Just made this (exact recipie) - very creamy blend with weak strawberry - hint of cheese (not cheesecake... cheese). No biscuit base to the taste.. think it would benefit from some INW biscuit or Yellow cake. Dude, I do like all your recipes, but just some feedback - they are all a bit weak in flavour - I find I need to add extra % here and there otherwise they all taste... watered down. I didn't in this case, did it exact... and just as I expected... quite weak flavour. Could be me, "vapors tongue" and all that... but I'm trying them in clapton builds from 40W up to 75W - in tanks rather than RDAs... so maybe that's it.
I have to say the same thing @Rafkoo.This recipe is very weak for my taste even though i'm vaping on a rda with dual claptons.I guess i'll have to raise the percentage on everything to adept it to my taste
I am a long time cheesecake fan and I must say this is the best cheesecake I've ever had it's cheesy but sweet with the perfect amount of graham cracker and the strawberry is on point it's not at all week for me I'm vaping it on an RDA at 120 W this is a wonderful recipe nice job Wayne thanks for sharing ! (:
Mixed exact and let sit over night and I have to agree with @Rafkoo and @Matzn on this one. Too cheesy tasting and not like a cheesecake cheesy. Almost like a slightly spoiled cheese covered up with sucralose. the strawberry seems to be just adding more sweetness and not much berry. I'm thinking this one won't get better with steeping, but I'll try it in another week and update if has.
@Rafkoo @Matzn @KGuardian thanks for all your input guys. That's very odd to me because what I have mixed up and from the testers I have all saying its very vibrant. Also that the cheese note is so subtle that it's only there to identify the flavor as a cheesecake. You shouldn't be getting a spoiled cheese note at all. I'll try some more troubleshooting and get back to you guys.
@ENYAWREKLAW Thanx for getting back to us man.i really appreciate that.like before i just can agree with Rafkoo that i also was very excited to try this out because it's quite hard to find a good cheesecake recipe.
I love your funfetti so much that i mixed up 130ml instantly : )
Keep up the good work!
I made adaptation because I'm aware of the strong cheese flavour of sweet cream. I did a quarter of the amount called for, then the added FA Fresh Cream to fill in the the percentage remaining. I also added Cheesecake (Graham Crust) (TPA) at 0.75% to get that graham crust flavour to really pop. I currently have it steeping, but from my quick sample its really rocking and no bad cheese tones.
Prolly is vapor's tongue. I've got it quite bad right now. I first noticed it when Boardwalk started to taste faint, then all other juices I have went bland. I'm basically using the same setup you are. 50 watts through a clapton via tank.
@ENYAWREKLAW Cheers for the understanding - and keep on mixing dude. @ffrank Sure, quite possibly... going though about 15ml+ of juice a day so quite likely! :O
@DIY_IZZ_LIFE-57 Those creams and Graham is the "Cheesestone" base. Take that and add it to a fruit pairing of your choice. Lemon Raspberry sounds fucking dope. I'll see what I can do to make that. I'm thinking CAP Lemon Meringue 4% INW Raspberry Koncentrat 0.5% with a 3 day steep.
@Rafkoo if you think you're suffering from some bad VT, try taking a break from vaping. When you DIY you're pounding your olfactory senses with very strong concentrates so you can easily blow out your palate. It happens to me a lot and I wrote a piece about it HERE -> http://diyordievaping.com/2015/08/23/if-you-love-mixing-dont-vape/
A wierd question Wayne, but do you possibly think maybe a little Lemon Sicily FA would help this recipe a bit? I know real cheesecake has a hint of lemon in it.. and from what I understand (Lemon) is key in a real cheesecake recipe.
Dude you are the s**t, your mag your podcast your recipes everything. What you contribute to DIY and the vaping world is priceless. Don't ever stop. With that said I'm a loyal podcast listener and donated money to your cause through your diyordie website as you deserve it. Any away sorry for the long post here but can you on your podcast talk about the minimum drops per ml in a recipe. I just started to mix by weight so it's not really an issue for me but mixers just starting out could maybe use this info. Thanks and happy mixing.
I could really use your expertise on which chocolate milk to use. Just got through watching one of your videos where you mentioned the Unicorn Milk Leak recipe. Im wanting to use the same creams from that recipe but takeout the strawberry and replace it with a chocolate to have a great creamy chocolate milk to vape on but there are so many so which one would give me more of a smooth creamy chocolate instead of a bitter cocoa like taste? Thanks Again.
