UPDATED JULY 2017
Here is newest revision of the Cream Base.
This is an updated version of the One Shot that used to be sold at Chefs Flavors. If you are looking for First25 Cream Base, please use this version as well. I have consolidated them both into what I feel is a better version of both.

What's a Base?
You can make a large batch of this to save time on mixing later. Use the One Shot feature in ELR or Make with VG/PG/Nic.

Use Cream Base as an Ingredient in a New ELR Recipe:
The Cream Base is also added as a Flavor in the ELR database for new easy recipe creations under Cream Base (EJM). And can be found when typing in flavors to a new private recipe. Just use 10% as the amount of Cream Base then add anything you can think of. I suggest finishing at in the 13-15% final Recipe %

Ideas:

I suggest an RY4 at 3% and Hangsen USA Red Mix 1.5%
Add your favorite Fruit at a 3-5% range.
It's really up to your imagination.

No sweetener needed with this base.
Suggested Steep 14 Days

Regards
The Ckemist

I will definitely use this!
#2 by Ckemist, Aug 9. 2016, 21:36
Thanks Joel! Enjoy it, I vaped 120mls of just the base in a week.
#3 by Lisekristin, Aug 9. 2016, 21:48
Thanks Atom - you are a darling giving us all these great recipes! I have my mixing day tomorrow - this will definitely be one to make!
#4 by Ckemist, Aug 9. 2016, 21:51
Thanks Lise! Love mixing and helping people live longer. Hits all the feels for a passion project!
#5 by Stormy, Aug 9. 2016, 22:43
this may be the elusive creamy vanilla my wife loves ...that I cant seem to get "good" enough for her to start vaping all day..I have half a bottle of the one she likes....I think I'm just being played so she can still smoke...imma sucker..lol. I AM gonna get it cloned..... Excuse.........GONE!!!
#6 by Ckemist, Aug 10. 2016, 05:56
Storm Crow!! Hell Yea. Im on that mission too. Keep it up. She will like this with ry4 double at a 4% and fa caramel at a 1%
#7 by Michelle, Aug 10. 2016, 09:28
Sounds good! Does this base need to steep before adding other flavours like fruit flavours to it? Am thinking of adding black fruits to this for the nice combo of sweet and sharp!
#8 by Ckemist, Aug 10. 2016, 16:52
So you can steep it 3 days to 1 month as ideal ranges, the more the better. You can pre steep a 200 ml of this. And then shake and vape fruit mixes later
#9 by passerbyeus, Aug 11. 2016, 13:03
reat stuff!! I wouldnt go to far as saying mix with RY4. RY4 is the holy trilogy caramel, vanilla, tobacco that's it....;)
#10 by KpiQa, Aug 11. 2016, 17:07
Can i substitute CAP Vanilla Custard v1 with V2?
#11 by Stormy, Aug 11. 2016, 17:38
Lankada. Hollywood Vapes swears by v2's.. where my personal preference is TPA Vanilla Custard. He keeps telling me V2' have a better taste. You know...it's all personal preference.. everyone is different... I would go with what ya got before going and buying another flavor you might not need. I have a box full of stuff I will prob never use that I bought just to make a recipe here where I could have subbed easily enough. Ckemist might have a better take on it.. he may have tried v2 and not liked it... but I already know I'm subbing Sweet cream with TPA DX Sweet Cream. I found. the difference to be negligible
#12 by KpiQa, Aug 11. 2016, 18:37
Thanks for replying Storm Crow! I will follow your opinion and will see how goes.
#13 by passerbyeus, Aug 11. 2016, 19:12
The only big difference I have experienced between the two are V1 has a stronger richer flavor which sometimes its over powering like CAPs cake batter..
#14 by Ckemist, Aug 11. 2016, 22:01
I use V1 cause I like it. It's a warning flavor so feel free to use V2 for personal reasons.
#15 by Alex, Aug 12. 2016, 18:55
Is there anything I can use in place of Cream Fresh?
#16 by Garrett O Mahony, Aug 13. 2016, 13:05
Hey @Ckemist,Am a newbie here, great looking recipe, defo going to give it a shot. Thinking of doing this with a fruit, would i still keep the cream base as 9% of the total? and what % would you suggest for the fruit?
#17 by Ckemist, Aug 16. 2016, 05:04
4-5% of FA Forrest Fruit, FA Oba Oba
maybe do 2% inw Raspberry or 4% jungle flavors sweet strawberry
#18 by bloodspillzone, Aug 20. 2016, 05:33
This is a phenomenal cream!
#19 by Knerps, Aug 28. 2016, 15:07

