Running this on a hot build, I have to say, it is very satisfying. Mellow banana. The nilla wafers come out nicely with a very smooth banana background.
Made this with what i had on hand.. Had to sub in Banana (FW), at the same %. It's had 2 days to sit and steep, been a difficult task to leave it alone. I'm sure the creams will come to life more with a bit more time to sit. I will mix this recipe again to try a proper steep and i will also try a variant with a bit of Fresh Cream (FA) added to the mix. I would also like to say Childz sums up the profile adequately. Very yummy.
Will report back in a few weeks time.
Let me know how your addition of Fresh Cream turns out. I never got a good % with that so I gave up on it. You are right. A 2 week steep on this makes it super smooth with the cream. Problem I run into is I don't keep it around long enough to get past the 2nd week. I just made 4 100ml bottles of it. That should take me into the 3rd week. We'll see.
As of right now, i still haven't dared alter this recipe. Been busy with reno's lately but i will get around to playing with this a bit soon as things slow down around here.
That being said.. This stuff is so bomb. It's been a hit with my 6 or so friends that have tried it out this far.
Well done.
Would this still be good you think if I skipped over banana and added maybe 7 or 8% banana cream? No plain banana and don't want to buy it just for this recipe and don't feel like id use it often.
Understood. The same could be said for any substitution or compensation, of course. Noted and if I come across banana for some reason I'll be sure to give this a mixin'.
How would Ripe Banana and TPA Vanilla Custard sub into this? I know Ripe Banana is quite potent but along with the banana cream its all I have at the min. Thanks
I'm going to try this out with ripe banana as I can't seem to find plain ol' banana anywhere. Anyone try with this flavor sub and have a recommendation for %?
I think I'd try cap banana here instead of ripe banana. Matter of fact, I have cap banana so I'll give it a try. It will be a few days until my mixing day comes around.
I subbed cap banana for tfa. After two day steep it is pretty good. Even the wife likes it. Vaped on kayfun v3 mini 316l ss 3mm 5/6 wraps at 330 degrees.
