oil, some contain artificial coloring (Banana Cream contains "Yellow 5", but I am using the colorless version). Check this sheet out: http://bestvaporflavors.com/best-lorann-oils-vaping/ - there you can see which should be safe (enough) to vape :) God nat og sov godt! :D
#28 by 45 CALIBER JUICES', Aug 20. 2016, 00:12
just the flavors that have oils and emulsions, and extracts @norwegianvaper.
#29 by 45 CALIBER JUICES', Aug 20. 2016, 03:02
@ Lars, oh forgot the coloring, and you say it so much better lol
#30 by norwegianvaper, Aug 20. 2016, 18:00
@Lars and @45 CALIBER JUICES`.Thank you for that, this recipe look very tasty. I have to try that out. Stolt av at en skandinav har laget dette flotte nettstedet. :)
#31 by 45 CALIBER JUICES', Aug 20. 2016, 21:02
That's what we are here for to help when we can.
#32 by Bitchin' Liquids, Sep 25. 2016, 18:58
Think I can sub the cream fresh with sweet cream (tfa)?
#33 by Lars, Sep 25. 2016, 22:51
Whipped Cream (TPA) or Sweet Cream (Cap) would be better - but give it a go :)
#34 by Biso, Oct 11. 2016, 14:00
@Lars, from my limited experience I know the Cream Fresh is quite strong and usually used at 0.5%... So at 1.5% would be too much? Or will it different percentages give different taste tones?
#35 by Biso, Oct 11. 2016, 14:03
@Lars, sorry another question as I am still learning, at what percentage would Whipped Cream (TPA) give a similar effect as Fresh Cream (FA), multiply by 3?
#36 by Lars, Oct 11. 2016, 14:49
Cream Fresh can be used at higher than 0.5% (as you can see) - it will obviously be more "in your face", but in general it will just smooth out a recipe and make it creamier - I've used it at 2% with success.
To me Cream Fresh is much more neutral than Whipped Cream - I would not triple it. In this recipe I would try it at 2-2.5% and add more if necessary (which I doubt)...
#37 by Lolly, Oct 14. 2016, 19:46
Made with max vg, left it alone for 2 days...this is a beautiful banana pudding dessert vape!
#38 by Loukas , Oct 18. 2016, 14:10
It's perfect Lars! Thank you alot for this recipe! Perfect balance for me! Everyone should try it!! 5/5
#39 by norwegianvaper, Oct 21. 2016, 11:19
Hi again Lars. You gave me an awesome link once, where I could find the banana cream clear and several other brands beside LorAnn's. But I have lost it. Do you remember where it was? It was in EU, I think it was in the UK. The site also had suggestions on what % to start out with the flavors. I need som TFA, FA and INW . Could somebody help me with a link? I am in Scandinavia, so it is often very expensive shipping when buying from US
#40 by Lars, Oct 21. 2016, 17:28
Chef's Vapour, the Vapour Depot, pink mule, the chosen few are good places in the EU :)
#41 by strat, Oct 26. 2016, 19:37
Looks like a solid recipe, I mixed 60mls. will report back in thirty days. thanks for the recipe.
#42 by norwegianvaper, Oct 27. 2016, 14:12
Last question Lars and everyone, would swapping out the INW Biscotto with FA Cookie work on this one?
#43 by Lars, Oct 27. 2016, 15:59
Sure, they're different, but it's only used to give a hint - that hint could just as well be from Cookie (FA) - You could also leave it out completely.
#44 by norwegianvaper, Oct 28. 2016, 13:12
Thank you very much again Lars. Then I think I will try this one, over "Bombies nana cream" Or maybe both. :)
