Hi Amy :) This gets better after about 3 days to one week. Even if I make a 50mL bottle it rarely lasts longer than two-three weeks at which point all of the flavours have melded and layered properly :)
Wonderful! This surprised me in many ways, from the use of INW DF to the percent of cactus used. So well balanced and perfect harmony between the flavors. CAP Sweet Strawberry is invisible, but I'm sure it's contributing sweetness and flavor, just it's not detectable. I wouldn't make it without it though. Thanks for the share of a great recipe - WTG Rupert!
Might be an annoying question but, any chance I could sub INW Dragonfruit with either TPA and/or FW Dragonfruit? Or would that just throw everything into chaos?
I don't see any problem with the sub. I've done it myself when I have been low or out of the INW :) Give it a go.
The Dragonfruit is there to compliment the apple/strawberry, and sweeten the mix a bit, not as a dominant flavour.
Great recipe, I really enjoyed using the INW DF don't use it too often but it's combo w/ the cactus and apple are really nice, Sb I don't get a whole lot of in this one but it could of been more abundant when fresh. Thanks for the share ! Oh and I didn't use any sweetener and it's plenty sweet and tasty.
Rupert, this is fantastic. I was skeptical about 1% cactus, normally not a fan but it plays out perfectly as was mentioned by other commenters.
Kudos and many thanks for sharing this.
Rupert - Great! Just love this.. I did cheat a bit and added .5% of Shisha Strawberry (INW) to kick up that sweet strawberry a little. This works great with the 1% of cactus, was worried, but it actually went very well.. Works after the mix (SnV) but overnight to 2 days and it starts to really shine!! Good job, added to my ADV collection.
This is really great! Tastes to me a bit like a green apple slush type recipe. I blew through 100ml and my friend asked me to make him some but I ran out of inw dragonfruit and inw cactus so in a pinch you can sub inw dragonfruit for tfa dragonfruit and 50/50 tfa quince and fa oba oba for the cactus. It tastes similiar but not quite as good as Rupert's Original. 5 stars thanks!
Hey man, just wanted to give credit where credit is due! I mixed it as shown but for me the percentage of total flavor was too low. All I did was double them and this is a great flavor! I did up the cactus by an additional 1% as well because I wanted it just a little more prominent. The Apple still shines through real well, I just love the flavor of the cactus in the background. This is the first cactus juice ive made myself and I love it. Thanks man!
Hey CDROVERNL, awesome, glad you like it, and interesting that you doubled the flavours.
I am a big fan of the cactus flavour, but most people tend to not like it above 1%. I have other private recipes I use cactus higher, where I want it as a main profile :)
Glad you liked this with the tweaking to your tastes.
Ok, I just mixed this up at double the flavor % like cdrovenl above as I typically use between 15-20%. I haven't tasted it yet but after a shake it was WHITE. I've been mixing for some time and have never seen this. Two flavors I've never used are the INW dragonfruit and the Fuji apple. Is this typical of this recipe or do I have a flavor that turned??
Well I tasted it and I don't give a rat's behind how white/cloudy it is, the juice is straight up brilliant. I've vaped a ton of different ejuices, retail and personally mixed over the last 5 years and this is the first apple based juice that I have enjoyed. Don't know whether you spent years of trial and error finding this or got lucky but either way my hats off to you. Truly Grateful that you shared it.
Very tasty as a Shake 'n vape, a little dull/muted. But 3-5 days steep and I bet this is a winner!
Subbed INW Dragonfruit for TPA Dragonfruit at 2%. According to the median flavor used on the two, the INW is pretty much twice as strong, why I altered the percentage.
Very nice :) I made it for mtl with tpa dragonfruit, doubled all the flavours percentages except cactus. Cactus is still prominent at 1%. It is a good combination of flavours. I will adapt this adding some pineapple and lower cactus to 0.50%
