Notes
This is my first attempt to clone this ejuice... and I think it came out pretty darn close. Actually better IMHO. It doesn't gunk up your coils like the original!

I certainly welcome any comments or suggestions from the community or any fans of the Ethos Crispy Treats ejuice.

2 week steep.

I haven't tried the original but have had this steeping for 3 weeks and its really tasty. Nice balance between the custard and krunchies. Works really well, nice job!

Fee... thank you for your feedback. Please do not hesitate to share any adjustments you make to this recipe.

Awesome, made a 30mL, vaped it all before letting it steep!

I also subbed Rice Crunchies (TPA) with Rice Krispies (FW), the final product of the juice being subbed didn't have a noticeable 'rice crunchie' flavor at all - but it was still delicious. Going to order TPA and re-make a 60mL bottle and update my notes. Well done on this recipe, its actually turned into one of my favs.

I've also noted the tastes gets even better the higher the watts. I'm using a Subtank with a Nichrome single spaced coil build, 0.5 Ohm and 30W - Should try this in my dripper!

Subbed the FA Meringue for TFA. Played with the amount of sweetener ranging from 0-3% and I like it better at 2%. This tastes exactly identical to an eliquid called Nimbus by Subversion, which is profiled as a rice crispy marshmallow flavour. Its a line carried by my favourite local vape shop. I used to buy it really often. Finally I found a recipe that mimics it - well in this case surpasses it. Excellent recipe and MUCH APPRECIATED!

Nice one mate, i found this to be VERY similar to the original juice and it vapes a treat! Only thing i changed was to use Capella Marshmallow as i didn't have any TPA

Making this one soon.

Bought the ingredients.
Well, I found all but 1.. so I subbed Rice Crunchies for Fruit Circles with Milk (TPA).. did a whole 250ml batch at once.. Gonna have a test-vape in a couple days, after I get back home from Estonia.

I'll update my findings then.

I made this yesterday with a couple of adjustments. I used my Marshmallow at 4% rather than 6, my Meringue at 1.5% rather than 2, my Rice Crunchies at 5% rather than 6, Sweetener at 2% rather than 3 & Vanilla Custard at 4.5% instead of 5. My flavor total was 20%. These are percentages I know work with these flavors in other recipes, so that's why I used them in this. I let it sit overnight & this morning it is very good! I;m just hoping the flavor doesn't fade, as I see you are recommending a 2 week steep. What can I expect in the next 14 days?

One thing I don't recommend substituting is the Vanilla Custard. Stick with TFA. I ran out, and while I was waiting for my order to arrive I tried subbing with CAP Vanilla Custard V1. The recipe tasted entirely different and not in a good way. Luckily I was able to salvage the 50ml batch by adding 1% TFA Vanilla Swirl. It really helped bring the recipe back to life. So overall I would suggest not subbing the TFA Vanilla Custard, but if you're in a jam and only have the CAP version, adding 1% TFA Vanilla Swirl helps A LOT.

@northern_vaper, that's funny that you've tried Cap Van Custard because I tried subbing it out as well since cap van custard works so well with everything else... and it totally does NOT work in this recipe... at all! Ended up dumping the bottle. Cap Van Custard has a tendency to sit more forward and there are too many forward competing flavors in this recipe for that, the TFA Vanilla Custard is more complimentary.

@Howard Hughes, how dare you alter my recipe! You make it the way I posted it or don't make it at all... just kidding! lol Glad you took the liberty to alter it to your likings. This is a clone of a commercial juice that is high in, well, everything! Which is what the original juice is like. Personally, I concur with all of your adjustments! I know that 99% of the time I like 1% sweeter in my mixes. So whatever the recipe, that's my starting point. This is what I love about diy, making it your own! And I think you did just that... tailoring it to your own liking. Bravo!

As to your question about flavor and steeping, well, that's subjective in my view. If it tastes good to you now, then by all means, vape away and compare along the way.

Thank you both for your contribution to the conversation.

