EDIT: 2 - 04 - 16
Instead of publishing a V2, as all my wife wanted was for this to have more custard, the other version is just +4% VC V1 for a total of 8%.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EDIT: 12 - 10 - 16
Im going to alter the recipe a bit, some people have issues with tasting the blueberry in this and the custard isnt quite where it should be. Ill update it soon.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This has gone through many variations and i was never quite happy with it, until now. Seems i found the flavor combination that i like best.

Before you ask if you can sub anything let me say, of course you can but it wont taste like this does. If you do so please make an adaptation with your changes and publish it, as long as it isnt some minor change.

If you have tried my Strawnana Custard id like you to know that this one is a bit more toned down, less flavor heavy, as i vape at higher wattage these days. My daily gear is a Vt133, Troll V2, dual 24g 3mm 316L @.2 ohms, run in the 65-85w range.

Keep in mind that custards take time, mix, shake and put it out of sight for a month. You'll be glad that you did.

I hope you enjoy!

Been waiting for this one. Need to get the blueberry flavours. Just made a new order before I saw this. Got it saved for the future.
#4 by Ken O'Where, Nov 8. 2016, 18:04
@Solace71: Hope it is worth the wait. :)

It is a bit different than Strawnana where the banana is a bit more dominant, especially to those who have trouble tasting strawberry. Here the blueberries are in the lead role with a light banana and custard finish.

I do have LAsBanana Cream. It is totally clear. Is that the same as colorless?
#6 by Ken O'Where, Nov 21. 2016, 03:22
@jimr: Yep, sure is bud. :)

Thanks Ken

Vaping my first two month old batch, it turned out fantastic. Now ill let it sit for 6 months and do my last test.

It is good at 1 month but much better at 2. Also, I have been considering upping the custard for my person taste.

I didn't get pass two weeks, lol. I've run out of banana cream. It's a bit tricky to get in the uk. I really enjoyed it and yes I might up the custard slightly next time. I did do the same recipe but subbed for blueberry wild and that was good as well. I think the FW blueberry pairs very well with FA custard.

Delicious. Managed to get to 4 weeks and its great. The 4th week really made the difference. Thanks for another great recipe.
#11 by Ken O'Where, Jan 26. 2017, 23:27
@Solace71: Glad you enjoyed it, i do as well tho it seems some people have trouble tasting the blueberry i do not. In the second version i have several testers curing with more custard and a tad bit more blueberry.

Ill get one posted as soon as the testing is finished tho i dont think more blueberry flavoring will matter, i think it is like strawberry and some people have troubles tasting it but who doesnt love more custard? hehe
#12 by Solace71, Jan 27. 2017, 21:23
I had no problems with tasting the blueberry. I have the same mix steeping but subbed the Fa custard with Shisha vanilla same %
#13 by Ken O'Where, Jan 28. 2017, 00:05
@Solace71: I really really need to remember to order Shisha V.. I have forgotten more times than i care to admit.
#14 by Solace71, Jan 28. 2017, 23:23
Shisha vanilla is great and a must have. I like it on its own or to boost the vanilla in custard. I think that's what I'm looking for in this recipe, a bit more vanilla.
#15 by Solace71, Feb 24. 2017, 23:16
Really liking this with the Shisha vanilla. It needs 4 weeks at least. Another great recipe and thanks for the share. If you get some Shisha sub it for the Fa custard, delicious.
#16 by Ken O'Where, Feb 24. 2017, 23:28
I actually did get some and it arrived yesterday, hehe. And feel free to share your version of it, ill give it a mixin. :)
#17 by Solace71, Feb 25. 2017, 20:16
Here it is. tjek.nu/r/9hb2 All I've done is subbed the Fa custard for Shisha vanilla.

I guess this is a Ken O"where kinda day. I"ve mixed 4 of your recipes so far today. Thank you Thank you for all of your hard work. You inspire me to be creative and take chances with my recipes.
#20 by Ken O'Where, Jun 13. 2017, 23:50
I do hope you enjoy, Robin. :)

One of your mixes, caramel cookies, was one of the first i ever mixed from this site, doing so drove me further down the rabbit hole, hehe.
#21 by Ken O'Where, Nov 22. 2017, 06:09
It is time for a new version, i dont like this anymore.
#22 by strat, Nov 23. 2017, 13:51
why Ken? lemony from the fa custard? I've been tinkering with fw blueberry, thought it was the answer. can't get a bright blue note on the top that says blueberry.
#23 by Ken O'Where, Nov 29. 2017, 04:59
@strat: It just doesnt cure to be what i want it to be, its not that it is bad it just isnt as good as it could be. Blueberry is one of the more difficult flavorings, from any company, that i have used.

I just know it could be better. :)
#24 by DrJay, Feb 13. 2018, 23:25
I’m going to try this as the recipe states. Your strawnanna custard is what got me into diy and still make it from time to time. If this is even close to as good I can see it being a staple in my house
#25 by Ken O'Where, Feb 14. 2018, 14:59
@DrJay: In my personal opinion it isnt even close. I quite liked it at first but it is something i havent vaped in a long while, now Strawnana is pretty old, i dont even remember when i first mixed it but it was several years ago. Yet, i still vape Strawnana regularly. This one, not so much.

But dont let that stop you as you might enjoy it and i hope that you do. Perhaps i just cant vape blueberry regularly as no blueberry mix has been an ADV of mine since i very first switched to vaping.

Banana Cream (TPA) 3%
Bilberry (Mirtillo) (FA) 1%
Blueberry Extra (TPA) 2%
Blueberry, Wild (TPA) 3%
Custard (Crema Pasticcera) (FA) 2%
Vanilla Custard v1 (CAP) 4%

Im not usually a fan of cap vc but with this adaption I really enjoy it!
#27 by Jamie_M, Dec 12. 2018, 19:14
I cant remember if I even bothered trying strawnana custard since im strawberry blind :(
#28 by sed, Sep 25. 2019, 23:31
@Ken O'Where, I know it's an old recipe. I can't find Custard (Crema Pasticcera) (FA). Do you know if it has gone away and could you recommend a substitute? I have loved several of your recipes and wanted to try this one.
