Notes
One of my favourite juices cloned to perfection

Can be a s&v but definitely recommend atleast one week of steeping (not aired just shake daily) for it to fully gather.

This is my adv that I constantly fall back on #perfection

Ps I've had this in the bag for a long time but now decided to share it to see what you all think

Glad you like it @buttvapistm, no surprise since I've had so much positive feedback in other places and it's made its way round the different forums.
#3 by GoudaChris, Mar 16. 2016, 13:52
Have you added anything to it since?

The isle of custards custard donut is identical in every way to sweet cloudz vanilla glazed donut which is rare to get hold of so will be interested in making this when some of flavoirs im waiting on arrive, cant wait to try :)

would Cap vanilla cust v1 work with the recipe?
#10 by ja55on, Sep 8. 2016, 09:23
Although v1 is a staple in the custard mixing shadows it has been tested in this recipe and it's just not right so definitely use v2 where possible but if it's all you have feel free to let me know what you personally think

It's worth noting I found v2 steeps a lot faster
#11 by Matt-war, Sep 16. 2016, 16:59
Thank you for the recipie!
Just wanted to say I made this with cap vc v1 as I don't have any vc2 and it tastes really good. Obviously can't compare it to v2 as I haven't tried it with that.
Also I think if you lowered the doughnut down a few % then added some vanilla, DDE and maybe another cream it could make a really good stand alone custard.
Will definitely be making more of this tho!
#12 by ja55on, Sep 16. 2016, 20:44
Ah nice one mate, I'd definitely recommend getting some v2 in, As I stated before I've tried with both and v2 definitely gives me so much more back in this recipe besides the accelerated steep time that comes with v2.

I like your idea of making a vanilla custard. Will look into it this weekend and come back In few weeks with the results.
#13 by Matt-war, Sep 16. 2016, 22:09
Thank you for the reply
Yea I will get some in on me next order. Let us know if you come up with anything nice with the custard. I love custard juice but I'm a bit fussy with them, everyone's idea of a custard is different really. A good custard to me taste like ambrosia Devon custard! Haha. If I could replicate that it would be awesome.
When I've got some spare time I'll mess around with it to, I'll let you know if I make anything worthwhile.
Thanks again buddy

I made this with v1 and it was very good, close to the original imo
#16 by GeoAletras, Apr 12. 2017, 18:56
This is one of the best recipes ever made!!! So simple but soooo tasty! Thank you!!!!
#17 by harry_vaper, Apr 23. 2017, 22:51
This one reminds me of Jammy Doughnuts. Well I have mixed them up both, I will see which one is the winner in a couple of weeks :)

How far off would the taste be if I used cake batter dip? Or should I just wait?
#20 by NapFloridian, Sep 25. 2017, 04:18
Could you use flavors from TPA instead of CAP?
#21 by ja55on, Sep 25. 2017, 09:38
@NapFloridian yes you can but you won't end up with the same results lol. I personally dislike TPA custard and think it tastes nothing like custard. I would suggest just ordering in the CAP stuff and maybe make a small quantity of both and seeing which you prefer.. Will definitely be different.
#22 by NapFloridian, Sep 25. 2017, 18:14
@ja55on, yeah I know that the flavors going to be off a bit, the thing is I have the big bottle deal directly from TPA which CAP does not do. However I may agree that some people like the Custard better from CAP then from TPA, I have personally no issues with their custard at all. My next order will be a CAP order from EcigExpress as I order my base from them.

Thanks Jasson for sharing this with us

OK, I have a batch of this juice and it was sitting about 4 days and it is getting real good. Let it sit, it will get better

Can I sub with chocolate glazed doughnut?
#27 by ja55on, Jul 3. 2019, 17:58
luuul, not gonna tell you what you can and can't do but chocolate glazed doughnut is completely different to straight glazed doughnut.
#28 by LeckerDryhit, May 8. 2020, 16:18
I made it with cake batter v2 two months ago und testing it now.
Pretty good so far, thx for sharing.
#29 by Zugmaschine, Apr 14. 2021, 20:32
High in flavour but also high in taste.
I made variations with 5% TPA VC V2 and with 2% WF Glazed Doughnut, they turn out also great.
But all need 3-5 days minimum steeping to coming togeher. More is better.