#45 by nournour550, Nov 3. 2016, 14:27
very very good one can you look at this recipe and tell me ur opnion e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/981131/banana%20cream%20pie
#46 by jj, Nov 17. 2016, 14:17
Just finish my 4 weeks old Banudding ... Wow/amazing juive :-) Lucky me - a new batch is in the "black box" moving forward. @norwegianvaper (min Norske nabo :-)) I need to meintion that FA are cheap in Poland, best offer I have found.
#47 by strat, Nov 18. 2016, 03:20
I made 50 mls of this. After a 4 week steep, its....... great! I'll make 100 mls today. very good recipe. thanks. One of my top 5 so far.
#48 by norwegianvaper, Nov 18. 2016, 12:41
Mixed this October 25th. Had to sub the Inw Biscuit with FA Cookie. It was delicious right from the mix, and now, easy the best banana blend I have ever tasted. Thank you so much Lars. Now I have got the Biscuit and will try to see if there are any differences.Lovely vape.5 stars.
#49 by norwegianvaper, Nov 18. 2016, 12:46
@ jj Hei nabo :) Svensk/Dansk? Thank you for the tip. I will look into that. Yea, this juice is awesome, still have some days before mine is four weeks. Do it get any better?
#50 by Lars, Nov 18. 2016, 13:01
norwegianvaper - If it's almost 4 weeks you can vape it - it won't change much! :)
#51 by The_Ckemist, Nov 21. 2016, 12:14
LARS, you did a great job on this recipe buddy, I tried a bottle I made 2 months ago last night & it's lovely, it's a very fruity banana isn't it, I don't want to say it's a candy banana as that's a wrong interpretation, it's more a really fruity banana front end with a creamy back end, I'm actually digging LA Banana cream big time now lol, as u always taste it right through the vape, I sometimes find TPA banana cream can drop off after a few draws even, anyway you really nailed this recipe and I'm adding it too my daily rotation, I rotate 3 juices each day and normally change them round once a week, but one of the three I keep going a few weeks and feel this is that one for now ha, cheers buddy and thanks again for sharing this awesome recipe with us :-)
#52 by The_Ckemist, Nov 21. 2016, 12:22
I look forward to your future recipes and wait in the shadows with great anticipation noW ha....
#53 by benjy337, Dec 17. 2016, 07:38
I made this as max VG, good as a SNV but I can tell it will be better after a steep, great recipe, thanks.
#54 by natbone, Dec 27. 2016, 13:45
Wow, first Banana flavor, both Store bought and DIY, that I actually like. As a SnV it's very damn close. A couple of days and this will rock. Thanks.
#55 by strat, Jan 5. 2017, 15:00
I waited 30 days and tried it, wasn't great, waited about two more weeks and WOW I fell in love, added a little mint because I'm a mint freak, just finished off 100 mils, will be mixing up another 100 tomorrow, it's now in my monthly rotation. One of the best yet, a good change. I even added a drop or two of keylime just for fun, really great recipe Lars, thank you
#56 by natbone, Jan 21. 2017, 09:36
I made this and tried it after 3 days and it was ok. I then waited 3 weeks and now it's very good. it's got just enough sweetness, like a ripe banana and the banana taste is near spot on. The base is full and smooth with a touch of grain from the Biscuit.

