Nice mixed 100ml last night. Bought in the exact flavours. This tasted very much like "The Yorkshire Vapers Key Lime Cheesecake" I'm sure it will be spot on after a steep. As a shake n vape it's ready right away. Lime is a little sharp but I'm sure that will calm down after the steep.
Wow!!! This is lovely - I made it up a couple of days ago so not steeped and it's great.
I didn't have FA Custard so I had to swap it out for FA Vanilla custard and it works well.
Fantastic! This tastes 100% exactly like a key-lime pie in my estimation. From the crust to the filling, this is just perfect. And at only 8% flavoring, ths is a very inexpensive simple recipe that results in an outstanding premium quality eliquid. Good job!
Made this up and used a warm water bath to steep. Been using the juice two days & I love it! I'm using a 60% pg/40% vg mix. This is a nice change from my typical go-to blends.
Any chance someone can convert these measurements to weight? I'm guessing that VG (Which I intend on using for nicotine) is denser than PG/Water therefore I can't do the ML/Gram 1:1 :( Thanks in advance.
Anyone know if if this is more or a sour/tangy vape lover type juice or is it something I'd like (not one who's hugely find of sour vapes)? I'm hoping it's more bakery with a hint of key like vs the other way around. Just figure I'd ask before getting all my gear out. TIA
4 rings - I find the lime very upfront, tangy and quite throaty. Try dropping the key lime to 1.5%, taking the custard up to 2% and graham cracker up to 2.2%. Give it at least 3 weeks steep for the custard to sweeten and it's more what you're after.
Imade this just the way it was and added 5 drops of acetyl pyrazine (as i do with most desserts with crust) and its bomb af. This recipe is fire. Appreciate it man
Adding another comment. I've had a lot of friends try this & they really like it as well. Some think the lime is a little too much for them, so reducing it a smidge for those who don't like that bite (I like it) is recommended. This is a great recipe & is one of few I make large batches of on a regular basis.
@Johan Heyns: I actually fucked up and ordered Fw Key Lime instead of Tfa when i re-uped. I ended up mixing half and half with the TFA i had and mixed at the same percentage. It turned out fine but i found it to be a bit sweeter then the original. So from what i found in my mistake was tfa is definitely better imo but i think FW is fine overal
Great recipe - mixed 20ml as an initial test, and agitated ~30sec with a frother. Once settled, it was very tasty, if a bit rough. Reminded me of Suicide Bunny's Special Edition initially, but is much better than that after steeping for a week, and comes into its own. It has developed into a perfect mix of tart and sweet lime on the inhale, and a creamy cheesecake foundation. Will definitely make larger batches on a regular basis.
That would make a huge difference in this recipe.. and in a bad way.. the cheesecake(graham crust) paired with pie crust gives it the perfect amount of crust taste when u exhale. Tfa Cheesecake imo is not good, and woukd certainly not sub out cheesecake(graham) in this recipe
I was testing a vape shops house blends and "Key Lime Pie" was one of them. I was shocked at how amazing it was. I literally said this is the best vape I ever have tasted. This led me to making this recipe. Let me say, fucking yes. This is an amazing flavor man, it was awhile ago I tried that house flavor but vaping this brings back that memory. I can say this is one of my favorites if not my favorite. thank you for your efforts.
Is anyone else getting a foosty taste from this? I barely get any lime coming through it.. It's as if the pie crust overpowers it Allan's gives a strange taste.. I thought it was because I was using New York cheesecake but I took it out and it's still like that. It's so frustrating because I want a good key like pie so badly!!
hi how could I make this mix without TPA Pie Crust as I only like to use Dike tone free Flavourings I have FA Cookie and FA apple pie any suggestions would be helpful
Had to sub pie crust so I tried FA Cookie at 1% but it wasn't quite enough. Added 0.5% Sugar Cookie aswell and it has made a perfect sweet cookie base. Zesty and creamy with a buttery biscuit base! Beautiful!
