I've tried well over a hundred combinations of flavors. This one is the only one so far that I thought was worth sharing. Give it a good two weeks of steeping or your preferred method of speed steeping. As far as I'm concerned this is as close to the authentic as I've ever gotten. Is it "the recipe"? That is impossible at this point, even Alien Visions cannot recreate the original since one of their flavor vendors changed the flavoring and another closed their doors. Now that I have a good baseline I will be making some adds, moves, and changes to emphasize flavors that I personally want but I will leave this recipe here unfettered for prosperity.
I see were your coming from with this, I have some of the elusive Bobas left. I did this recipe but did not have FW 555, I used Inawerea 555 gold at 1%, I also tried it with the recommended 2% coconut candy. Like you said not Boba's but a good vape none the less, I lowered the Coconut candy by .5% to 1.5% the second time and seeded the batch with a 2ml of a 100ml test. I did not give it time to steep yet, but it is very vapable. I will give a while to steep and try again. I have exhausted my time with this juice myself, as so many others have. But to come close is at least is a start. When you say 50% T.A. do you mean you diluted the ECX T.A. cause I just used it at half the % .25 and I also did not add any PG to the mix either. as the og is all VG.
I am almost convinced that the OG has a ph balancer too, I may try a small amount of apple cider vinager to a small sample to see if it improves anything. Most recipes I have seen also contain Black mile, or something similar. may have to try a few more things out....I will report back if I find anything that sticks.
No I did not dilute the TA, it is pre-diluted by ECX, link here: http://www.ecigexpress.com/diy-e-liquid/e-liquid-additives/liquid-concentrates/tobacco-absolute-liquid-concentrate.html
I've tried ACV but couldn't detect much of a change in flavor profile personally so I decided less is more in the end, as always YMMV.
This is my personal belief, and I am certainly no authority, but I think using Black Mile is a mistake. I feel like it's used more for color and not necessarily for it's flavor profile. About half of the test batches I made had included it. Eventually I found I was trying to make it work for the wrong reasons.
For anyone that wants to try this recipe, steeping is paramount. After a week it's good and almost completely different from freshly mixed, but after two to three weeks it's amazing AF.
I tried the TA at .5 and the ACV at .5 but in both batches, the TA overuled the flavorings and the ACV was strong in the exhale. I've been on a rush for this, I'm using black cigar (black and mild) from vaping zone, Black Cigar SC. Lightning Cannon was a jango clone from another Et3rnt1y, tjek.nu/r/d3a I subbed out the RY4 for Tuscan Ultimate and it tasted pretty interesting. I've converted alot of other popular formulas that some users have tried but the 2013-ish recipes I think need a conversion to match this years tech. Glad to meet you all by the way