The next batch I'll try Banana Cream from TPA. It's a bit fuller and creamier, so it's worth exploring.

Great job, Lars. Well done.
#57 by strat, Jan 28. 2017, 08:53
reporting back kinda late, I've made 200 mils of this so far, it's great, one of my favorites for sure, wondering how it would be if I bumped the banana up 1% more, it's amazing, thanks good recipe
#58 by willem , Jan 31. 2017, 17:36

thanks for sharing, I'm going to try this with you, I made him exacou substituent
I am all the while looking for a good banana flavor with cake / cream backgroundtly as y
#59 by strat, Jan 31. 2017, 18:07
I made another 200 mils, last night. it's so smooth and full of flavor.
#60 by willem , Jan 31. 2017, 18:45
the only thing I've changed is the banana cream I've taken my tfa LorAnn was not enough so see if this good is he is now in YM for an hour or 10
#61 by natbone, Feb 8. 2017, 18:12
I've tried both TFA and LA banana cream and they're equally good. The TFA is a bit creamier, that's all. I also tried with a bit of Caramel. It's ok, but I felt it detracted from the flavor a bit. The recipe as it is works great. It's my #1 ADV for the two weeks. I have 500 ml sitting in the closet as the VC matures.
Great stuff.
#62 by pmvART, Mar 19. 2017, 21:19
I just got some Banana Cream (LA). This is a really tasty recipe right away...with a little time most likely even better. Thanks for sharing! 5*'s
#63 by Brahhhndon, Mar 23. 2017, 06:26
Anyone tried this with TFA Vanilla Custard? Haven't had the chance to get CAP Vanilla Custard
#64 by cincinnatiking, Apr 2. 2017, 05:08
It is a very excellent recipe. On spot with it's name. I put it in the top 5 I have mixed so far. Thanks for sharing!
#65 by DrChud, Apr 2. 2017, 21:53
This one is fan fucking tastic.
#66 by Brahhhndon, Apr 9. 2017, 07:21
This stuff is incredible!!! Thanks for sharing this delicious recipe!
#67 by Boston, Jul 27. 2017, 03:44
I've made almost every single recipe on the first page. This one beats them all. Balls on banana pudding. I added .06g cap sugar cookie to mine just for an extra hint of nilla Wafer and .5% super sweet. This is the best thing I've vaped period. Good job dude.
#68 by Little Blue Screwdriver, Sep 22. 2017, 12:24
Is the LA Banana Cream a tank cracker? Oh and it's very good. I don't usually like banana flavors but this one is great.
#69 by Lars, Sep 22. 2017, 13:52
Banana Cream (LA) isn't a tank cracker AFAIK - The normal version does contain dye which is unsuitable for vaping (I use the un-dyed version) :)
#70 by Brandolf, Oct 21. 2017, 02:16
My very favorite banana anything! So creamy and smooth. Thanks for sharing.
#71 by Euan, Nov 6. 2017, 06:59
I love this recipe Lars, definitely one of my favourites. A really fruity banana flavour that just seems to get better with age. Thanks for sharing.
#72 by Calikid, Nov 11. 2017, 08:25
Change to 6mg and 30/70 .. Awesome flavor after just a quick shake I'm hoping it lasts long enough to see what it's like with at least a few days steep time
#73 by Eggsaladsandwichhead, Nov 18. 2017, 04:33
This is delicious! Mixed at 50/50, just because that's my go to. Love it, it's so vibrant.
#74 by Rudrar, Jan 26. 2018, 20:56
Hey Lars .. If I add caramel will be it enough or do I have to butterscotch also. I am trying ur receipe.
#75 by SnakeGB, Jan 26. 2018, 21:41
Made it with caramel (DA) at 0.6% been steeping 6 weeks and is delishious
#76 by Lars, Jan 26. 2018, 23:54
Rudrar, Caramel is enough, but you can do whatever you will with it - It's a nice base to add a little of something on top of :)
#77 by Poison_blood, Feb 10. 2018, 20:38
Really good all day vape! Thanks for a great banana recipe.
#78 by Kloque, Feb 18. 2018, 02:38
I just made it like this:

