Sounds amazing I can't wait till tomorrow my flavor order is coming!!!!
#2 by Alisa, Feb 19. 2016, 05:39
Woohoo! Love getting new flavorings. :)
#3 by Apathy, Feb 20. 2016, 01:39
I've had the tres Leche for about 6 months, I've tried it in a few things and it just never seems to come out. I love eating tres Leche very much and had high hopes for the flavoring. I'll give this a shot. Thank you Alisa
#4 by Alisa, Feb 20. 2016, 05:25
Please let us know how it turns out for you, @Apathy!
#5 by tlc221981, Feb 20. 2016, 07:23
Man I'm so sad the tres leche and the dulce de leche was on my 2nd order and they are still processing that order So as soon as I get it I will put it together and let you know....
#6 by Uncaged, Feb 22. 2016, 22:41
My first big flavor order is on it's way and I'm just missing DDL for this! I'd like to try it, I do have caramel though, I wonder would that fit nicely instead?
#7 by Alisa, Feb 22. 2016, 23:34
Caramel should work very well in this flavor profile, @Cagey75
#8 by tlc221981, Feb 23. 2016, 00:02
I have a question is there a reason as to why you use FW butterscotch instead of TFA????
#9 by Alisa, Feb 23. 2016, 00:44
I think the FW is a richer butterscotch. I just love it, but the TFA would do well in this recipe too. :)
#10 by tlc221981, Feb 23. 2016, 02:16
Oh I know I was just wondering if there was a reason lol
#11 by CrazyCatLady, Mar 2. 2016, 02:35
Love the creamy vapes so had to order the missing flavors for this one, it looks delicious. Thanks for the recipe :)
#12 by LordVapor, Mar 2. 2016, 22:03
Vaping this right now. And have been since this morning. This is definitely all day vape worthy. It's just as described. Creamy and rich and very tasty. Have you tried this with FLV Butterscotch by chance? When I mix this one I may try that, and sub in FW Sweet Cream for a little extra sweetness. Do you think that would work? Thanks for sharing a bottle with me!
#13 by Alisa, Mar 3. 2016, 01:41
Hey @LordVapor ! You KNOW I love some FLV Butterscotch too. And the FW Sweet CReam is wonderful. It IS sweeter, but would work with this well I think. Glad you like!!

#19 by bronxnino, Mar 27. 2016, 01:20
I've been looking for a tres leches recipe for weeks. I bought some flavors that I thought would fit the bill. When I came across this recipe it turns out I had all the same flavors! Just made 30ml, can't wait to taste it!
#20 by Alisa, Mar 27. 2016, 06:03
Well, I do hope you like it as much as I do, @bronxnino !
#21 by Vape, May 9. 2016, 10:14
Hey Alisa, thanks for the recipe. I let this steep for a couple of weeks and I get a very strong cheesy, sour milk note to the point were I just can't vape it. I haven't done single flavour tests of all these ingredients yet, but am curious as to what might be causing it. I hear Sweet Cream can get like that at higher percentages, just wondering if I'm particularly sensitive. Do you know if this note diminishes with extended steeping? All the ingredients suggest I should love this and I really want to!!
#22 by Alisa, May 9. 2016, 14:41
@Vape .. No, I've not experienced any sourness from this. I'm vaping some this morning that was made on 4/05 . If that happened to me, I might suspect the sweet cream too though and take half of what I made, put it away to steep longer, then perhaps take the other half and dilute with some VG to see if that makes a difference.
#23 by Vape, May 9. 2016, 14:53
Hmm, nice idea, thanks Alisa!
#24 by Framer27, Jul 17. 2016, 18:53
I made a 15 ml tester, and by the time I got 5 mls in I had already made 60 mls to steep. What a great addition to my already staggering list of ADV's. It has a wonderful butterscotch flavor initially, immediately blended with that unique Dulche de Leche taste, and somewhere in the background, the milky Tres Leches flavor gives your mouth a little kick, Absolutely spot on Alisa. Great work :)
#25 by Alisa, Jul 18. 2016, 14:47
Yay! So happy you like it, @Framer27 .
