Notes
Age this one at least 4 weeks for a smooth tobacco menthol vape.
A little different from the original....The Polar Ice makes it 'colder' !!
I keep this one with me all the time, just for those anxious moments!

Have you tried the WS-23 cooling agent yet?

@Urano_Metria - No. Have you? What company makes it?

I don't think it's from a specific company, just a type of ingredient used for cooling. Koolada is actually cooling agent WS-3, but WS-23 (no marketing name like Koolada) is the one used in Malaysian e-juices.

I actually have some arriving tomorrow if you'd like me to report back how it compares to Koolada. It's supposed to be stronger and better than Koolada, without the harshness/grittiness and flavor muting you get with Koolada at higher percentages. Also no minty flavor like menthol obviously.

Great. Yes, please . I'd be interested.

Messed around with WS-23 all weekend. Dumped my Koolada down the drain it's so awesome. It's a bit too early to say definitively, but I think I'm going to be retiring my Polar Blast as well.

At 0.5% I'm getting the cooling experience that many mixers claim to be able to get from Koolada at 0.5%, which requires me to use Koolada at 2% or more. We all know Koolada can start to negatively effect recipes at 2%+.

WS-23 in a MTL setup at 2.5% is SUPER ICY with no background harshness or flavor muting for me at all. No minty flavor either. Exactly what I was going for.

DTL at 2.5% is even icier for me, well into the actual brain freeze zone. Still no harshness or muting, but honestly way too cold to be enjoyable for chain vaping. Definitely bordering on unusable at this percentage, which is honestly a good thing, since it's in reference to the cooling effect alone.

I'd highly recommend picking some up to try out.

Seems like a great cooling agent. Thanks for all of the info. Where do you purchase W-23 , @Urano_Metria ?

I got 100ml of a 30% solution here: https://www.chefsflavours.co.uk/additives/5091-ws-23.html#/9-size-100ml

Although it looks like they're out of stock now. It would probably be a ton cheaper to buy the crystals themselves from Drip Hacks and dilute them in PG yourself. https://driphacks.com/product/koolada-ws-23-crystals/

That's what I'll be doing when I run out of this down the line. They're both based in the UK though. As far as I know no US vendor sells WS-23 except for ECX, but they only carry it in 10ml and at a ridiculous price.
