Well do you want Milky or Creamy? lol if you want a milk flavor I suggest checking out TFA's malted milk. If you're looking for a creamy flavor this base is pretty good. The original milkstone is great for a subtle creamy addition.
@juicejunky94 The cream bases go well with most fruit flavors.
@PDXJLB Cherry flavors are generally hard to work with and most end up tasting like cough syrup. I have yet to find one that doesn't. There are also much creamier flavors to work with. I've heard good things about Vienna Cream but have yet to try it.
@SerpentDrago, you might try lowering it, or using it in a recipe before making a final decision. You can also attempt to replace TPA's version of Coconut with another brand.
Hey eternity, thanks a bunch for putting this idea forward, i was very intrigued about milkstone after i read it in a couple of recipes, kept searching for it on google but couldn't find the flavor lol! Now i get it, ill give it a try for sure, i have a feeling the presteeping and blending will benefit the cremes. They're generally take to long to age anyways. Great Idea!
Have you tried one with new york cheesecake or cheesecake Graham Crust? Along with the cremes. in my head it seems to be a winning mix for fruits as well.. Anyways Thanks for the idea.
hello,
which coco would be a good substitute for coco extra please ?
-coco cap
-coco flv
-sweet coco
-coco DV
and at how much % please ?
hope you (or someone ) will help me ...
thanks !
Hey eternity... I dont have the coconut extra.. So if i wanna go for more milky taste, can i replace the coconut extra with dairy milk? or is there any other flavor can be replaced for the coconut extra?? thanks..
Crud, just realized I'm lacking Sweet Cream TPA. I think I'll try to sub it out with Sweet Cream CAP. Out of curiosity, have you tried Italian Cream Hangsen or Vanilla Ice Cream LB in any of your stones? I just ordered both, but they're not here, yet. Might try as an addition when they arrive.
