Notes
V2 should be a final I added .6 sweet straw and .15 shisha......I would say the rest of this was really spot on I may make a blueberry version of it.....thanks for reminding me about this recipe kittyvapes!
OK first notes on V2 is the C.B. def brought out the donut and cheesecake but then again strawberries are steeper creepers...;-p anyways cant wait to see how it turns out after a heat steep...gotta go make some more to join it!
1/1/7- GD +1%, swapped Bav cream for DX and lowered to .4, added straw taffy @1.5
1/23 swapped DX bav. cream for JF Bav. Cream, and taffy for straw sweet JF, also lowered GD .5
3/6 swap dx bav cream back for JF, swapped cake batter caps @.2% for JF yellow cake. kinda am not sure if I like JF bav cream yet
kinda not sure I like jf yellow cake now...swappin it back wit cake batter 1% for .2%
7/19 swapped straw sweet jf for red touch

#2 by Bledzepplin, May 3. 2016, 03:02
So how did this turn out after steeping ??
#3 by Hollywood VApes, May 3. 2016, 04:18
Wonderful I loved it....just finished the last of it today and I still wanted to drink it out of the bottle lol. I think the strawberries kind molded into the background near the end and it was more cream and donut up front but I was hopin itd turn out that way anyway.......Sweet Straw tends to dissapear in lower percentages especially with other straws so I may crank the sweet straw up a tad, if you like more strawberry you may want to even double just the strawberries or even the whole thing if you like max flavor lol

Thanks for your input man I'll let you know how it turns out

Thank You so much for this recipe! I didn't have the shisha strawberry so I used the good old TFA Strawberry Ripe. I will be getting the shisha soon so I can make this with all your flavorings. I tried this after 2 weeks and it didn't taste like you described so I gave it a kiss and put it away for another week. This is now my new favorite strawberry mix. I like it even better than my old fav (straw-cheesecake). I took your suggestion and upped the % evenly on all the flavors except the strawberry.....had to do some math.....gave myself a migraine and lost a few more brain cells but this was so worth it!

Glad you liked it kittyvapes! I have been trying to use my brain and do some math with mixing to keep me on my toes haha. Honestly these percents dont have to be exact for your strawberries. If you use a diff type strawberry than you need to find a percentage that strawberry work best without overpowering. Some straw flavors are really potent so I started low here . Strawberry shisha is an awesome flavor and a must have imo but you dont need to use INA flavors in high amounts. Some flavorings(I think) really just shouldnt be used at higher than 1-2%.Shisha straw is good in higher %s but will easily take over a mix. try reading the notes it helped me alot just click on the flavor then click notes at the bottom..
The strawberry was a bit week for me at about 2-3 weeks so I actually was thinking about upping the straw a tad. This was a first draft I didnt even make a 2nd one yet lol...I was low on cheesecake graham but I picked up more so im going to make a V2 now with a tad more straw and a couple drops of caps cake batter to push the cheesecake out. I figure why not, This already has warnings and I know its gonna tie it together nice.
OH and Ill try to make the math more simple this time hahaha I saw the % and I was like yeah thats a weird number but just use the wrench and adapt it to your own and multiply the percent by 2 to double it and it will do the gram or ml math for you!! hope that helps

Going to mix up some V2 to see how it compares. Thanks for the mixing and adapting tips. Would love to see a blueberry version of this. The cream doughnut part is a really good base and would be good with many different fruits.

This is great after heat steep and some may say more strawberry but I honestly think it gives the donut a straw glaze or straw filled aspect and doesnt really take over the cream donut. I forgot how good this recipe was and forgot about it til you commented, glad I made it again its probably going to stay in rotation now lol. Yes I agree its a good base for more than just blueberry, now the wheels are turning.......raspberry donut, or maybe even a cinn. apple one yummm

I to find that the strawberry disappears after a while. I got Jungle Flavors sweet strawberry and oh my my. Just like a strawberry syrup. Diy or die has a recepie that uses it. I'm hoping this doesn't fade.

Do you have billberry? (FA I think) I've read you can add it to your Blueberry recipes so you don't have to use as much Blueberry.

Right now I'm working on sweet fruits with doughnuts. I can't freaking stop thinking about it lol! I just setup my 'lab' so I will be doing lots of experimenting. I even bought a dotcom that I hope to develop into a marketplace for DIYers to sell their juice on. I caught the vaping bug big time and have tons of shiny things lol.

If you had a place to sell your liquid would that be something you think you and other mixers would be interested in? I just wanted to get a feel for what people would think about the idea before I go all gung ho on it.

That would be fun I purchased a .com myself and havent decided what im going to do with deeming regs.....I would love for others to just try my recipes and give some input in general as I havent had much feedback other than online so far.....BTW Cake batter is what is likely causing fading here but strawberries generally do fade over time. The first jungle flavors I got was Dulce de leche and I love it, If I order another I may try that one!

yes I have bilberry and it does just that but be careful not to use too much its very potent
#13 by Hollywood VApes, Oct 10. 2016, 10:17
I added a bit extra bav cream on accident and can barely taste the donut after mixing....may just remove it from the recipe and I have FLA cupcake batter comin' hopefully to replace warninged cakebatter in my recipes! SO excited....Flavorah dont let me down!!
#14 by Hollywood VApes, Nov 22. 2016, 04:57
FLAVORAH LET ME DOWN!!! WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!! So expensive and not effective, very light and not quite batter like....its FV Cupcake batter....BOOOO
Guess I have to stick with CAP cake batter for now.....WHICH BTW I believe is what covers the strawberry and fades it a bit but its such a good flavor....may try to just cut bav. cream and cake batter in half on a batch to see what changes I get
#15 by Hollywood VApes, Nov 22. 2016, 05:10
im curious kittyvapes, did you like the V2 or V1 better?
#16 by Hollywood VApes, Jan 24. 2017, 01:33
Just got JF straw sweet Jeff and Ryan and it smells delicious, probably goin to swap it in this version for the taffy
#17 by lola, Jul 5. 2017, 18:59
hello Hollywood VApes,
is it your final version ?
are you happy wiith it?
#18 by Hollywood VApes, Jul 5. 2017, 19:32
this mix faded after a while so I think it may be the straw sweet JF doing it. Got a new strawberry coming but you can replace one or more of the straw flavors and it would work well still.
