Damn it man, I'm puffing on this after a 24 hour steep and it's soooo close to 5 stars. It just lacks intensity, or something.
I'd like it to go a little more in the throat hitty tobacco direction, rather than the desert direction. I'm wondering if I deleted the AM4A and subbed it with Latakia or something at a higher percentage it might work.

@Mixtard. 24 hours is not long enough for the Perique Black to develop. After a couple weeks it should be more smokey. This is why I wanted to sub it for Shade, because I'm looking for a less harsh vape. You could try the Perique at 2% maybe?

Guys, if you want to vape tobacco recipes, forget short time steeping. The least I steep my tobacco mixtures is 1 month and it's then that I get the best out of them.

You got it with shade, all other ingredients correct and 5 week steep. I'll make with Perique next time so we can compare.
