At first I was just giving it a few hours in a warm water bath and vaping on it, but I started noticing it was tasting a LOT better after 4-7 days of actual steep time. The malt and vanilla start really coming through whereas right off the strawberry overpowers them and it just tastes like a sweet strawberries and cream.
Honestly, DanHank, I've never had a bottle last me that long. By the time it's a week and a half old it's a tasty memory! lol Right off (Shake n' Vape) It's a sweet creamy Strawberry flavor. Usually after a few days the vanilla starts to come forward in the taste profile and the Malt seems to cut down the sweetness a little. I'd say it tastes a lot like a Strawberry Shake at that point. At one week in the Malt begins to be a light, but distinct flavor on it's own. If you let one steep 2-3 weeks I'd love to hear your opinion.
03rejo, Sorry about that. I tried to "adapt" this to make a peach malted shake and the original recipe disappeared! Peach was tasty, but I like the stronger flavor Strawberry brings to the table. Somehow when I "adapted" the flavor back and changed the name back to "Strawberry Malted Milkshake" the old comments came back and I made it public again.
Mixed this using ws23 and at 65/35. At 2 weeks steep i just cracked it open, dripped it on fresh cotton in my Kennedy rda and all i can say is WOW!!!!! Great taste!!! Thanks for sharing!
