I've started a project in a Facebook DIY group to develop this smoothie as a community project, hence the title! Very nice fresh and looking forward to updating this as the community gets involved with using various substitutions or additions!
Fresh vape on the first test. The cream base is just right for a nice smoothie base without it being to pronounced. The banana stands out most, but not too much. The pineapple is present and accounted for, but the mango seems to be in the background a bit. I presume that after a few days the banana will mellow out. Will update with further notes in the comments in a few days.
Hey Facebook DIY friend. I'm going to adapt this recipe. I don't currently have cream fresh but, will sub it with Vienna cream. And I'm not a fan of mango so I think I'll sub that out. Not sure with what yet. Nice start. Let's see what the rest of the Facebook DIY community has. Thank you. And enjoy!!!
Heya! You could consider trying Peach or Apricot as a sub for the mango, or passionfruit, papaya or really anything else! Hope you dig it. We've had some good responses so far, I'll give it a few days before we start a v2!
Hey I saw you post this yesterday on fb I have been following your posts and reading everything thanks man! Also just saw this while looking through elr lol I'm like hey I know that recipe lol
Try throwing some OoO cream( milky undertones) maybe around the 2-3% mark? The OoO cream has a gorgeous full cream flavour that is very reminiscent of the milk in a milkshake it also pairs great with the cream fresh. I actually love it paired with FA condensed milk @ 0.4% but I am not sure that the Condensed milk would sit well with the pineapple and mango combination.the only other tweak would be adding some FA banana in there to give a smoother banana profile?
Looks great though and a great project which I am sure we will all learn from?
I don't have any OoO in my current inventory, but it sounds like a sure bet. FA Condensed could be another good choice, though I think I'd have to use less than .4% as it's incredibly potent to me. But that's the intent, to get people involved in talking about the process and what they've used/use regularly and have experience with. This is definitely targeted more at the new mixer to help them see how others build more intricate recipes.