As others have said I have gotten a very strong cheese taste. To combat this I lowered the NYCC to 5% and added cheesecake graham cracker crust TPA at 2%, I also dropped the graham cracker clear as I didn't see a need for it after the other addition. After doing this the cheese flavor lessoned slightly, but more importantly is that it paired better with the other flavors to bring out a more cream cheese flavor (main ingredient of cheesecake). I also tried it with dropping the strawberry and adding 3% raspberry sweet TPA and so far that's my favorite version.
I'm honestly not getting the cheese like everyone else. I'm not getting much cheesecake at all tbh. I think it's just the CAP cheesecake. TFA cheesecake tastes perfect to me, but the CAP just doesn't feel like cheesecake for some reason. Tasty recipe nonetheless
I've found NY Cheesecake is VERY cheesey to me. I tried a vendor juice that I swear was just cheese and when I got my DIY stuff with CAP ny cheesecake, I immediately recognized it. I also can't taste strawberry very well so I'm sure this recipe would be a cheese disaster for me.
Thanks for posting man! really enjoying this despite the fact that I thought I'd never like cheesecake vapes. I tried one vendors cheesecake (Xpotios) one time and I fucking hated it despite loving all the rest of their juices so I figured me and cheesecake just didn't jive... Boy was I wrong as I love this recipie (I did have to halve the sucralose though). The best thing about it is that it provides an awesome cheesecake base that you can insert your favorite toppings onto. I got a bunch of MF this week so I've been trying them on the cheesecake base instead of mixing them as single flavors.
Dude I fucking love this recipe. Using cap super sweet I find it needs a 3 day steep otherwise it is sickeningly sweet. But after 3 days of steeping its fucking amazing! This has become an adv of mine! Love that the strawberry is just there and isn't overpowering like other strawberry recipes. So yum!
Thanks @It's a dry heat, @FadedColour, @Mfloyd73, and @therealDR-Gonzo. To those who are having issues with CAP NY Cheesecake, how old is your flavoring, and where did you get it from? It seems we might have another CGD situation on our hands.

My NYCC is under a month old and from gremlinDIY so I know it's not a problem with the flavoring. I think it's more of the high percentage giving off a strong cheese flavor. It also seems to be overpowering the other flavors. Dropping NYCC down to 4% seems to help alot though.
I have two bottles. Both purchased from BCV and both in the original Capella bottle. One is maybe 2 months old, the other is not even a month. I already tried mixing it with both bottles because I had thought about something maybe being off with one, but it was no different. Some of us are probably just more sensitive to higher %'s of NYC and/or sucralose and need to make adjustments like Burtrick did.
YO WAYNE~! I'm always looking forward to your Youtube videos, Podcast and updates!!!!!! When i saw you on this sight i realized i had to holler at you! Your amazing dude! Keep up the hard work! TBH you inspired me to DIY 6 months back. I said to myself.....if this ninja can do it so can I! LOL Love you dude.
Hey Wayne when you said to turn it into a lemon raspberry cheesecake I should do Capellas lemon meringue at 4% and inaweras raspberry at .5% did you mean Capella's lemon meringue pie? Because I went to go and order lemon meringue but I can't find capellas Lemon meringue I can only find lemon meringue pie ?
Great recipe. Def one of the best/simple/realistic cheesecakes I've had. Anybody have and ideas for what flavors and %'s to make this into a blueberry cheesecake? I'm thinking BB Wild and BB Extra, but can't find a good percentage.
@KAZIRRO - I don't see why not. CAP Sweet Cream and TPA Sweet Cream are basically the same strength so just keep it at the same percentage and you will be fine.
This is the cheesy-est cheesecake I have vaped, and I mean that in a good way! At first I felt like the guys above because it was so shockingly cheesy, I was ready to dump it. BUT I kept vaping it and for some reason all of the sudden it started to make sense to my mouth. I now think it is absolutely delicious. I have a blueberry one steeping and I;m excited to taste the above mentioned raspberry lemon try.
Indeed. After 6 days or so the cheesecake really comes out and kicks you right in the face. Its nice. Try mixing everything but the fruit and let it steep for a week. Then throw in the fruit and that shit really pops.
@ffrank I did a blueberry try, I will taste it this weekend and let you know how my specific combo worked. I believe I did a 3%-4% FW Blueberry and 1% FA Bilberry.
@KGuardian From my mix after an overnight steep do turn out very cheesy even at 30-35w. So is the cheesecake from REAL. To me its spot on and I expect it would take time for the strawberry to steep out.
