Nice mixed 100ml last night. Bought in the exact flavours. This tasted very much like "The Yorkshire Vapers Key Lime Cheesecake" I'm sure it will be spot on after a steep. As a shake n vape it's ready right away. Lime is a little sharp but I'm sure that will calm down after the steep.

Wow!!! This is lovely - I made it up a couple of days ago so not steeped and it's great.
I didn't have FA Custard so I had to swap it out for FA Vanilla custard and it works well.

The best flavor I have made yet. Thank you!!!!

Fantastic! This tastes 100% exactly like a key-lime pie in my estimation. From the crust to the filling, this is just perfect. And at only 8% flavoring, ths is a very inexpensive simple recipe that results in an outstanding premium quality eliquid. Good job!

Made this up and used a warm water bath to steep. Been using the juice two days & I love it! I'm using a 60% pg/40% vg mix. This is a nice change from my typical go-to blends.

Any chance someone can convert these measurements to weight? I'm guessing that VG (Which I intend on using for nicotine) is denser than PG/Water therefore I can't do the ML/Gram 1:1 :( Thanks in advance.

@Leon Fly, It's built in! Go to your preferences and change your preference to grams :) e-liquid-recipes.com/user/update

I found the lime a bit much for my taste and dropped the Key Lime to 1.5 on my second attempt. Other than that I found it delicious.

Has anyone tried Darth Vaper from Vapergate? I was curious how similar this would be if you replace the pie crust with mint. Thanks
#12 by Theemailman, Jan 28. 2016, 01:43
Smells amazing can't wait to sample
#13 by Theemailman, Feb 3. 2016, 20:42
Yeah it's banging don't hesitate to mix this up
#14 by rsimmy, Feb 20. 2016, 23:26
Yoooo this shit is good.
#15 by Eravelle, Feb 23. 2016, 04:51
Made a small 10ml tester, after steeping 4 days I vaped it all in one day. Just mixed 100ml more, so good.

Anyone know if if this is more or a sour/tangy vape lover type juice or is it something I'd like (not one who's hugely find of sour vapes)? I'm hoping it's more bakery with a hint of key like vs the other way around. Just figure I'd ask before getting all my gear out. TIA
#17 by Yelsew, Mar 17. 2016, 17:24
4 rings - I find the lime very upfront, tangy and quite throaty. Try dropping the key lime to 1.5%, taking the custard up to 2% and graham cracker up to 2.2%. Give it at least 3 weeks steep for the custard to sweeten and it's more what you're after.
#18 by jasen22, Mar 18. 2016, 20:14
Imade this just the way it was and added 5 drops of acetyl pyrazine (as i do with most desserts with crust) and its bomb af. This recipe is fire. Appreciate it man
#19 by tonediary, Mar 28. 2016, 23:23
Didn't like this after shake and vape but it's a total different story after 3 weeks of steep.
#20 by CM Family, Apr 2. 2016, 21:47
Has anyone tried this in a tank?
#21 by Yelsew, Apr 2. 2016, 22:09
I use it in a Uwell Crown without issues
#22 by Ogamy, May 14. 2016, 16:23
Very tasty recipe, not a massive fan of Limes, but this has won me over.
#23 by jasen22, May 14. 2016, 16:39
I have a billow v2 tank. Havent had any issues. Great recipe
#24 by stlvapegurl, May 15. 2016, 20:45
Adding another comment. I've had a lot of friends try this & they really like it as well. Some think the lime is a little too much for them, so reducing it a smidge for those who don't like that bite (I like it) is recommended. This is a great recipe & is one of few I make large batches of on a regular basis.
#25 by Johan Heyns, Jun 3. 2016, 20:07
Can I sub the TFA Key Lime for FW Key Lime?? If so at what percentage must I mix then?
#26 by jasen22, Jun 3. 2016, 23:21
@Johan Heyns: I actually fucked up and ordered Fw Key Lime instead of Tfa when i re-uped. I ended up mixing half and half with the TFA i had and mixed at the same percentage. It turned out fine but i found it to be a bit sweeter then the original. So from what i found in my mistake was tfa is definitely better imo but i think FW is fine overal

Great recipe - mixed 20ml as an initial test, and agitated ~30sec with a frother. Once settled, it was very tasty, if a bit rough. Reminded me of Suicide Bunny's Special Edition initially, but is much better than that after steeping for a week, and comes into its own. It has developed into a perfect mix of tart and sweet lime on the inhale, and a creamy cheesecake foundation. Will definitely make larger batches on a regular basis.

