This recipe was taken from YouTube. I have no idea who the poster is.
I can't tell you all how much I hope this works! I have been mxing and mixing and mixing trying to figure this one out. I love Cuttwood's version. Before I started DIY, it had become one of my favorites.
Mixed and steeping.
I don't even want to try it as a SnV.

Keep us posted MCS2 ya never know until you try it. FW also has a new flavor Fruity Flakes that may be a great addition to this.

How did it come out? I have also been trying to clone this

It seems close. But it is a steeper. The original is as well. Time will tell.
I have a well steeped bottle of Bird Brains, I've been contemplating picking up a fresher bottle to compare.

Let us know how it turns out. Im not a lemon pledge taste fan and that's why I like BB. Problem is Fruit Rings also has that pledge taste IMO. I'd love to find a DIY cereal recipe without the pledginess.

I def think a little raspberry sweet and some blueberry both at 1% would work in this recipe. I def taste raspberry in bird brains.

Maybe try 4% Fruit Rings (FW) 4% Fruity Flakes (FW) and 2% Meringue (FA) Happy Bird Brains Vaping !

OK, it's steeped long enough for a verdict.
More LEMON PLEDGE. grrrr.

Last ditch effort before sending it down the drain.... adding 2 drops of Smooth (TPA) per 10 ml. I'll let it sit a few more days and see what it does.

There is a touch of lemon in bird brains, in the background. It's a candied lemon and really goes unnoticed. I've been vaping bird brains daily smelling and tasting it. Attempting to reverse engineer it. I just ordered fruit rings fruity flakes meringue and cream fresh. Can't wait to get to work on this! I bought looper after trying bird brains thinking it would be similar and according to the hype even better. Well I hated it! It was disgusting. It had no grainy cereal notes and was super lemony citrusy, unvapeable. Nothing close to bird brains. I recently tried it after letting it sit for months and the lemon definetly mellowed out big time, still not my kinda flavor. While this recipe may be a good starting point to bird brains, I'm positive there's more flavors to it. Together we can do this!! 🤓😁

Was afraid the lemon pledge taste would be there. I did a sample mix of fruit rings and got the pledge taste. Same with fruit circles.

Maybe 2% Fruit Rings (FW) 8% Fruity Flakes (FW) 1% Meringue (FA) 1% of Acetyl Pyrazine and a splash of Ethol Maltol for a smoother with some Cream Fresh (FA) as VapeQueen mentioned. Just throwing some ideas out there people as my budget says no more mixing costs at the moment.

What is fruity flakes like? I haven't been able to find any notes or reviews on it

So what's the verdict HC2S, how did it come out after the adjustments?
#14 by HC2S, Feb 5. 2016, 21:27
Not a bad vape... still has that "furniture polish" aspect to it. It isn't Bird Brains for sure.

Capella's sweet strawberry or TFA's strawberry ripe seem to work really well to not only cut out (or at least mellow) the lemony taste from fruit rings, but to bring forward the fruitiness as well. I make a cereal vape folks seem to like better than bird brains...taste being subjective.

Anyone nailed the birds brain? :)

I don't think Cuttwood uses FW

Used FA Fruit circles worked great.