I tried the old single malt scotch method and added on drop of water to the juice with each tank....crazy but the strawberry came straight out.
@MCYL I never tried the store bought one so I didn't know it was supposed to be real cheesy. I think it was that and the sweetness that turned me off. And thanks for the water drop tip. I'll have to give that a try.
I made a version with .5% Raspberry (INW) and 4% Lemon Meringue Pie (CAP) that is delicious. You lose some of the cheesecake though, so I may try again at .35% Rasp and 3% Lemon.
This is a great recipe. I disagree that it's an SnV though. Give it a couple of days and it's great. A nice cheesecake flavor backed up with a hint of strawberry. I love it. I subbed the strawberry out for Lemon and it tastes just like TheReal's lemon cheesecake (minus the super sweet taste, probably loaded with EM and sweetner). That was my ADV before getting into DIY. Also, i could be wrong but i think TheReal e-juice line folded, so not only do i get to save money, but i get my ADV for way less. Thanks Wayne.
Too much cheesecake for my taste, Would love to taste more strawberry, will try to nake one with less cheesecake and more strawberry. I also tried to make one with blueberry, bought the blueberries you recommended in your video. In the V2 I of my blueberry cheesecake I used 2% Bilberry and 5% Bluberry TPA, but I should have used less cheesecake, I used 5% and 3% would do it for me.
The Real was my all-time favorite eJuice but it doesn't seem like they're selling it anymore!!! So I made this last night and WOW amazing!!! You can bet that I will not miss it anymore... Thanks Wayne!!!
Shhhhhh no one speak while I am enjoying this awesome juice! I am not getting the cheesy flavor other are getting. Just nice bright strawberry cheesecake. Everything I had hoped it would be. Like many others have said, thank you for this awesome recipe.
Great flavor on this one. Shake and vape yes, but definitely shines after a week of sitting. Working on the lemon version, but haven't quite got it yet. Lemon Meringue doesn't work like I thought. It's most likely lemon Sicily, but I haven't gotten the percentage quite right yet.
Okay I loved this when I first mixed it but at 3 weeks out it has lost most of its flavor. I wonder if the sucralose has muted everything? I freshened up the remainder with .5% each ingredient except sucralose and it went right back to being flavorful again.
dude, wayne, this recipie is phenomenal! i could have sworn i hated cheesecake flavors! but no. they are baddass!!! the use of sweetener to bring down that crusty sock flavor that is so prevalent in so many cheesecake recipies must have been one of those "eureka" moments i swear. using CAP sweet cream almost like a bouncer saying "when the flavors are too tall or crazy to ride" it creates a ceiling and any funk or off note just gets muted. these are the reasons why i think this recipie works when so many others have failed. shake and vape is great but even better at 4 days. i use this with 8mg nic and it covers the pepper taste completely. NOTE: i subbed e-cig express (ECX) sweetener at the same % cause their both 10% dilutions of sucalose and had no problems. keep up the good work, keep fighting the good fight, and i supremely look forward to the next diy or die recipe!
thanks Wayne lovely cheesecake recipe ,best ive had so far, thank you your a juice superstar man . p.s i used no sweetner but used 0.22 grams meringue fa. tastes awsome man. thanks again.
Premium recipe! However after a week of steeping it lost most of the cheesecake flavor and it took on a mostly strawberry creamy flavor. I highly recommend as a shake and vape. My second batch I increased the NYC to 7% and the GCC to 2%. Definitely at the top of my ADV rotation! Thanks Wayne @ENYAWREKLAW !
Very nice recipie! Instead of sweet cream I used FA cream and i didn't use any sweetener so for my taste it is nice and balanced without much sugary flavor. Tastes just like strawberry cheesecake!
Hey wayne. I love this flavor man. I make 200ml batches of this and it goes fast between me and my wife. Only problem I have is that it gunks up my coils. I catch myself cleaning my coils and going through new cotton daily. Im guessing its the sucrolose. Any ideas to modify this great recipe so I dont have to clean em as often. Thanks man. Always enjoy your vids and information. Keep it up.
Hi, this is lovely, i did add a few extras (inw biscuit/fa cookie/graham's crust) myself and didn't add the sweetener, replaced that with a touch of marshmallow, but great to follow a mixing genius.
@ENYAWREKLAW , ive been DIY since my first purchase of overpriced e juice. I learned most of what I know from your youtube vids. I just found out that this is your profile on this site , and im stoked. Ive already mixed a few of your recipes and even used some as base for my own take on your already delicious vapes. Just wanted to say thanks, alot of mixers want to keep their shit a secret, so i appreciate you sharing your knowledge of trial and error.
