I am so glad you took all the trial and error to try to perfect this. I can't wait to make this but unfortunately I don't have the whipped cream. I have so many flavorings and can't believe that I still haven't gotten that one yet. How was this with CAP Vanilla Whipped Cream?
Ahhhh, thank you. I'm not sure yet on how it came out with the vanilla whipped cream. I mixed it on 4/11, so I have a few more days to the 4 week steep. I always steep 4 weeks before testing. This one especially I have noticed does better with the longer steep. The raspberry blends better. I will update it in a few days when I try it. Thank you so much for your interest. I do recommend the TFA Whipped Cream though, it's very good and fluffy and authentic tasting. But I have heard amazing things about the vanilla WC, so I'm excited to try it :)
I didn't like the vanilla whipped cream version. It doesn't taste like zinger to me, gave an off flavor to me. The coconut was still good, but not strong enough at the 1.5, would do it at the same percentage as the TFA. Was worth trying though :) Going to try the next batch with .25 pyure luquid stevia for sweetening and see if it's better with sweetener. I do like it without, I just like to experiment!
hello Rose, don't have coco candy...
did you finally tried with sweet coco?
and can I remplace coco candy with sweet coco flv , and what % would be OK, for you Rose ?
excuse me to ask you so much questions, but would like mix your recipies as close as possible ..
so thanks again Rose...hope my english is not too horrible !!
I did try the FLV Sweet Coconut, and it was good at the 1.5%. I still preferred the Coconut Candy as it has more of that baking candied coconut flavor vs a sweetened natural coconut like FLV. But if that is what you have, go for it :)
And your english is great, and I welcome questions. I'm by no means an expert, but that's how we learn, and I ask questions all the time :)
thank you Rose, I understand better now how to use the 2 coco
both are sweetened ,but by a different way (baked v naturel).
have to order the coco candy instead using the flv for this recipie.
