This is my take on the classic Scottish hard boiled sweet that is the famous Soor Ploom!
It takes me right back to my childhood and has the added benefit of not rotting my teeth like the original sweets! LOL
Now for anyone outside of Scotland the Soor Ploom is a delicious,addictive hard sugar candy that draws your cheeks in!
Soor is Scots for Sour and Ploom is Scots for Plum so it is basically a Sour Plum.
This is very true to the taste and is a very easy simple recipe to mix up.
I would give it a day or so to steep and then it is good to go!