#22 by Stormy, Sep 5. 2016, 18:53
I still haven't tried it.. Im dying to after reading all the great reviews. I guess a 3 week steep may have to do.. I always wait 4... But......lol

Can I replace TPA Bavarian Cream with FW?
#24 by Ckemist, Sep 8. 2016, 00:00

#26 by tomkis, Sep 18. 2016, 08:38
Soory,i am beginer:) this is some kind of base, e juice?can i vape it?:)
#27 by FerrariRed_82, Sep 24. 2016, 19:48
Can this based be used to build anything off of besides fruits? I'm looking for a good cream base to start all my recipes like cereals, cakes, custards etc. I was wondering if this would be possible considering alot of flavorings dont work off of each other so well. Theres a juice line that has this real distinct base in all of its flavors and Im pretty sure they use Capellas Vanilla Custard. By the way Ckemist your doing an awesome job with all of these recipes. Making juice is an awesome hobby and you layer your flavors very well. Keep up the good work!
#28 by fidalgo vapes, Sep 29. 2016, 20:07
this is a pretty standard base , for those asking can i do this or that the answer is yes , yes you cld sub VC1 for VC2 . and you. cld bring the percentages up or down by 1 percent or less but it will change the base nice work though for me i like Fa MM and fw bavarian cream i ran across this looking for a good ice cream stone this seems to be more of a cream or milk stone
#29 by kingcouchlock, Oct 13. 2016, 19:30
If I was to only make one or the other, which one would you say is best to try out? The more updated version with the CAP Sweet Cream instead of vanilla swirl? Im sure it is a slight difference but which one should I do instead?
#30 by Ckemist, Oct 17. 2016, 22:14
This recipe is now available as a concentrate in UK

#31 by Ninhalo5, Oct 22. 2016, 06:45
Stupid question time... I made this in a 120ml so I can divide it into 15 ml bottles, how do I measure out 3-5% to the 15 ml? Will I just have to remix it in the calculator and add the new flavoring at the desired percentage then add those drops to the bottle?
#32 by Dio, Nov 30. 2016, 22:47
Man this is a very tasty Base so creamy and smooth ! I vape it as is without anything just the Base and I can't put it down... Thanks alot buddy 5starz!!!
#33 by Ruber249, Feb 26. 2017, 04:57
Ninhalo5, For 15ml bottles ( .45ml/0.45G = 3% - .60/ 0.6g = 4% - .75/0.75g = 5% ) Hope that helps.
#34 by Swingman, Apr 2. 2017, 21:42
Would it throw this whole mix off if I used fa marshmallow instead of TPA?
#35 by Djvapes, Apr 13. 2017, 22:15
will someone check out my KeylimePearadise recipe and tell me if this base would fit well with it? Any feedback is appreciated!
#36 by Stormy, Apr 15. 2017, 19:58
DJ... It could work... But your TPA Dragonfruit Is Reay low.. It doesn't even start to make noise until around 6%. Of your using it to boost SB that's perfect. I added this to a Strawberry vape and it turned out ok.. Needed more creams though. Alot of the flavours will need to be reworked..amd I wouldn't add it 1 to 1
#37 by norwegianvaper, Apr 16. 2017, 13:19
Hello Ckemist. This look great. How much % do I use from my Blueberry stone? 4-5%? Its a mix of Bilberry FA, Blueberry TFA and Blueberry Candy TFA
#38 by Suomynona, Apr 28. 2017, 18:53
Is there a big difference between sweet cream from CAP and TPA?
#39 by BichoTheChef, Jun 6. 2017, 20:46
thank u very much this is a life saver !!! it only has like 2 days and im inlove .. making 200ml cause it wont last longer than this week and the variations u can get from this are the best of the recipe!!! someone give this man a vodka!!! thank u again !
#40 by Ron the Don, Jul 12. 2017, 14:21
Wow this is lush even just after 3 days. Can't wait for 3 weeks. My fav creamy recipe be a mile. Also my 1st 100ml mix its that nice. Thanks
#41 by Stormy, Jul 13. 2017, 19:42
@Jans. The sweet creams can be swapped..add a little TPA French Vanilla Deluxe.... It makes it stand out more in a mix
#42 by Ckemist, Jul 16. 2017, 00:57
2017 UPDATED RECIPE.
Replaced Cap Sweet Cream with TPA Whipped Cream.
Replaced TPA with FA Marshmallow to reduce muting effect from tpa
#43 by fidalgo vapes, Jul 16. 2017, 01:33
ckemist have you considered the FA cream fresh may be adding to any muting problems your having ??
#44 by Ckemist, Jul 16. 2017, 01:56
There is hidden maltol in TPA Marshmallow. I lost 2nd round of DIYorDie comp for using the wrong marshmallow. I will never forget that lesson.
#45 by 1bitVape, Jul 16. 2017, 08:10
Ha!! Just started my DIY journey and yesterday I mixed 100ml of the original 😄 I guess I'll mix another 100 ml today of this variation and see the difference in a couple weeks time. Thank you for the update Ckemist
#46 by Lama, Jul 16. 2017, 09:42
Mmm TY sir!
#47 by lastdrop, Jul 21. 2017, 09:14
Thanks for sharing. I'm planning to mix this with 5% CAP Sweet Mango. Anybody tried this yet?

