Great recipe - surprised it's not more highly rated. I also subbed with TFA custard. I thought the pineapple might be too much for me (guess I'm sensitive to that flavor) but it's fine and adds a great punch. I used LA Banana Cream Colored - but only because I bought it before I learned colorless flavors is generally the way to go. 5 star juice for sure.

I am going to omit the coconut. I do not like coconut at all. Maybe put some whipped cream in its place.

Made this last night but I'm going to let it steep due to the custard & creams. Smelled real nice, though. Thanks for sharing. I'll be back to let you know what I think.

I just wanted to report back that I experienced some fading of the LA Banana Cream, so last week I made another batch, subbing in TFA Banana Cream. I tested it after 4 days & believe it is even better than with the LA. A little more authentic & less candy-ish. Don't get me wrong, I love LABC, but think I may end up preferring this one with the TFA. Oy teah, after3-4 weeks (original recipe), the pineapple came forward too much (or the BC just faded too much), so this time I backed the pineapple down to .5%. So far so good! Thanks.
