This site would be 1000x more useful and fun if users kept 95% of their recipes private. Especially single-flavor and recipes that they adapted from someone else. I'm sure that I'm just shouting into a vacuum here, but I dislike digging through so much sand to find a pearl.

You're not shouting into a vacuum though - We're amused on the forum, and I think everyone agrees.

I do have a plan to write a script that marks all recipes that are adaptions (but has no flavor changes) as private. I never saw the idea in sharing single flavor recipes, but I didn't want to prohibit it, so I made the "Hide single flavor recipes"...

In the future, after the script is run, it will not be possible to make a recipe public if you adapted and didn't change the flavoring part...

.....and there will be much rejoicing after you do that Lars!

Could you put something in for the lesser known flavorings. Ordered a bunch of Signature flavors, and there is very little in the database about them.

I will be dropping notes as use them for any flavorings that lack them.

Adam's Apple - SIgnature flavors is TPA, which is why there are so few of them - I merge them into TPA because they're duplicates :)

So you use the resulting liquid as a flavour concentrate, but at what percentage?
For example, if the recipe calls for 3% honey, you just use 3% of this recipe?

I cant share a recipe and its not adapted.

All adapted recipes that are just nic or pg/vgchanges really should be private, cant stand seeing 50 Mothers milk recipes and even the ones that are different are usually....use 1.4% instead of 1.5% for MY version... REALLY?

Tpa Honey IMHO is very very weak at this percentage.

Joy on the other hand was a little high. 9% will suffice here.