Had a brief test vape..
Way too sweet to my liking.. also, there seems to be a spicy after-taste from somewhere. Tastes dry and mouth-wettingly sweet.
Sweetener might work better to my taste-buds at 1%.
Now I just need to figure an ingredient to cut that spicyness away..

I get that peppery taste too I think it's the tpa custard is there anything else I can use to replace it?
#14 by Bigray, Jan 5. 2017, 01:23
I made 120ml of this recipe and I know you say 2 week steep. However, I've tried this on the second day. It tastes nothing like rice crispys tho ATM. I hope the flavor gets better after 2 weeks and tastes more like rice crispys. Will the flavor change ?

Very impressed even after one week steep. I will definitely be making a tonne more of this recipe... thank you! I modified mine by reducing marshmallow to 3, adding toasted marshmallow to 6 and removed the sweetener. To me and my wife who has great taste buds, this tastes exactly like a store bought called Subversion Nimbus.

I tried the original just once in a shop. I would imagine that it tasted like rice crispy treat squares. This recipe that you've made here is AMAZING even after just an hour warm steep. Can't wait to see what it's like after a week or so. I'm going to make more right now because I know the 100mls I already made isn't going to last that long. Thank you!
#17 by antera1, May 23. 2017, 05:31
@bigVaping Glad you like it. It's heavy on flavor and sucra so adjust accordingly. Enjoy!

This recipe is bomb! Very close to original. Best IMO after 4 week steep.
#19 by Gaz, Aug 28. 2017, 14:23
Absolutly georgious! :D, I subbed Meringue (FA) with Meringue (TPA) same % and Sulcarose Sweetner (TPA) with Super Sweet (CAP) at half the % (which is probably still too much). Thought Id have a little taster after 24h steep and havnt been able to put it down since lol, Im usually a big advocate for allowing the creamy / marshmallowy / custardy type vapes to steep for a few weeks too!!
Many Thanx to antera1 for sharing, love the original Ethos flavour imo this is tasting better already without the steep time :D
#20 by Octachoron, Aug 29. 2017, 11:21
I've made two 30ml's batches ,one with your recipe and one with added strawberries for the strawberry crispy treats. Tbqh after a 2 week steep they're not even remotely close to the originals, i'm just saying that for everyone that expects this to be spot on, it is not. That's just my thoughts, opinions on taste will differ .
#21 by Sawyer, Sep 3. 2017, 03:46
Mixed this up about 3 weeks ago and man oh man is it ever awesome! It's better to me than the original. Thanks so much for sharing!
#22 by xenochrist, Jan 27. 2018, 01:27
does not taste like the original, its still very good and i recommend it to anyone, im going to make another batch with added marshmellow, bavarian, and 1% more sweet
#23 by xenochrist, Jan 31. 2018, 03:07
^^ yeah i took an old batch and added 3% more marshmallow and its tasting closer to the original.. next time ill use the same ingrediants in different quantities and let you guys know!
#24 by antera1, Jan 31. 2018, 06:23
thank you for your feedback. Please do return and let the community know your results. Keep in mind that marshmallow can mute at high percentages. Higher isn't always better! Keep mixing!
#25 by DaveyDingus, Feb 20. 2018, 05:57
I cant even.
#26 by tugmyroo, Feb 27. 2018, 02:00

#27 by Branmonster, Nov 21. 2018, 18:10
Tasty recipe thank you! I chose to shake n vape this recipe, hard for me to wait 👍 it's good right off the bat and I can tell it's getting better the longer it sits ( 1 day so far ) thanks again!
#28 by rhayes117, Mar 9. 2019, 08:34
Keep up the good work..Great recipe, very tasty.
#29 by McDuckie , Feb 15. 2022, 22:24
Pretty decent attempt. I did feel that even at 6% rice crunchies was lacking flavor so I dropped the % of the custard and Bavarian cream and added some AP and Cereal 27. I also changed the marshmallow to Cap Whipped Marshmallow as it doesn't mute the cereal as badly