Also say if I made a mix of this cream base and allow it to steep, if I add another flavor does it need be steeped again?
#48 by Pirate, Jul 22. 2017, 16:34
Okay.. Rookie question here. I just mixed the base with VG/PG and Nic. when adding the fruit of my choice do i just put the desired % in and just top off the bottle with the base? That seems like the logical way to do it but I'm just making sure so i don't mess it up! I made 750ml of the base btw... Fantastic!
#49 by Ckemist, Jul 22. 2017, 16:40
So you would now need to know what a 3% of X flavor weighs in X size batch. So you can go to a new recipe and enter the ml and enter that add on Flavors and see their weights. It will be close enough and you are adding a small enough amount. Cause at this point it's all the rest so you just need the weight of the add on.
#50 by Ckemist, Jul 22. 2017, 16:43
So a 10 ml batch with 3% of add on flavor it would be .3
30ml would be .9
60ml 1.8
#51 by Ckemist, Jul 22. 2017, 16:44
Keep notes of your variations so you can remember how to recreate it tho if you really end up loving a lil adjustment etc.
#52 by Pirate, Jul 22. 2017, 16:50
Thanks Brother! I'lll let it steep the full 14 days then it's play time
#53 by 45 CALIBER JUICES', Jul 22. 2017, 23:32
Thanks, so much! my friend,(Ckemist) I'll use this quite a bit.
#54 by Cloudz_Allowd, Aug 7. 2017, 22:20
I'm going to try 0.25% Dark bean FA love coffee vapes will let you know how it turns out, thanks for posting this great base.
#55 by Teresa8536, Aug 24. 2017, 03:03
thanks for posting this one and butter cookie. I order from Chefs flavors, when I got my order this was not in it. They did credit my account though, still was disappointed. Thinking about mixing the butter cookies with RY4 DBL or Soho. Glad to see this on here.. thanks again
#56 by Lama, Aug 26. 2017, 00:20
Just made a 120 of the updated version. TY for sharing this :)
#57 by SpacedVapes, Sep 3. 2017, 03:46
Ok I am a noob. So do i make this with with my nic amount, once this is made and steeped I just add extra flavor to it ? in say smaller bottles.
Or do i use this as a 10% flavor in a new recipe? then add my other flavors more vg and pg??.
#58 by Ckemist, Sep 3. 2017, 05:50
Both work. Second one would be more accurate but first works too.
#59 by SpacedVapes, Sep 6. 2017, 20:36
OH i get it now... just a noob... Watched the stream on stones and bases you were on the other day also. Dam helpful i must say. I learn more and every day.
#60 by cincinnatiking, Sep 8. 2017, 03:56
Right up my alley with the custard at 2%. I will have to add my strawberry blend to it.
#61 by Zugmaschine, Sep 21. 2017, 19:29
Top Cream Base! Thanks.
#62 by Mgunit13, Oct 8. 2017, 06:55
This is awesome, ty. I'm just starting out DIY and ordering everything tomorrow (and been searching like crazy for a thick creamy mix (and this is even better because it's the full base) so thank you. Quick question, I'm looking for these flavors (strawberry, banana, peach, blueberry, "sour rasberry") because i plan on adding cream base to each of them all. What's your suggestions on which ones I should get that is natural tasting NOT CANDY LIKE/NO SWEET. Theirs so many to choose from it's confusing. Also what percentage do you recommend on each of those flavors (i saw you said 3-5% but i also saw your comment depending on what flavor it is) I'm really looking for a fruit inhale followed by a thick creamy exhale. Thank you for any help that you can provide (I'm a 50/50 12mg vaper, I'm not sure if that matters).
#63 by Ckemist, Oct 8. 2017, 10:00
FA Juicy Strawberry , lorann banana cream, fa white peach + flv apricot, inw Raspberry (1%) , tpa Blueberry extra

