How long do you steep this?
#2 by Xan, Jan 3. 2016, 10:20
Best at five-seven days - but I vape it fresh, too.

Thank you, @Xan . I'll go ahead and order more Pistachio to make this then. :)

I hope you enjoy it - no one has ever tried my juice but me before. Lemme know if it's good or if I'm nuts. :)

Had enough Pistachio to make up 22ml of this after all. Initial test vape after mixing proved promising! I'll let you know how it steeps. Thank you.

WOW... just... Wow. What a great job you did, @Xan !!! This is one really nice, smooth pistachio cheesecake. I only let it steep 5 days so far...... it's wonderful. It may not last to steep longer, but I'm making more. Thank you so much for sharing!

I made this 2 days ago and I'm loving it. Thanks so much for sharing it.

Loving it! Made it up in a 80/20 at 2mg, used a drill to blend it till it turned white and let it steep for 3 days, tastes pretty dang awesome.

I didn't have Pistachio (TPA) so I substituted (FA). Not sure if it makes a big difference, but it's a very nice vape after a 1 day steep. I was just too curious about this one, going to let it steep for the rest of the week now.
After 1 day, you don't get a lot of cheescake but I think after some steeping it'll come through better.
A perfect vape if you need a break from all the sweetness!

This recipe sounds really good. I have FA Pistachio and CAP Toasted Almond any thoughts on how they might be, substituted in this recipe, same percentages maybe? Thanks!
#13 by Suomynona, Dec 15. 2016, 13:45
@pmvART I can't say about the CAP Toasted, but the FA Pistachio is definitely NICE! I've made the juice 2 days ago and I just can't put it down...
It's a strong flavored juice and I love it, but if you don't like the flavor to be very strong, you can probably even tune down the % used.
I am definitely going to make another 30ml batch today so it has a couple days to steep before I finish my first 30ml bottle.

@pmvART here you can find more comments on the differences between toasted almond flavors: www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/37f4yu/fa_almond_notes_a_must_have/

@Jake..thank you so much for the lowdown on the FA Pistachio for this recipe. I'm going to check out that link too thanks!

I've had this juice sit for a couple months and after a long steep, the nuttiness just becomes more and more and it drowns out the cheesecake completely. Hence, the name "Cheesecake dream" is not at all descriptive for this recipe.
I would really drop the nut % and increase the cheesecake % and maybe add a little drop of liquid amber or some other additive.

this is really good