Compared to all other cheesecake, this one is the cheesiest of them all. Lol. For people that dont like cheesecake, might get that bitter flavour from it.
Its good and sweet cheesecake, personally my favorite amongst other cheesecake recipe.
sadly I have found I don't like sweet strawberry, all recipes I have made with it taste odd (and all the same odd) will make this again without it and up the ripe or maybe add a diff strawberry but even with the off taste I get with sweet strawberry I can see this will be awesome without it . have steeped for over 2 months with regular tastings will def be a 5 star recipe if not for my personal taste difference
Thanks Wayne easy 5 Stars made 100ml 70VG/30PG at 3mg, not really a steep, chucked it in a bag in the Ultrasonic Cleaner for 3 x 9 Minutes. Currently got it in a Cleito on top of a Smok Alien. Stock .4 coil at the moment as I spent all day mixing and couldn't be bothered to build on the RTA. And I'm taking it up slow, not even on 40 W yet & I must say this is an awesome Vape. There is no other way to describe this juice as Strawberry Cheesecake, I can taste the base the soft center and the Strawberry topping. Wow. if this liquid taste like this on a stock coil Which only goes from 40-60, I cannot wait till tomorrow to build a parallel coil so I can take this baby higher, much respect.
Depending on the coil I use on my TFV8 the flavors can be any where from just right to way too strong. I think the strength of the flavor varies greatly based on the individual and their setup. Most flavors I come across from other users on this site have made the flavor way too strong. So I would agree on the upper comments that it may be "weaker" than most on this site,, but to me that is a plus, and is easily changed by the amount used.
Outstanding juice. Steeped a little over a month before tasting - super smooth and creamy. If you like strawberry cheesecake this recipe is a must try.
See i find all diyordie recipes flavourful lol, i find a lot of others on hear ott, i see recipes at 25% and cringe lol, less is more, i vape all these in a tank like rose 3 or kayfun 5 and rarly go over 13 watts and flavor is banging
I agree with the @The_Ckemist DIYorDie recipes are the dogs bollocks, I am actually vaping this juice right now, and it's delicious. Wattage though not so much, I'm at 58w on a Dual Coil Clapton build, Coil Master 26/30 0.297Ohm, built on a Cleito RTA & wow 😳
I personally think this is one of the best juices I've ever vaped. I see what people mean about cheese but that dies down in a few days. I haven't been able to test it over a week because I go through it too fast but it's great as a shake n vape and gets better every day. This time I made a lot to see what it's like after a couple weeks. This recipe is the one that made all the money I've spent on diy worth it. It's a great feeling to know you never have to buy overpriced juice again.
I just made this with a few changes. I didn't have the right cream, so I used cream fresh because I thought I read someone here that they cut back on the sweet cream a bit and made it up with cream fresh. I also added a tiny bit of cheesecake graham cracker crust because I love that flavor. It smells awesome! I can't wait to try it. Thank you for sharing!
I have limited flavors so i had to use cheesecake graham (TPA) at 7% to replace NY Cheesecake and Graham cracker (CAP)..Shake and vape..yummy..gonna try the exact flav next time!
Addictive recipe! Made a sample, it's amazing! Gonna make huge batches of this! Learning lots with your videos and articles! Don't stop doing things like this!
Great recipe, the first one I've ever mixed that I truly enjoy and can vape frequently. I have the same opinion that the flavor is a little bit weak though. Would raising the overall flavorings to 20% help with that? Would even higher, say 25-30% be overkill? I really enjoy sweet and super vibrant flavora
Great recipe, im not sure about these guys saying they cant taste the strawberry maybe you guys are strawberry mute ? To me the strawberry is strong, only 1day steep all i get is a creamy strawberry with a graham cracker undertone i will give the rest a week steeping if it lasts that long lol
Update, still get just a creamy strawberry with GC undertone but now very sweet, to sweet for me i think i will half the sweetener or just cut it out completely, you think i could just maybe use EM by itself at 1% ? I will give that a go too
Wayne uses cyclone citadel. I noticed that each flavor I make while using cyclone citadel, the flavor increases by 50%+ vs all my other RDA/RDTA. I have about 20+ mix well known brand of rda/rdta/tanks and mods etc. I'm guessing this causes other mixers NOT using cyclone to find waynes juices are on the weak side. I also found that having 3-4 mods with dif flavors as my ADV stops me from getting vapor tongue.