Banana Cream (LA) 4.00%

Biscuit (INAWERA) 0.20%

Cheesecake (Graham Crust) (TPA) 2.50%

Butter Cream (Cap) 1.50%

Vanilla Custard v1 (CAP) 4.30%

Dairy Milk (TPA) 1.00%
#79 by cincinnatiking, Feb 23. 2018, 18:47
Probably the best banana recipe I've ever made. It's one of my friends favorites. Mixing him a big batch now. Get's a lot better the longer it steeps.
#80 by Rudrar, Mar 4. 2018, 21:57
Hi Lars I made the first batch smells good. Though I used TPA banana cream since I couldn't La banana cream. Do I need to change the percentage for banana cream.
#81 by Lars, Mar 5. 2018, 02:18
I haven't tried it with Banana Cream (TPA), but looking at the stats for both, they're similar in strength. I wouldn't change the percentage...
#82 by strat, Mar 5. 2018, 13:05
Lars, I've made this recipe and love it, so do my friends. I want to make more tomorrow but don't have any fresh cream, I have a lot of other creams, I know it won't be the same but what do you suggest? and please don't suggest I buy some fresh cream, lol. I'm in the Philippines, hard to get flavors sometimes.
#83 by strat, Mar 5. 2018, 13:06
best banana vape I've had. 5 stars.
#84 by ozorian, Jun 10. 2018, 12:54
amazing!!
#85 by Cstober, Jun 13. 2018, 19:06
@strat the best FA Fresh Cream substitute I hear is FLV Cream
#86 by strat, Jun 14. 2018, 12:38
thanks cstober, actually I found a site that has everything, he he, I have flv cream now too, just got it, haven't used it yet, I have fresh cream now too. this is a great recipe even with a sub or two.
#87 by Cstober, Jun 20. 2018, 21:29
Indeed, this juice really came together after a steep. At first it tasted like runts with custard on the very tail of the exhale, roughly a week later it's a completely different flavor - more natural & sweet banana with a crispy fried taste. Love it!
#88 by Tiner361, Jun 24. 2018, 02:59
Mixing this tonight. I’ll report back in a few with my opinion. I love Banana Cream so this should be pleasurable
#89 by Justin L. Franks, Jul 21. 2018, 13:54
Nice and simple. I replaced the FA Cream Fresh with 1.5% TPA Whipped Cream, since I think it definitely needs a dollop of whipped cream on top.
#90 by BigFoot #1, Sep 11. 2018, 03:09
@ 2 weeks steep i get a smooth creamy banana pudding. I mixed a 60 mil and glad i did going to vape half and steep some more. This recipe is going into my love folder.
#91 by Tiner361, Sep 11. 2018, 03:54
It’s great. Finally got into my bottle
#92 by Matek's Mayhem, Sep 29. 2018, 08:01
Made it as stated and at a loss. Let it steep for a week. Smelling it, all I can smell is banana, vaping it, I can taste everything but banana. What set up is being used? Maybe I am set up wrong.
#93 by Euan, Sep 29. 2018, 08:58
Matek - add more banana. I like it with 6.5%-7% LA Banana Cream
#94 by Matek's Mayhem, Sep 29. 2018, 16:56
Euan thanks.
#95 by KentuckyKloudZ, Dec 7. 2018, 03:49
Hey Lars could I possibly sub the LA banana crm for tfa banana cream?
#96 by Lars, Dec 7. 2018, 14:38
It won't be exactly the same, but you should be able to sub it for TPA without changing anything... :)
#97 by KentuckyKloudZ, Dec 7. 2018, 15:42
Thanks bud I'm gonna whip it up!
#98 by Flyguy, Dec 8. 2018, 22:58
Mixed up a batch last month. Nice and smooth. Good feel and nothing overpowering. This one is a keeper!
#99 by KentuckyKloudZ, Dec 17. 2018, 04:15
Yo I just went ahead and cracked her open after only a 10 day steep this stuff is really bomb!! Subbed the LA banana crm for TPA banana crm. Gonna go ahead and throw an order together so I can actually try the original with no sub's. Thank you Lars!
#100 by DewyRoss, Dec 28. 2018, 03:55
This is delicious. Nicotine river was sold out if LA banana cream so I subbedfor tpa and it came out amazing.really great recipe. Thank you for Sharing it!

#104 by dannyb784, Jul 17. 2019, 08:18
I really wanted to like this one the flavor is great but it's a bit harsh to me. I'm using an RDA between 60-80w so maybe that's why? Id like to try this one again any suggestions on how to smooth it out a bit?
#105 by Lars, Jul 17. 2019, 10:22
I've mostly been vaping this MTL, but when I made it, I did try it on a RTA at ~90w - I don't remember if it was harsh, but I don't think so. I guess you could try lowering the total % to around 11% or maybe add a couple of drops MTS Vape Wizard (or even Smooth). Did you let it steep for a good bit?
#106 by CatWood Tears N Joy, Sep 17. 2019, 10:40
You made this back in 2015 and it's still alive and kicking! I made it, I vaped it, I loved it! Nice throat hit, great recipe for lovers of banana vapes, thank you and I copied it, lol. 5 stars.
#107 by Jw21034 , May 12. 2020, 17:48
I make this from my wife all the time. She loves it
#108 by roknbot, Oct 6. 2020, 05:44
What percentage should I use for the Flavor Jungle one shot of this? Unless I'm blind, I can't see it anywhere on the bottle.
#109 by Lars, Oct 6. 2020, 10:06
@roknbot, it should say 12.5% as here on the recipe :)
#110 by roknbot, Oct 6. 2020, 20:31
@Lars Oh ok, I get it now. Thanks!
#111 by Andy42k, Oct 15. 2020, 20:56
Has anyone tried this with TPA VAN CUSTARD 2? I have both, just curious.
#112 by Mindfloodz, Oct 21. 2020, 20:59
I love this stuff! I will be making 100 ml's of this as soon as my bottles shipment arrives. Almost through my 30ml I made a week ago. Been trying it each day, and each day it gets better and better. 5 Stars
#113 by Galatea, Jun 7. 2021, 03:58
very good~

6 years and still going strong !!
That's amazing !
#116 by uscgrd, Dec 5. 2022, 04:21
I love this recipe. Going to try it with Caramel (FA). Just have to tinker with the percentages.