#64 by Zugmaschine, Oct 8. 2017, 11:41
A famous 5 Stars Cream Base. Thanks alot!
#65 by Mgunit13, Oct 8. 2017, 17:58
Thank you Ckemist, got your app too. With what you said above I probably should start all flavors at 3% (accept for the rasberry flavor) and if it isn't strong enough fruit put another 1% in and if that isn't strong fruit put another 1%). That would probably be the best bet, I'm assuming. Thank you so much for your help.
#66 by jeremy, Oct 19. 2017, 15:04
I don't have whipped cream . Is there something I can substitute for it ? Also thanks for the share and when I make it I will definitely rate it. Thanks again!!!
#67 by Biso, Oct 22. 2017, 09:54
Couple of Q...
If you are trying to avoid muting effects, Bavarian Cream TPA has considerable amount of EM, should it be reduced to -say- 2%? Also I noticed that Whipped cream although it has no EM in it but also does mute fruits (or maybe masks them).
Also, if 10% cream is a little bit too much for me, and would like to take it down a bit to 8% for example, shall I take all down at the same ratio? Or you would suggest keeping some at their current percentage and take others down
#68 by Ckemist, Oct 22. 2017, 14:42
Use it whatever level you want even down to 2-3% for a hint or lighter vape. I personally enjoy a lil muting to lighten most fruits myself.
#69 by Stafylidis Vladimiros, Oct 23. 2017, 09:20
!
#70 by big cloud, Oct 24. 2017, 21:42
Added 5% TPA banana nutbread and it's great! thanks!
#71 by msclcar1, Nov 19. 2017, 04:33
forgive the question if dumb but I just want to check the math on this....
If 1gram =10% per 10ml, then I would just multiply by 6 if I were making 60ml correct? So I would add 6grams of this cream for each 60ml bottle. My additions (such as fruits, etc etc, ) would be deducted from the remaining 90% combination of vg/pg bases?
#72 by Mgunit13, Nov 21. 2017, 06:29
@msclar1.... your best bet and the easiet thing to do is pre-make the base (click the blue wrench on top right of recipe (make one shot/concentrate)... and mix at 10%.

I mean I know you just want to know though lol

@Ckemist I absolutely love this cream base (I love it at 15% by it's self or mixed with fruits). It's so good I almost eat it...

Thanks again
#73 by Mikie likez it ..., Dec 17. 2017, 15:06
amazing ,,, added Peach Pie & Cream(WF) @ 6% and wow,,, Thanks for the base ..

