1st let me say I've used your cream base and it was superb. I'd like to give ry4's a try again but a little Leary as I had no success with them 3 years ago when I was new to DIY. that said, how does ry4 work in a mix like this? I'm trying to get a better understanding of how to use ry4 and any input would be appreciated.
almost forgot. been to your ejuicemakers and it's pretty cool. thx

i describe it as a leather tobacco note with hints of caramel and vanilla
#3 by heatho72, Dec 25. 2016, 18:44
so in this recipe it's more about caramel and vanilla in a Cakey type gingerbread than the tobacco. the tobacco flavor is just a back note then. thx for your help.

last thing. I know different brands work in various recipes but I want to start with 1 ry4 and go from there. which one would you recommend? by the way I'm in the U.S. thanks

heatho72, RY4 Double is the most popular so prob the best place to start - its pretty versatile. I appreciate your learyness tho.. gotta say I wondered what all the RY4 hoo-ha was about- it seemed to be incredibly popular (RY4 generally) but I wasnt at all impressed when I first tried it. Although mild, it does have a distinctive flavor profile that takes a bit of getting used to IMO, but once you're over the "leary" hump, you'll wonder what you ever did without it!
Good solid looking recipe Ckemist! Jingle Bells!

yes. RY4 Double by TPA/TFA is the best for all kinds of things.
Cheers to you all!!

@vonTrueso, @Ckemist: thank you both.

I haven't actually mixed this, but i tried the chef's concentrate.
This is a wonderful vape, one of my favorites. This hasn't a RY4 profile though, so the name might not be the best. Like heatho72 said, it's a cakey/gingerbread, with a hint of RY4.
Thanks for this.

Got this as a one shot from Chefs for Christmas and I'm still vaping it, glad to have found the recipe for when I finally run out. It's a nice spicy gingery cake with an undercurrent of dirty ry4 that goes great with coffee or stout, which is all I need! As someone who avoided tobacco for ages this will be the recipe that ads ry4 to my arsenal.