#26 by lola, Sep 24. 2016, 16:25
after more than 1 month steep, I've just tasting it , and WAOUH it's
wonderfully delicious, have to make 200ml more for my friends and me.
you're a very excellent "vape cooker" Alisa. BRAVO !!
#27 by lola, Sep 24. 2016, 16:26
oh... love the picture , good idea Alisa !!
#28 by Alisa, Sep 24. 2016, 16:31
Oh, that's wonderful to hear, Lola. Your post made me smile this morning!
#29 by Drip Kingz, Oct 11. 2016, 23:09
going to give this a try with some yellow cake , will report back after a week of steep
#30 by Tamer El-Meehy, Dec 30. 2016, 12:42
@Alisa This sounds delicious and I want to give it a try, except that I don't have Tres Leches. Any suggestions for a substitute?
#31 by Alisa, Dec 30. 2016, 14:10
@Tamer El-Meehy - I'm sorry, but I really don't know of a sub. If I didn't have it, Tres Leches flavor is similar to a heavy cake doused in heavy cream mixed with sweetened condensed milk. I think I might try some Vanilla Cake of some kind.
#32 by Dio, Jan 12. 2017, 17:01
Exactly as you say.....
Creamy, caramel, cake-like, with a sweet butterscotch base. Rich!
Just PERFECT !!!MANY THANKS!
#33 by Alisa, Jan 13. 2017, 16:27
So very glad you like this one, @Dio . :)
#34 by Loukas , Mar 13. 2017, 22:41
I wanna try but I have only butterscotch Tpa and FLV... Sub at same %? Looks yummy Alisa
#35 by Alisa, Mar 13. 2017, 22:51
@Loukas - I recommend the FLV @2.5% - but, if you use the TFA, use 4%
#36 by Werdup, May 15. 2017, 00:35
Any tips for subbing LA Butterscotch for the FW?
#37 by Alisa, May 15. 2017, 01:21
Sorry @Werdup ... I've never used LA's Butterscotch. FYI though... ELR shows 4.6% to be the average amount used in a mix. You can read people's notes on that flavoring here: e-liquid-recipes.com/flavor/4084?exclsingle=0&filter=0&sort=score&direction=desc#recipes
#38 by Poison_blood, Nov 16. 2017, 16:28
I've to say it's a great recipe, creamy sweet. Great vape. Thanks!
#39 by TwoTone, Jan 22. 2018, 15:58
@Alisa.. I done this at the same time as your "Butterlicious Cookies" because of the profile and near same concentrates. Again what a vape.. Totally lovely.
This is why I gave up smoking. I am going to follow all your recipes as they all have been Outstanding!. Plus I have adapted "Bust A Nut" to a "Bust A Nut Ice Cream" and "Bust A Nut Custard" lol... I hope this was ok hehe...I love it! and THANK YOU Alisa xx
#40 by Alisa, Jan 23. 2018, 01:54
Ahhh... thank you, @TwoTone . Your comments flatter me and I'm truly humbled. It's wonderful to see people adapt my recipes to their own palates. Love it. Vape on!!
#41 by TwoTone, Feb 19. 2018, 15:24
@Alisa.. As with your other recipe (Butterlicious Cookies)..
I tried this one up half a percent also lol. But used "Dulce de Leche Caramel" TPA instead, and I can tell you "I LOVE THIS EVEN MORE" .. Your Such A Wizard "My Lady" xx
#42 by Alisa, Feb 19. 2018, 21:16
That's awesome, @TwoTone ! Thanks for taking the time to comment.
#43 by Biso, May 27. 2018, 00:38
Have you tried FW butterscotch (natural) as opposed to FW butterscotch? What is the difference? And are they interchangeable?
#44 by Alisa, May 27. 2018, 01:11
@Biso - I haven't tried the natural version. I've read that some love it more and others don't. I'm just going to stick with this one and the FLV version (which is also great).
#45 by Gliese, May 11. 2019, 10:08
Beautiful vape, I only knocked up a 10ml tester of this and waited 3 days. Doubt it'll see out the 8-10 days steep. I'll definitely be mixing this 1 again!
#46 by Edvardsen, Aug 26. 2019, 14:13
Thanks! Really good recipe!
#47 by Trojanwax, Dec 3. 2020, 05:53