#76 by cosacee, Apr 4. 2018, 01:24
thanks for this @Ckemist. can i ask you seeing as this is a chefs clone, do you have a good clone for Chefs mexican fried ice cream? looked all over and others have very different recipes and not sure which to put my cash into? tia
#77 by Ckemist, Apr 4. 2018, 02:20
This isn't a clone. We sold this as a product at chefs. We we stopped selling it I released this version since a number of people loved it.
#78 by Sub Vapes, Apr 6. 2018, 09:10
Thanks, a great base. Even standalone it's ace.
#79 by Lisekristin, May 13. 2018, 21:28
I love this base - it is absolutely gorgeous!
#80 by Tara, May 25. 2018, 08:02
I steeped it for 1 week and tested it out with 3% Fuji apple, tastes amazing! Thanks for releasing his recipe :)
#81 by Suomynona, May 25. 2018, 10:22
@Tara A one week steep doesn't do it justice. You should let it steep for at least a month (and it won't hurt to do more) to get that thick creamy tasty vape everybody's always looking for.
#82 by Tara, Jun 1. 2018, 01:15
Cool, well, theres more steeping :D
#83 by Ckemist, Jun 1. 2018, 21:55

#86 by Enviousburrito, Jul 21. 2018, 16:38
Amazing recipe for fruits! Added between 5-7% juicy peach (CAP) and the wife can't put it down thanks!
#87 by lpz4, Jul 28. 2018, 18:28
@Ckemist will it be too far if I use cap v. custard v2? If no may I keep same ratio? Also thanks for all your recipes bro! U rock!
#88 by tattooedvaper, Aug 12. 2018, 03:13
How much difference if i sub the whipped cream for CAP Vanilla Whipped cream?
#89 by tattooedvaper, Oct 22. 2018, 01:40
Anyone try making a one shot from this yet?
#90 by tattooedvaper, Oct 28. 2018, 14:26
I made 60 mls of this using Vanilla whipped Cream until my Whipped Cream gets here. THIS SHIT IS GREAT!!! Sweet, thick, just wonderful creamy goodnes. Thank you so much forvsharing this.
#91 by FHRITP , Dec 29. 2018, 06:07
Very nice. Added butter pecan FW 4% ... so good
#92 by Kieran , Jan 1. 2019, 23:44
Okay to swap out fa marshmallow with tap marshmallow?
#93 by Ckemist, Jan 2. 2019, 00:17
Tpa mutesmore
#94 by Kieran , Jan 2. 2019, 00:19
Okay could I possibly just lower the % to avoid muting it?
#95 by drifter93, Feb 16. 2019, 22:41
Isn't 10% as a base too much to use? I mean if i add ry4 at 4% and caramel at 1%, total is 15%. Won't it be rich and creamy with 5% of your base for example?
#96 by Mgunit13, Feb 17. 2019, 18:21
@drifter93 for me 10% is what I use for all my mixes... you'll be fine at 15% total... make 2 testers try them out both ways, you maybe more sensitive then me, everyone is different.
#97 by VapeDayz , Feb 27. 2019, 17:33
Hi im wanting to try this so basically its a 10ml bottle of base cream i add to what ever i like ? so i could add just 10% of the 10ml bottle to any fruits i want ? Thanks in advance so if i was going to make some thing say strawberry 3% strawberry ripe %4 in a 10ml bottle then just add 1ml of this mix in a 10ml bottle ?