How would using TFA Cheesecake in place of tfa cheesecake (Graham crust) affect the flavor?
#29 by jasen22, Jul 5. 2016, 20:54
That would make a huge difference in this recipe.. and in a bad way.. the cheesecake(graham crust) paired with pie crust gives it the perfect amount of crust taste when u exhale. Tfa Cheesecake imo is not good, and woukd certainly not sub out cheesecake(graham) in this recipe
#30 by Linger, Jul 6. 2016, 02:26
I had to make some subs because I didn't have any pie crust, but it tastes great. I'll have to make it with all original ingredients when I get them.
#31 by JonnyboyT, Jul 27. 2016, 10:15
Very nice recipe. This compares very well with all of the shop bought versions of key lime pie I've tried.
#32 by m1ndfxck, Aug 25. 2016, 08:57
I was testing a vape shops house blends and "Key Lime Pie" was one of them. I was shocked at how amazing it was. I literally said this is the best vape I ever have tasted. This led me to making this recipe. Let me say, fucking yes. This is an amazing flavor man, it was awhile ago I tried that house flavor but vaping this brings back that memory. I can say this is one of my favorites if not my favorite. thank you for your efforts.
#33 by Stuartcall, Aug 30. 2016, 21:47
Is anyone else getting a foosty taste from this? I barely get any lime coming through it.. It's as if the pie crust overpowers it Allan's gives a strange taste.. I thought it was because I was using New York cheesecake but I took it out and it's still like that. It's so frustrating because I want a good key like pie so badly!!
#34 by thelynxeffect, May 10. 2017, 00:20
hi how could I make this mix without TPA Pie Crust as I only like to use Dike tone free Flavourings I have FA Cookie and FA apple pie any suggestions would be helpful
#35 by Jonna81, May 18. 2017, 22:55
Does it work on both drippers and ordinary tanks? I mean since its pretty small amount of flavoring..
#36 by ian, Jul 7. 2017, 18:22
Thanks for sharing, everyone who tries your mix like it's, then I show them where I found it.
#37 by Beckham, Jul 11. 2017, 03:28
I have lots of flavors but not TPA pie crust. What could I substitute?
#38 by Mirabella, Jul 28. 2017, 19:41
Loved this. Had to sub Key Lime TPA with FW, and added 0.5% Real Flavors SC Lemon and some drops of sweetner (got a sweet tooth). Wonderful recipe.

#40 by anILLytical, Jan 10. 2018, 23:33
This juice is dank. A fine ADV
#41 by anILLytical, Jan 18. 2018, 02:23
For people wondering about tanks as well, I use this juice in a Cloud Beast King and vapes perfectly and tastes spot on
#42 by Dashmeister, Apr 6. 2018, 20:10
How would you go about making this an Apple pie ??
Replace key lime, and cold pressed with
4.5%cap Apple pie
2% Apple Fuji Fiji
???
#43 by CorpusChristiDJ, Jul 14. 2020, 02:58
Just made a 120ml batch with (3ml, 2ml, 4ml, 1ml, 1ml) & the rest VG. It does smell amazing so far. Can't wait to try it!
#44 by BallSackBishop, Jul 25. 2023, 07:34
Had to sub pie crust so I tried FA Cookie at 1% but it wasn't quite enough. Added 0.5% Sugar Cookie aswell and it has made a perfect sweet cookie base. Zesty and creamy with a buttery biscuit base! Beautiful!