because that means i could get 100ml of ejuice from a small 10ml bottle of this base ?Or am i off sorry im new at this and learning and thank you i will be definitely trying this base i just need to know how to use it can i get 100ml bottle from the 10ml base mix ? and if i want to add 10% to my mixes it would me 1ml of this base..Thank you
#98 by Frozenfrie, Mar 5. 2019, 19:35
Well we will see how this goes. I have tons of flavorings but not quite what is listed. Sweet Cream (CAP) Whipped Cream (TPA) Toasted Marshmallow (TPA) Bavarian Cream (TPA) Vanilla Custard V1 (CAP).
#99 by indi, Mar 5. 2019, 19:36
This is an excellent Cream Base , always have a 30ml bottle mixed , works effortlessly with virtually any layered Fruit Concentrates , don't know why I haven't posted on here before to thank you for posting it.
Anyway.....Thx ;)
#100 by JuiceApprentice79, Apr 17. 2019, 22:59
I'm a complete noob with mixing, saw this and thought I'd give it a go. Got enough concentrates in to make 1000 ml and so glad i did the smell alone is like a party on my nostrils.
Gonna wait a month till it all comes together and start adding my fruits.
Thank you very much for sharing this Ckemist, you're a legend.
Gonna have cheeky peek at your other recipes......... Cheers.
#101 by chef_fred, Sep 4. 2019, 09:10
alright, so just started DIY and i have a question. I have seen people ask before about making this as a base (or any base that requires a longer steep)and letting it steep. Does this mean that they add the PG/VG/Nic and let it steep then use that to make other juices(as a stone or base)? I was wondering if i could make these ahead and pre steep them in VG/PG/Nic (or no nic until the end) for 2 weeks to a month, and then flavor it when its done. Or does that philosophy not work? I understand the math of the base, but for time constraints and flavor testing i was wanting to make a big batch of this and then flavor it however i see fit with a 3-5% flavor attached per mix. any help is appreciated.
#102 by SensoryOverload, Sep 10. 2019, 01:00
Hey bud, so when it comes to making stones of any sort what you want to do is just treat the final mixed stone as if it was a normal concentrate. You don’t mix the stones with added VG or PG, literally just mix the percentages into a 10/20/30ml bottle, label said bottle with name and date and use the suggested % as and when needed. With this mix being a total of 10% the required/recommended amount to mix with will be 10%. Hope this helps mate and happy mixing. 👍🏻
#103 by Jill, Sep 27. 2019, 21:24
I did something like this but mine is
2.5% Bavarian cream tpa
1.5 cream fresh FA
2% double cream VP this one is a must
2% sweet cream tpa
1% Catalan cream Fa
0.5 vienna cream

I use it with all my mixes needing cream I dont use vanilla custard I feel Bavarian cream and vienna does its job for me

Nice cream base though cheers for sharing
#104 by King7780, Oct 1. 2019, 18:05
It's AMAZING!!
#105 by GazP , Mar 2. 2020, 11:17
I'm new to diy and this is the only recipe I've mixed so far, I made a quick 30ml and before storing for steeping I tried a little, well that 30ml never got a chance to steep, I then made 100ml which is steeping but down to 60ml! I've now mixed another 300ml, I really want steep this so hoping I can leave the 300 alone. Its just so nice straight away, I know after a steep its going to be better but it's just hard to put it down. I've been vaping for quite a few years and this recipe is better than any I've ever bought and I mixed it, should have took this step years ago. Thanks.
#106 by GazP , Mar 2. 2020, 19:50
What strawberry or strawberries is recommended to add to this base, and what percentages?
#107 by Coupongirlamj, Mar 9. 2020, 14:05
You just made my life so much simpler thank you so much for sharing.

I just found a bit of this base I mixed a year ago... Still creamy and delicious! I forgot about it and there wasn't much left... But I'm in love all over again.

Como pensas que pueda quedar mezclar con algo de Soho flavor art en vez de Dry4?

Really good! Mixed it with 4% Cinnamon Danish Swirl and 1% FA Cinnamon Ceylon. Nice and creamy.

I just cracked open a 50mL bottle of this I made back in October!!! Holy shit!!! I had no idea it was that good till I tried it out after many months of no-nic steeping. Works great for adding fruits. I threw in 2% SSA Scandinavian Fruits (which to me tastes like an awesome blueberry) and 1% CNV Lemon Cream Wafer (which tastes kinda like yellow fruit loops in cream)!! WOW, good stuff, might make up another 120mL to sit and get as good as this one is! 5 Stars

This is it! The cream base that can creamify every fruit mix I use. Thanks Ckemist. You're a star.

Replaced Capellas Vanilla with the Inawera one and after month of steeping its horrible, could it be Inawera’s fault? Wasn’t anything near “cream” taste Oo
